Gutshof zum Schluxen

Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle Hotel Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away. Completely renovated in 1989 and partly renovated in 2014 the former estate offers rooms in a Tyrolean style some of which have a balcony. Additional pillows and blankets are available on request and at a surcharge. The restaurant serves Tyrolean and international cuisine. Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle can be reached on foot in about 1 hour in 30 minutes by bicycle or in 15 minutes by car. Linderhof Caslte is a 45-minute car drive away. In winter a cross-country ski run is right outside Hotel Gutshof zum Schluxen. The nearest ski area is 12 km away.
