Lugar muy bonito, distribución agradable de la propiedad, si quieres relajarte en lugares bucólicos has venido al lugar indicado ... Navega, entre la piscina natural, piscina, tarima de madera en el acantilado ... varias distribuciones para admirar el océano. Buen restaurante a la sombra, personal amable. Pequeño inconveniente de la oscuridad de las habitaciones, pero eso es parte del encanto.

Este hotel fue absolutamente maravilloso, cada pequeña unidad de la casa está construida en el paisaje de forma natural y se siente muy parte del medio ambiente. La cala para nadar es increíble y nadé a diario. La piscina es preciosa. El desayuno es sencillo pero sabroso y el restaurante es delicioso para cenar. ¡Altamente recomendado! Definitivamente volveremos.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful, each little house unit is built into the landscape naturally and feels very much part of the environment. The swimming cove is incredible and I swam daily. The pool is lovely. Breakfast is simple but tasty and the restaurant is delicious for dinner. Highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back.

Não recomendaria as instalações. Tanto que depois de visitar o quarto, cancelamos a nossa reserva e mudamos de hotel. Muito longe de uma classificação de quatro estrelas, sem conforto e quarto muito degradado com imensa humidade. No entanto, a recepcionista foi muito prestável e simpática atendendo ao nosso pedido para abandonar o hotel.

No recomendaría las instalaciones. Tanto es así que después de visitar la habitación, cancelamos nuestra reserva y cambiamos de hotel. Lejos de una calificación de cuatro estrellas, sin comodidades y una habitación muy deteriorada con mucha humedad. Sin embargo, la recepcionista fue muy servicial y amable con respecto a nuestra solicitud de salir del hotel.

Location of hotel is five stars,setting at the cliffs to the ocean is exceptional! rooms are unfortunatelly damp due to high humidity,ventilation of rooms is inadequate!Restaurant is very good,good quality food and wide range of food! Pool is set very nicely but outdated,sunchairs are worn,no cushins offered,also no poolbar!Breakfast is more on the level of a Youth Hostel than on a 4-star hotel,simple food,small variaty,presented in a very simple way,instant coffee! So all in all max 3 stars considering the hotel claims a 4-star status The owner does not give a sh.. about the hotel guests,no "good morning","how are you" or "did you have a nice day" or such!!His attitude towards the hotel guests propably explains the condition the rooms are in!

Good social distancing measures in place, excellent food, very scenic restaurant, ample parking. The owner came to check in on our party of 15+. Muito Obrigado to everyone at Aldeia da Fonte restaurant for making our special day a memorable one. The grounds of this restaurant/hotel by the ocean and by the pool have stunning views of the Atlantic and Lajes Do Pico.

Espléndido hotel y el restaurante es fantástico, excelente comida, excelente servicio, ambiente encantador. Bonita piscina, no ocupada. Acceso al mar por las rocas, para nadar. Buena ubicacion en la isla. El personal es realmente muy útil. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente, especialmente la casa de la piscina, si está disponible.

Superb hotel and the restaurant is fantastic - great food, great service, lovely environment. Nice pool, not busy. Access to the sea down the rocks, to some swimming. Good location on the island. Staff are very helpful indeed. Highly recommend it, especially the Pool House, if available.

Este espaço fez-me lembrar a Aldeia da Cuada nas Flores mas no nosso ver com muito melhores condições desde os acessos às casas bem como a quantidade de sombra que possui. Do nosso quarto via-se e ouvia-se o mar, soube muito bem! O restaurante é um espaço lindo onde apetece estar e nada dispendioso para comer!

Very beautiful hotel with great natural views, set in the forest on a cliff of an ocean. Those who complained about dated utensils, humid rooms, not working TV, rusted metal parts and electrical outlets they do not realise that Pico island, Azores is located 1700 km away from the closest continent land mass and that because of the year round high humidity everything rusts within weeks or months. Those things are expensive to replace and the hotel management may have other plans to spend the earned money than on the electronic, electric appliances and utensils and room upgrades. READ ON if you want to read the MOST IMPORTANT reason why it is not perfect as a 4 star hotel. The attitudes of the Azoreans (Portuguese) are more direct and there is that insular mentality and the most important reason is that there is a SEVERE LACK of (quality) contractors, servicemen and workers and their attitudes to working hours, work in general and their attitudes to work quality is very poor. The Azorean (Portuguese) people prefer family values to work and if they don't have to they will not work and you can not force them to work. Plus, the promise is just a promise and that is true not only in California or America, but also in the Azores, which are greatly influenced by North American cultural values mixed with Portuguese; French, dutch and even Arabic values. So think about how hard and how difficult is for the hotel owners to have all those things repaired and kept intact while there are no reliable servicemen and workers on the island of Pico and probably in the entire Azores. The best service men and workers, labourers have left for Bermuda, Germany and even Angola and to some other countries and only the worst and the slowest workers remain on the island, who usually have poor health such as back issues etc. So those expats and investors who wish to have their ruin restored on Pico beware - you will lose half of your life trying to do that and the quality will be very poor, if you ever complete your project. Especially hard to find, are too busy or even are non-existent on Pico are: plumbers, carpenters, stone masons, especially roofers! That is unless you are extremely lucky and hire foreign workers at a high expense as we did and ended up with an overpriced house that we can't sell. Thus enjoy Aldeia da Fonte as this is the best you can ever experience on Pico.

Beautiful hotel made of stones. Flowers and greenery everywhere! Really nice views with paths leading to the water. The restaurant was delicious! The rooms are simple and clean.

Gostei muito a simpatia dos funcionários. Não Gostei muito de saber que à noite não há ninguém ou nenhum funcionário , para auxiliar os hóspedes. Os jardins podiam estar mais limpos, a piscina ainda fica longe dos quartos e é pena não ter um bar. No restaurante a comida é muito boa.

Logo que vimos as primeiras fotos do Aldeia da Fonte ficámos apaixonados pelo hotel. Com altas expetativas as mesmas não só foram atingidas como foram bem além de tudo o que esperávamos. O nosso bungalow praticamente à beira-mar parecia mais um sonho, com um quarto bem amplo, uma kitchenette, uma ótima casa-de-banho e ainda um mezanino com sala de estar! As imediações dos bungalows são rodeadas de bastante vegetação e com pequenos jardins muito bem cuidados. O hotel dispõe ainda de um spa e de uma sala de fitness que, por falta de tempo, acabámos por não experimentar. Os dois pequenos-almoços que lá tomámos foram simplesmente excelentes. Enfim, todo o pessoal com quem tivemos contacto também foi muito profissional e amigável. Eis que o Aldeia da Fonte é, pois, o lugar onde ficar na ilha do Pico. A nossa estadia no Aldeia da Fonte ficou marcada para sempre e muito provavelmente o mesmo acontecerá com toda a gente que por lá já passou, está a passar ou irá passar no futuro.
