Lucky to have 1 star. The young blonde lady behind reception was so rude during check in, chatting to the young lad, laughing around instead of checking us in, she told us to go to 151 Duke Street as we were staying in the apartments for us to find out that building was all locked up, so we called the hotel back up and spoke to a young man who advised us we was further down the road and he hung up the phone before giving directions, we then called back a couple of times and had no answer, so we had to walk around looking for the apartments ourselves. This was after we paid for early check in as well and didnt end up getting into the apartment until just before normal check in time as we were waiting that long for the lady to sort our room key out and then having to find the apartments. Will not be using this hotel again.

The hotel is lovely with a great bar area and friendly check in staff. However I wouldn’t stay here again simply because the room was hotter than staying in Egypt. I must have always taken air con for granted because there isn’t any in these rooms and the windows hardly open which meant a very unrestful nights sleep.

Absolutely disappointing. I wish I read these Google’s reviews before booking this place!
So I guess it’s fortunate we didn’t have to stay at this place. My check in dates were during the lockdown and the hotel has refused to refund what we had paid even though the government has told companies to return money to their customers!
This lockdown has been an eye opener in showing me what business are just as greedy as the next. There are payouts in place to help such businesses and all they clearly care about is lining their own filthy pockets and taking no consideration for those who had to forfeit the price ontop of losing their jobs!
I will not be recommending this property and please just read these reviews before booking!

We were given a different hotel room to which we had chosen but we didn’t mind, there were burn marks in the sofa, cutlery hadn’t been cleaned, plates and pans we’re also dusty, great location however and heard no noise at all.

Extremely poor customer service. Hotel closed over my dates, and the hotel refused to issue a refund, despite me appealing with them numerous times that I lived abroad in Canada, and that it was not possible for me to take a credit to use within the next year as it would not be possible for me to travel all the way to the UK next year just to use their credit. While many other businesses are doing the right thing in these circumstances, Epic Seel Street is only focussed on themselves. While I understand it is possible for some people to reschedule to a future date in the next year, in particular people who live in the country, it is not possible for everyone living abroad, and in particular those who are pregnant and cannot travel with an infant child next year. I would never stay here again for this reason. I don’t support businesses that don’t care about their clients.
