At the tip of Leisure Island and overlooking the Knysna Lagoon this hotel has an outdoor pool and terrace with panoramic views. Its rooms have a furnished balcony or patio.The sunny and spacious rooms are equipped with air conditioning and satellite TV. Each en suite bathroom features free toiletries.The Amanzi Lodge boasts a swimming pool and terrace. Guests can relax whilst overlooking the lagoon and enjoy a drink. To explore the scenic area around the lagoon the hotel offers guests usage of bikes or canoes.Free private parking on site.Within 20 minutes of driving distance from the hotel golfers can choose between 3 golf courses to play. The Knysna Elephant Park is 26 km away.

Os desvios de carga são bastante comuns nos dias de hoje em SA, este local pode informar as pessoas quando reservam que não têm um gerador, por exemplo. Além disso, sem energia, você não tem aquecimento, o que em setembro foi complicado. Estávamos com muito frio e tivemos que encontrar uma solução para nos aquecer. Não há muita atenção aos detalhes para muitos funcionários, especialmente para o café da manhã, que levou séculos para ser preparado quando se podia ouvir as pessoas na cozinha rindo e se divertindo. Fora de uma viagem de 1 mês em SA, este é um dos 2 lugares onde não vamos voltar. A localização, ilha de lazer, é muito agradável e tranquila.

A localização deste hotel com vista para a lagoa é de uma beleza única. O termo hotel boutique certamente se aplica às suítes inestimáveis. O pequeno quarto duplo com vista para o mar e um mini banheiro com mini conforto e camas muito duras não merece o nome de Suíte Coral. Nem o chamado buffet de pequeno-almoço. Pena !?!?!

Ficamos lá por 3 noites durante nossa viagem pela rota Garden no final de setembro de 2022. Tínhamos reservado originalmente para setembro de 2021, mas não pudemos comparecer devido a Covid, mas eles foram tão complacentes que mudaram nossa reserva para 2022. Nós viajou como uma família de 3 adultos. Tínhamos reservado a suíte Oystercatcher para nós, mas tivemos uma grande surpresa, pois nos ofereceram uma suíte adicional de cortesia para nossa filha. O lodge tem uma localização soberba de frente para a lagoa Knysna com belos jardins. As suítes são bem equipadas. O restaurante no local oferece um excelente café da manhã. Se preferir almoçar/jantar lá a escolha é limitada mas a preparação é boa. Eles fornecem serviço de transporte para embarque e desembarque a um custo nominal para a cidade. Vou começar dizendo que o Amanzi Island Lodge tem muitos aspectos agradáveis que tornarão a sua estadia agradável. Fica na Leisure Isle e eles disponibilizam bicicletas e caiaques gratuitos, para que você possa curtir a beleza da ilha. O café da manhã é adorável, e os funcionários são muito simpáticos. A vista é absolutamente imbatível.No entanto, a baixa classificação se deve a alguns pontos negativos que impediram que nossa estadia fosse ideal. Embora essas sejam coisas que poderiam ter sido ignoradas se o preço fosse mais baixo, elas são, em minha opinião, inaceitáveis para um hotel com esse preço. Em primeiro lugar, não é segredo que a África do Sul está passando por uma grande perda de carga no momento. A maioria dos lugares tem geradores para lidar com isso e, pelo preço que você paga pelo Amanzi, eles devem ter um gerador ou, pelo menos, notificá-lo de que não o fazem quando você reserva, para que você possa cancelar se isso for um problema. Personal muy muy amable. Miriam nos recibió y nos hizo sentir como en casa y muy bienvenidos. Hermosa vista desde el balcón de nuestra habitación sobre los Heads. Hermosa habitación grande. Muy limpio y ordenado. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra estadía, incluso si solo fue una noche.

I will start off by saying that the Amanzi Island Lodge has a lot of nice aspects that will make your stay a pleasant one. It is on Leisure Isle and they provide free bikes and kayaks, so you will be able to enjoy the beauty of the island. The breakfast is lovely, and the staff are overall very friendly. The view is absolutely unbeatable. However, the low rating is due to a few negatives that prevented our stay from being ideal. While these are things that could have been ignored if the price point was lower, they are, in my opinion, unacceptable for a hotel at this price. First, it's no secret that South Africa is experiencing a great deal of load shedding at the moment. Most places have generators to deal with this, and for the price you pay for Amanzi, they should absolutely have a generator or, at the very least, notify you that they do not when you book so you can cancel if this is a dealbreaker. Second, the property is showing a great deal of wear and tear that needs to be addressed. Third, if you come here expecting privacy - forget it. We stayed in the Kingfisher Suite, and the "private pool" is right outside of a common area. Not to mention, the gate onto your "private deck" is a main thoroughfare for both guests and employees and accessible to everyone. All in all, we likely wouldn't stay here again unless the price was lowered to reflect the quality or the issues were resolved. I would recommend staying elsewhere on Leisure Isle if you're hoping for a pleasant stay.

We stayed there for 3 nights during our trip of Garden route during end of September 2022. We had booked it originally for Sep 2021 but couldn't make it due due to Covid but they were so accommodating that they shifted our booking to 2022. We traveled as a family of 3 adults. We had booked Oystercatcher suite for us but we were in for a great surprise as we were offered an additional complimentary suite for our daughter. The lodge has a superb location facing Knysna lagoon with beautiful gardens. The suites are well appointed. The onsite restaurant provides excellent breakfast. If you prefer to have lunch/dinner there the choice is limited but the preparation is good. They provide shuttle service for drop and pickup at a nominal cost to the city. The vehicle is a new one and luxurious and the charges are very resonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. More

Load sheddings are quite common these days in SA, this place could let the people know when they book that they don't have a generator for example. Furthermore, with no power you don't have heating which in september was tricky. We were really cold and had to find solution to warm us up. There is not much attention to detail for a lot of the stafff especially for breakfast which took ages to be prepared when one could hear the people in the kitchen laughing and having fun. Out of a 1 month trip in SA, this is one of the 2 places where we will not go back. The location, leisure island, is very nice and quiet.

Infelizmente o hotel tem um grupo de funcionários ladrões, roubaram o cofre do nosso quarto duas vezes, roubos de centenas de dólares, a gerência e a polícia foram informadas, mas levaram o assunto com risos e que não há evidências de roubo . Cuidado com esse hotel, ele é lindo, sua localização é excelente, e seu preço é atrativo, mas infelizmente está cheio de ladrões.

Desafortunadamente el hotel tiene un grupo de empleados ladrones, robaron la caja de seguridad de nuestra habitación dos veces, robos de cientos de dólares, la gerencia y la policía fueron informadas, pero se tomaron el asunto con risa y que no hay evidencia de robo. . Cuidado con este hotel, es hermoso, su ubicación es excelente y su precio es atractivo, pero lamentablemente está lleno de ladrones.

The fact that it is on leisure isle and in a great spot already is a great start. It seems someone sat down and thought of all the "little things" which I appreciated. Like a safe that was better than any others I've used, a good hair dryer, hot water bottles and all the mini amenities that smelt so good. It could do with a tiny tweak or two on the outside just to boost it to perfection, but the friendly and highly accommodating staff really outweigh any of that. And the food was excellent. I had a chunk of fresh yellowtail with fresh veggies for dinner. And my eggs Florentine for breakfast was outstanding. There are lovely communal areas too, which made the business part of my trip a pleasure.I sure did like this place, didn't I? :)
