I mailed the hotel to ask for help with my proposal to my girl on vacation in Madeira. A couple of days later I got a call from Lydia. What a wonderful lady. She helped me with all the preparations and gave really good advice. The rooms are good maintained. The breakfast is really diverse, also lots of vegan options. The views are amazing, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Parking spots are also in abundance. Would definitely book four views again when we revisit.

On arrival at this hotel my first impression was the cleanliness of the hotel. I felt the gentleman on reception to book us in seemed a bit serious and could have been friendlier. It was a bit confusing how to find the room so we had to go back to ask him. The overall quality of the food was good, the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. My only criticism was the time taken to clear the tables and I ended up putting the empty plates on surrounding tables. The entertainment was good and bar staff friendly.

Room was really nice. Staff were very friendly. Great location. Service were great. Celebrated a birthday there and they went above and beyond and made it feel really special. Great breakfast. Lovely views from the pool and the whole hotel really.

Exceptionally clean, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, great shower, friendly staff, stunning views over Funchal and across to the Fort. 20 minutes walk down a fairly steep road takes you to the sea front, 10 minutes up hill to a decent supermarket.
Great credit to the owners for pricing the drinks competitive with bars in the town. A distinct contrast with some of the rip off prices in hotels around the Casino area (you know who you are).
Our room had a kitchenette, all good other than the position of the microwave which is something of a health and safety issue if you are less than 6ft tall and are removing any high temperature liquids.
All in all good value for money and highly recommended, would stay here again.

The hotel was stunning. The interior design and colour scheme in the room was amazing. Great facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly. If you are interested in hiking, speak to Lidia, she will definitely help. The location is close to loads of shops, restaurants and bars. I couldn't fault it at all. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Fantastic Hotel right in the heart of the city. Wonderful views on all sides (even the back). Lovely large comfortable rooms and the food in the mornings and evenings was the best. Food is so good here. Pool is very nice too. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

After our traumatic start in trying to find the hotel with a satnav and coming into the back of the hotel with our hire car and the rather abrupt response at the desk, our stay was excellent. The staff were excellent at all times and enabled my wife to have an unforgettable experience for her 70th birthday. Thank you.

Nice hotel to stay. Room has everything you need, staff is very friendly and you get pool towels for free which is really useful. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is probably the best part of the stay; the variety of the food is feom continental to English breakfast and healthy options are also available (fruit salad is very good). Spa is also very nice, it has indoor pool, jacuzzi, saunas and gym. Recommended.
