Ostend

A buffet breakfast whiskey lounge and 24-hour bar up the fun factor for guests at Hotel Bero which also boasts an indoor pool free Wi-Fi and easy beach access. Hotel Bero offers a flat-panel TV mini-fridge work desk and free Wi-Fi in each of its 35 rooms. Non-smoking rooms are available. After a day spent at the indoor pool sauna and steam bath relax with a drink at the hotel's 24-hour bar. The in-house lounge serves more than 70 varieties of whiskey. A breakfast buffet is served every morning. Parking is available on-site. Hotel Bero is a block from the beach two blocks from several restaurants and a nine-minute walk from Casino Kursaal Oostende. Guests walk 10 minutes to the Ostend Train Station or drive 30 minjutes to the Sea Life Centre. The hotel is two miles from the Wellington Golf Course and four miles from Ostend-Bruges International Airport.

We stayed one night, the one person we spoke to on reception was really rude kept playing a game on his phone whilst we waited. Was a bit like faulty towers. We also left with lots of bites all over us, trying to figure out if they are bed bugs, the room was.big but in need of an update. The staff in the morning at breakfast however could not have been nicer and the swimming pool area and sauna were a hit.

Decent hotel with excellent breakfast. Conveniently located just off the main promenade. Nice pool,friendly staff. Couple of things could be improved : The rooms are a bit worn-out and in desperate need of an refurbishment. The hairdryers are ancient and pretty pathetic. Carpets tired... also NO USB CHARGING POINTS ! Come on guys !

Nice and friendly staff who offered free waffles and hot chocolate after a cold walk at the beach. Location 5 facilities 5 breakfast 5 room 4 as it was quite old fashioned but at least it was clean. We knew this upfront and going with the family our main goal was to have lots of facilities (kids corner, swimming pool, on the rocks bar, gym) and location close to the beach. Loved it
