Serviço excelente. Muita simpatia. Bom ambiente. Quarto pronto antes da hora e por isso mesmo foi possível entrar no alojamento mais cedo. Fruta no quarto como boas vindas.. Fantástico pequeno almoço . Nada de negativo a apontar. Muito bom. recomendo .

Hotel pequeno, com uma parte recente e uma outra nitidamente com mais tempo. O pequeno almoço é normal e os quartos acolhedores, já o parque de estacionamento é muito pequeno, chegando fora de horas não se consegue lugar e no sítio onde se situa este hotel é muito difícil arranjar. A piscina é grande e com profundidade suficiente para mergulhar. Tem 2 diferentes. As vistas não são nada de especial.

Sem dúvida um hotel para ferias. Hotel lindíssimo, com uma parte de jardim e piscinas lindo. O pequeno almoço maravilhoso e variado. Limpeza nos quartos óptima é uma vista imperdível todas as manhãs... chegámos um pouco antes da hora, no entanto como os quartos já estavam prontos pudemos descansar logo e a recepcionista foi muito simpática. Além disso tivemos um cestinho com frutas quando chegamos ao quarto, como boas vindas o que é sempre bom para um lanchinho. O estacionamento e pequeno no entanto conseguimos sempre lugar sem problema. Recomendo a quem queira aquelas férias sem se preocupar com nada.

Um hotel no Funchal, com ascomodidades necessárias para deslocação em trabalho. Esta situado numa zona movimentada, sendo o único ponto negativo que aponto o mau isolamento dos quartos virados para a rua principal.

Personal encantador e instalaciones razonables. Buena ubicación para ir a Funchal y explorar, aunque en una calle muy transitada (el ruido del tráfico nos mantuvo despiertos la primera noche). Buena relación calidad-precio, pero no para las personas que quieren un lugar más tranquilo para quedarse. La comida del buffet era una buena variedad con muchas opciones.

Un hotel excelente con una excelente ubicación en el corazón de todo. Estacionamiento gratuito para los clientes, lo cual es importante al alquilar un automóvil (¡y sin un automóvil es poco probable que vea las cosas más interesantes en Madeira!). Suficiente variedad de alimentos para el desayuno, todo está limpio, el personal es amable y servicial. Wifi normal en las habitaciones. Menos, quizás, solo uno, pero también se aplica a los hoteles de Portugal continental, donde casualmente me encontraba: aislamiento acústico deficiente de la calle, incluso con la puerta del balcón cerrada.

Lovely staff and reasonable facilities. Good location to get into Funchal and explore, although on a busy road (traffic noise kept us up on the first night). Good value for money, but not for people who want a quieter place to stay. Buffet food was a good variety with plenty of options.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Girassol.
Front desk staff including the manager and Clara were extremely attentive/friendly and helpful.
We were on our honeymoon, and felt we were really looked after by the staff esp the manager. (sorry unsure of his name!)
The hotel is in a great location to Funchal, and has lots of restaurants/shops nearby.
Our room was spacious, with a living area/sofa/TV and a balcony with stunning views.
For tourists, there is a COVID testing site opposite the hotel which is great for requiring a test to return to the UK.
It was spotless in public areas, and the maids did a great job of tidying our room when requested.
The SPA is a lovely addition to the hotel and we both had a massage which was of good value of massage and SPA access for 30€.
In terms of improvement:
I would suggest the hotel invests in more than one iron as there were many occasions were we couldn’t access the iron as it was with other customers.
The air con unit was not very powerful, and the fan above the bed did not generate much cool air. We struggled to sleep some nights, and felt this would have been a problem in warmer months.
We didn’t eat at the hotel but from observation, there needs to be more attention to catering to a vegan diet.
Rooms are clean/good size/standard however would benefit from a freshen up to bring them in line with the extremely reception area of the hotel.
We were extremely pleased with our stay, and felt it exceeded our expectations.

Staff were great at the bar and front desk that's my only positive with the hotel Negativewith the hotel are To many cats had a allergic reaction with them.did not cater for a vegan Toddlers pool has mould on the virtical part of the pool, and never any sun loungers unless go put a towel on them at about 6-30 am But the most thing I hated about the hotel was items taken from our room which was used the night before manager came and searched our room but never found the items that went missing I am home now and will be speaking to jet2 again. I would like to thank christanson front desk Lisa by the pool and the young girl at the first floor bar

O Hotel Girassol é uma excelente opção para quem visita a Madeira / Funchal, só, em família ou casal. Os quartos/ apartamentos são espaçosos e modernos. O espaço exterior é grande, dividido entre grandes espaços de jardim, 4 piscinas , bar/esplanada. O interior do hotel é muito giro, com mensagens inspiradoras espalhadas pelas paredes. Existe uma pequena biblioteca que passa quase despercebida, sala de refeições, bar. A localização do hotel é excelente e tem estacionamento. O Staff é 5 estrelas! A sua simpatia e disponibilidade contribuem para as memórias fantásticas que trazemos do paraíso que é a Madeira.
