This Victorian family-run house is set in 2 acres of woodland and a 5-minute walk to the town of Pitlochry. It offers uniquely decorated bedrooms good food and a garden. The Birchwood is within a 30-minute drive to Tummel and Loch Rannoch. Guests can enjoy breathtaking scenery while walking cycling climbing or fishing. The Birchwood Hotel’s restaurant offers the best of fresh Scottish produce. The menu which is recreated daily is complimented by a selection of fine wines. Each bedroom is unique and has colour co-ordinated linen curtains and bedding. All beds have electric blankets for cold nights and all rooms come with tea/coffee making facilities. Guests can relax in the hotel’s garden which occasionally get a visit from a deer or red squirrels inhabiting the woodland. The Birchwood has retained much of it Victorian character including open fires gleaming brasses pine-wood panelling tall pine-framed windows and elaborate cornices. For guests arriving by train or bus collection can be arranged and parking is free at the hotel.
