Nice rooms but patio gets too noisy at nights. Overpriced. Service is really bad. For that price range you might expect help with bags and better service, but apparently they are managing this as if it where a low budget boutique hotel. For this price you might find way better options nearby

Este hotel tem muito potencial, com tão belos ossos e um ótimo restaurante italiano no térreo. Mas minha experiência aqui foi, infelizmente, uma das piores estadias em hotéis de que me lembro em minhas três décadas de viagens pelos cinco continentes.Meu parceiro e eu tivemos vários problemas durante uma estadia de quatro noites e, pacientemente, compartilhamos o feedback diretamente com o hotel. Mas acabamos sem resolução e uma garantia vazia de que nossas preocupações seriam atendidas no final de nossa estada. (No check-out, não houve reconhecimento das preocupações não resolvidas ou qualquer tipo de encerramento.) Sentimos que os futuros hóspedes deverão ser informados sobre nossa experiência.Vazamento em 109:Ficamos no 109 e, logo depois de fazer o check-in, começou a vazar água do fundo da pia do banheiro. O vazamento começaria cerca de 5 minutos depois de usarmos a torneira, e da primeira vez que aconteceu, muita água acumulou-se rapidamente no chão do nosso banheiro e quase atingiu nossas bagagens e os sapatos bonitos que desempacotamos ao lado do armário de pé, que é perto do banheiro. (O quarto é um conceito aberto, com uma parede parcial separando a área da cama e do banheiro. O conceito é legal nas fotos, mas na realidade impraticável.) A recepção mandou alguém imediatamente para dar uma olhada e limpar a água, mas nós teve que esperar o faz-tudo voltar com uma peça faltando para consertar o vazamento.O vazamento continua ao longo de uma estadia de quatro noites:Como iríamos assistir a um casamento naquela noite, concordamos que o vazamento estaria resolvido quando voltássemos do casamento. Voltamos naquela noite e usamos a pia, presumindo que o vazamento estava consertado, apenas para descobrir que não estava. Relatamos o problema novamente no dia seguinte - depois de sermos acordados pela equipe de limpeza batendo em nossa porta um pouco depois das 9h em um sábado (acredito que não seja um horário normal em qualquer lugar). Enquanto isso, usamos o chuveiro para lavar as mãos e escovar os dentes, para evitar o vazamento da pia. Perguntamos sobre a possibilidade de nos mudarmos para outro quarto, mas fomos informados de que o hotel estava lotado.O faz-tudo voltou naquele dia e no seguinte, mas o vazamento permaneceu sem solução. Pedimos a ele que voltasse mais tarde em um desses momentos, pois precisávamos descansar no quarto depois de um longo dia. Parecia que ele nunca mais voltou depois disso. Permanecemos calmos e pacientes, embora não tenha havido mais nenhuma tentativa de encontrar uma solução real e nenhum acompanhamento de ninguém no hotel durante toda a nossa estadia. Tínhamos que continuar ligando ou indo para a recepção para fazer o acompanhamento.Sala escura com ventilação insuficiente:É importante notar que a sala é escura e tem pouca ventilação. Não há janelas. Esses elementos contribuíam para a desagradável sensação de voltar todos os dias a um cômodo úmido com um cheiro perpétuo de mofo vindo do banheiro, em vez do espaço calmo que imaginamos nas fotos. Meu parceiro teve dor de cabeça e não se sentiu bem nas duas últimas noites de nossa estadia, e sentimos que o ar úmido no quarto foi um fator contribuinte, porque ele se sentiria melhor quando saíssemos para tomar ar fresco.A música no pátio, especialmente à noite, podia ser ouvida bem alto em nosso quarto quando precisávamos descansar na privacidade de nosso quarto. Podemos ter estado em um estado de espírito diferente sobre a música em algumas outras noites, mas com a situação contínua com a água no banheiro e a sensação de mal-estar, a incapacidade de descansar em paz tornou tudo muito mais desagradável.Outras notas:Esperávamos encontrar um elemento redentor com a massagem interna oferecida no último andar do hotel por 150.000 COP por pessoa. Eu acredito que os massoterapeutas não são treinados adequadamente ou não são treinados. A massagem não era uma massagem. Meu terapeuta (?) Torceu minhas mãos de uma forma estranha que poderia ter me machucado, mas mesmo antes de isso acontecer, nós rapidamente entendemos que os terapeutas não entendiam totalmente o que estavam fazendo. Saímos em silêncio com uma gorjeta, mas esta experiência acrescentou uma camada adicional de profunda decepção com a nossa estadia.Em suma, uma perda de tempo, dinheiro e recursos humanos.

