“... Originalmente construído, no séc. XIX, como o chalet do conde Cabral, foi mais tarde transformado em estalagem e, desde 2002, no Farol Design Hotel que se implanta num local privilegiado, sobre as rochas junto ao farol de Santa Marta. O hotel dispõe de 33 quartos, 10 dos quais decorados por designers portugueses de renome, 11 com vista para o mar, 10 vista para terra e duas suítes. Exteriormente tem dois painéis de azulejos muito interessantes. Um conta a história do desembarque, em Cascais, de Christopher Columbus na manhã de 1493mar04, no seu regresso da 1ª viagem à América, garantindo que este era um nobre português. O outro identifica 63 “pessoas de boa vontade, empenhadas em repor os ideais de 25 de abril de 1974 que partidários de totalitarismos vinham desvirtuando”. Very nice hotel by the sea. Wonderful ocean view from the pool or the restaurant (notably used for the breakfast, which is excellent). We booked this hotel to visit Sintra, located less than 30' by car. The staff is really lovely and the location in Cascais perfect for those who can walk 15'. Some pieces of furnitures needs to be replaced, but otherwise the overall experience was perfect.

Just an incredible hotel with a great welcoming. However the general quality of the rooms doesn’t worth a 5 * hotel. I’m sorry but 170€ per night with stains on the carpet and the wall ... is not acceptable COVID or no COVID

Muito triste muito desapontado com as condições do hotel uma pessima escolha da minha parte o staff é simpático mas por noite quase 500 euros, no meu ver acho elevado para as condição do quarto em si, aluguei a suite com jacuzzi no entanto torneiras danificadas varão do chuveiro solto sem contar com o pó que tinha no quarto que tive que pedir ao rececionista que mandasse alguem dar um “geitinho“ já fiquei em varios hoteis bem mais baratos e muito melhores paisagem linda

Um óptimo hotel, bastante bem localizado junto a baia de cascais. Tem uma vista deslumbrante sobre o mar. Por dentro e muito bonito mesmo. Bastante requintado e muito acolhedor. Nas traseiras do hotel e possível usufruir de uma vista lindíssima sobre o mar enquanto bebe um cocktail. Em tempos foi uma grande discoteca com grande Nome de coconuts.

El hotel es tranquilo y está bien situado. Sin embargo la relación calidad precio es muy baja. Habitaciones pequeñas y mal dotadas impropias de un hotel de cinco estrellas. Desayunos poco variados que no corresponde a un establecimiento de este nivel. Precios abusivos para cualquier bebida o snack..

Fantastic boutique design hotel on the edge of the town center. The Farol sits on top of a cliff and is haven of calm and cool personified. The common areas are full of edgy art pieces and the rooms have a contemporary modern look and feel. From a servuce point of view the staff always available and at hand to manage any request. From location point of view you are positioned at less than 5 mins from the city center. Close enough to come in easily but far enough if you want your piece of calm. Definitely worth a detour

Honestly i didnt want to leave. Perfect service and location. Quite and unspoiled view exclusive to yourself. Definitely go have a drink outside while watching the pink sunset. Stunning.

Stayed here a couple of years ago & I couldn’t recommend it highly enough, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, amazing food, views and accommodation. Great location too, a short walk from shops & restaurants. Excellent.
