Quartos encantadores, a única coisa ruim que tenho a dizer é que não havia água quente. E o serviço de limpeza abriu minha porta enquanto o sinal de não perturbe estava ligado. Além disso, gostei da minha estadia.

Vaqueiros totais - evite a todo custo. Eu reservei para ficar aqui com um amigo e tive que cancelar por causa de covid. Reorganizei para o final do mês, mas infelizmente, alguns dias depois, percebi que a data também não era adequada e, novamente, tive que cancelar. Percebi neste momento que eles já haviam feito um “depósito” de £ 127 para esta estadia e agora estão se recusando a reembolsá-lo. Sim, foi por meio de um terceiro, mas é o hotel que faz a cobrança. A primeira desculpa foi que eles processaram o reembolso, a próxima desculpa foi que a reserva ainda estava ativa (não está). Eles estão basicamente tentando todas as desculpas do livro para sair do meu reembolso. Depois de vários e-mails diretos sem resposta (apesar de me pedir para entrar em contato diretamente), tive que acessar o site booking.com, que agora precisa encaminhar o caso, pois o hotel não está processando o reembolso. Não profissional e, infelizmente, agora perdeu um cliente que passa muito tempo em Chester. Eles podem ser um hotel Marriot, mas o serviço de atendimento ao cliente não é. Evite se você não quer perder seu dinheiro antes mesmo de ficar lá !!

Passei uma noite no Moxy Chester antes de uma viagem ao Zoológico. Reservamos um quarto standard que tinha muito espaço e para uma estadia nocturna ofereceu tudo o que precisávamos. A melhor coisa sobre a nossa estadia no entanto foi Lottie & Craig. Seu serviço foi fantástico, amigável e se superou, eles ainda fizeram um alarido do nosso filho de 2 anos. Nada foi demais, nós recebemos coquetéis de boas-vindas e Lottie tem ótimos conselhos sobre onde estacionar, etc. O café da manhã estava bom, especialmente pela forma como o hotel se anuncia, é peculiar, mas tem muito a oferecer. Em suma, um hotel limpo e bem equipado e com certeza ficaríamos novamente!

Total cowboys- avoid at all costs. I booked to stay here with a friend and had to cancel because of covid. I rearranged for later in the month but unfortunately a few days later realised that date wasn’t suitable either and again, had to cancel. I realised at this point they’d already taken £127 “deposit” for this stay and are now refusing to pay it back. Yes it was through a third party, but it’s the hotel that makes the charge. First excuse was they’d processed the refund, the next excuse was that the booking was still active (it isn’t). They’re basically trying every excuse in the book to get out of my refund. After several unanswered direct emails (despite asking me to reach out directly) I had to go through booking.com who are now having to escalate the case as the hotel are not processing the refund their end. Unprofessional, and unfortunately now lost a customer who spends a lot of time in Chester. Marriot hotel they may be, but marriot customer service it is not. Avoid if you don’t want to lose your money before you even stay there!!

Sin embargo, lo mejor de nuestra estancia fue Lottie & Craig. Su servicio fue fantástico, amable e hizo un esfuerzo adicional, incluso hicieron un escándalo con nuestro hijo de 2 años. Nada fue demasiado problema, nos dieron cócteles de bienvenida a cada uno y Lottie tiene muy buenos consejos sobre dónde aparcar, etc. El desayuno estuvo bien, especialmente por la forma en que el hotel se anuncia, es peculiar, pero tiene mucho que ofrecer. La primera excusa fue que habían procesado el reembolso, la siguiente excusa fue que la reserva todavía estaba activa (no lo está). Básicamente, están probando todas las excusas del libro para salir de mi reembolso. Después de varios correos electrónicos directos sin respuesta (a pesar de pedirme que me comunique directamente) tuve que pasar por booking.com, quienes ahora tienen que escalar el caso ya que el hotel no está procesando el reembolso al final. Poco profesional y, lamentablemente, ahora perdió a un cliente que pasa mucho tiempo en Chester. Hotel Marriott pueden ser, pero el servicio de atención al cliente de Marriott no lo es. ¡Evítelo si no quiere perder su dinero incluso antes de quedarse allí!

Spent one night at Moxy Chester prior to a trip to the Zoo. We booked a standard room which had plenty of space and for an overnight stay offered everything we needed.
The best thing about our stay however was Lottie & Craig. Their service was fantastic, friendly and went the extra mile, they even made a fuss of our 2 year old. Nothing was too much trouble, we were given welcome cocktails each and Lottie have great advice about where to park etc. Breakfast was just fine, especially for how the hotel advertises itself, it’s quirky, but has plenty on offer. All in all, a clean, well appointed hotel and we’d definitely stay again!

Acabamos de terminar a nossa estadia de 2 noites, nós definitivamente gostamos !! Incrível hotel peculiar, com características incríveis, a equipe é super simpática e adorável, nós ficamos aqui para visitar as áreas circundantes, como Chester zoo (nosso favorito) e Cheshire Oaks designer outlet. Nunca estivemos em Chester antes, então tudo era novo. A cidade local é muito próxima, com um pequeno shopping center, bares e restaurantes. O hotel foi excepcionalmente limpo, em todos os lugares em que você foi no terreno do hotel era adorável e limpo. Há estacionamento no local que é £ 6 por dia, o que é tranquilo razoável. Comida e bebida é um complemento, mas os preços razoáveis. As comodidades para fazer chá e café estão no andar de baixo (não no quarto) O nosso quarto tinha uma bela vista do canal que foi ótimo acordar todas as manhãs. Mesmo o convidado onde muito amigável. Uma coisa que não gostei foi alguém cantando às 2 da manhã !! Muito irritante e também o alarme de incêndio disparando às 5 horas da manhã novamente irritante Outros então que tivemos uma estadia fantástica !! Definitivamente voltarei :)

Nunca habíamos estado en Chester antes, así que todo era nuevo. La ciudad local está muy cerca con un pequeño centro comercial y bares y restaurantes. El hotel estaba excepcionalmente limpio, todos los lugares a los que fuiste en los jardines del hotel eran encantadores y estaban limpios. Hay estacionamiento en el lugar que cuesta £ 6 por día, lo cual es bastante razonable. La comida y la bebida son un complemento, pero a precios razonables. Just finished our 2 night stay, we definitely enjoyed it!! Amazing quirky hotel, with amazing features, the staff are super friendly and lovely, we stayed here to visit the surrounding areas such as Chester zoo (our favourite) and Cheshire oaks designer outlet. We’ve never been to Chester before so everything was all new.
The local town is very close with a small shopping centre and bars and restaurants.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, everywhere you went on the hotel grounds was lovely and clean. There is parking onsite which is £6 per day which is quiet reasonable. Food and drink is an add on but reasonable prices. Tea and coffee making facilities are downstairs ( not in the room)
Our room had a lovely view of the canal which was great waking up to each morning. Even the guest where very friendly.
One thing I didn’t appreciate was someone singing at 2 o’clock in the morning!! Very annoying and also the fire alarm going off at 5 o’clock in the morning again annoying
Other then that we had a fantastic stay!! Definitely be returning :)