This hotel has so much potential, with such beautiful bones and a great Italian restaurant downstairs. But my experience here was unfortunately one of the worst hotel stays I can remember in my three decades of traveling across five continents.
My partner and I experienced multiple issues during a four-night stay, and we patiently shared feedback directly with the hotel. But we ended up with no resolution and an empty assurance that our concerns would be addressed by the end of our stay. (At check-out, there was no acknowledgement of the unresolved concerns or any type of closure.) We feel that future guests will need to be informed about our experience.
Leak in 109:
We stayed in 109, and soon after we checked in, water started leaking from the bottom of our bathroom sink. The leak would start about 5 mins after we used the faucet, and the first time it happened, a lot of water pooled quickly across our bathroom floor and almost got to our luggages and the nice shoes we unpacked next to the standing closet, which is by the bathroom. (The room is open concept, with a partial wall separating the bed and the bath area. The concept is cool in photos, but in reality impractical.) The front desk sent someone right away to take a look and clean the water, but we had to wait for the handyman to come back with a missing part to fix the leak.
Leak continues throughout a four-night stay:
Since we had a wedding to attend that evening, we agreed that the leak would be resolved by the time we came back from the wedding. We came back that night and used the sink, assuming the leak was fixed, only to discover it was not. We reported the issue again the next day -- after being woken up by cleaning staff knocking on our door a little past 9am on a Saturday (I believe this is not normal timing anywhere). Meanwhile, we used the shower to wash our hands and brush our teeth, to avoid the leaky sink. We asked about the possibility of moving to another room, but we were told the hotel was fully booked.
The handyman came back that day and the next, but the leak remained unresolved. We asked him to come back later on one of those times, because we needed to rest in the room after a long day. It appeared he never came back after that. We remained calm and patient, although there was no further attempt to find an actual solution and no follow-ups from anyone at the hotel throughout our entire stay. We had to keep calling or going to the front desk to follow up ourselves.
Dark room with poor ventilation:
It's worth noting that the room is dark and has poor ventilation. There are no windows. These elements contributed to the unpleasant feeling of returning every day to a dank room with a perpetual, musty smell coming from the bathroom, instead of the calm space we had imagined from the photos. My partner had a headache and felt unwell on the last two nights of our stay, and we feel that the dank air in the room was a contributing factor, because he would feel better when we came out for fresh air.
The music in the courtyard, especially in the evenings, could be heard loudly in our room when we needed to rest in the privacy of our room. We may have been in a different state of mind about the music on some other nights, but with the ongoing situation with the water in the bathroom and feeling unwell, the inability to rest peacefully made everything much more unpleasant.
Other notes:
We hoped to find a redeeming element with the in-house massage offered on the top floor of the hotel at 150.000 COP per person. I believe the massage therapists are not trained properly or at all. The massage was not a massage at all. My therapist (?) twisted my hands in a strange way that could have hurt me, but even before that happened, we quickly understood the therapists didn't fully understand what they were doing. We left silently with a tip, but this experience added an additional layer of deep disappointment with our stay.
All in all, a waste of time, money, and human resources.

O hotel é lindo e a atenção é incrível, todos os funcionários são muito simpáticos e alegres, principalmente o homem que nos ajudava na hora com a bagagem. Os pequenos almoços são pequenos mas se complementam muito bem com fruta e proteínas. A única coisa que não gostei e que não consegui perceber é como num quarto com duas camas de casal a casa de banho não tem porta, o que nos fazia não ter privacidade e tínhamos que subir ao terraço sempre que queríamos. use-o ... Eu ficaria feliz em voltar, mas não para o quarto 216 ou para qualquer pessoa que não tenha uma porta no banheiro.

El hotel es hermoso y la atencion increible, todo el personal es muy amigable y alegre especialmente el señor q nos ayudo rodo el tiempo con el equipaje. Los desayunos son pequeños pero los complementan muy bien con fruta y proteina. Lo unico q no me gusto y q no pude entender es como en una habiatacion de dos camas dobles el baño no tiene puerta lo q nos hizo no tener privacidad y tener que subir a la terraza cada vez q lo queriamos usar… Volveria encantada pero no a la habitacion 216 o cualquiera q no tenga puerta en el baño.

Admittedly I didn't live in the hotel, but decided to have a breakfast here, since nearby places were closed. A quite poor breakfast (no vegetables and fruits at all, awful coffee and juice!) costed the three of us 150.000 cop!

Escolhemos o Hotel Casa Don Luis principalmente pela sua localização muito central, e quando chegamos descobrimos que tinha sido inaugurado há menos de dois meses, então tudo estava novo e em perfeitas condições.Ficamos no quarto 212, espaços muito generosos e chuveiro grande e agradável.Nosso favorito era o pôr do sol na piscina da cobertura e o jantar noturno. Para o almoço tivemos ótimos restaurantes na mesma rua do Hotel.Boa Viagem!

We chose Hotel Casa Don Luis mainly because of its very central location, and when we arrived we discovered that it had been inaugurated less than two months ago so everithing was new and in perfect condition.
We stayed in the room 212, very generous spaces and big and nice shower.
Our favourithe was the sunset from the rooftop swimming pool and the night dinner. For lunch we had great restaurants in the same street of the Hotel.
