Overall : Superb stay, completely unexpected for the small town of Stephenville.
Pros: Very friendly staff when we checked in. Free breakfast was actually free, and despite being a brown bag takeaway to prevent covid it was better than most hotel 'continental' breakfasts from before covid. It has an apple, granola bar, good size muffin, and bottled water. The bed and pillows were great, with some soft and some firm pillows. All the facilities here worked great, everything was clean, had TV with about 6 HBO channels, microwave, mini fridge, desk and office chair. Even with a wedding party staying next door we didn't have to work about noise.
Cons: the price was higher than some in the area (~ 100), but definitely worth it. It was probably also higher due to TSU graduation this weekend.

This hotel was filthy and falling apart. The carpets looked as if they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks, the paint was peeling, the ceiling was caving in, there was dust on the shelves, used coffee in the machine, hairs in the sink, gum on the floors. When we went to go to the pool there was a note saying the door was broken and to use the outside door. I'm in a wheelchair and there were no ramps on either of the sidewalks were had to use. No ramps to the backdoor entrance, to which the door was broken leaving us locked out. Once we finally got in the pool there were no towels. I will say that the front desk staff was very kind, and the location is nice. Maintenance and house keeping are just seriously lacking.

We reserved our room online a week ago, we checked in yesterday morning and when we got there they gave us a key to our correct room we reserved. We went to the room and opened the door and walked in on a family! Went back down and they offered us a smoking room because it was the only one available! It smelled like they had not cleaned it and there was a stain on one of our towels! Then they charged the wrong card after we told them what card to charge! We will not be coming here again.

Really nice hotel. It was pretty busy, so I was afraid I’d be able to hear people at night...but NO! It was clean and very comfortable.
