foi estranho que o hotel não garante que os quartos tenham chuveiros quentes, portanto, se alguém ficar neste hotel, pode cheirar mal por alguns dias. Não acho que seja uma boa política, mas é a política deste hotel. Com certeza não vou ficar neste hotel no futuro.
it was strange that the hotel does not guarantee that the rooms have hot showerstherefore if someone stay in this hotels she/he can stink for few days I do not think it is a good policy but it is the policy of this hotel. For sure I will not stay in this hotel in the future.
Nice deco, bom café da manhã, mas o nosso quarto era super barulhento. Quase não consegui dormir por causa do barulho da rua até as 3 da manhã
Good location but unfriendly staff and low quality breakfast (very loud at night)
No começo, ficamos felizes com o bom preço e a aparência do lobby, mas o quarto parecia mais antigo e menor do que nas fotos. Ficamos rapidamente decepcionados com muitos outros detalhes que mostraram um por um até o final de nossa estadia de 3 noites. Não é grande coisa, mas a tapeçaria da parede estava toda descascando e para mim é um sinal evidente de negligência (é fácil de consertar!) e sinal de que o gerente do hotel não está prestando atenção aos detalhes… espaço para colocar nossa bagagem (sem mesa, sem banco, nem um simples suporte dobrável, nada, então deixamos no chão e com covid, não é a melhor ideia… Piorou quando percebemos que não havia cobertor em TODOS (apenas uma folha plana fina) e sem água quente em TODOS (como nenhuma água estava acabando quando estava quente ou morna). Então, imediatamente perguntamos à recepção no início da primeira noite e eles apenas disseram que não há possibilidade de ter um cobertor e que a água quente deve ser consertada logo… Para o cobertor, com a temperatura quente lá fora (40 graus) tivemos que abrir o ar condicionado pelo menos em 24 e ventilador baixo para poder dormir, mas desde estava soprando diretamente na cama, era muito desconfortável e frio durante a noite e um cobertor era definitivo lmente necessário! Eu e minha esposa estamos viajando muito e não conheço nenhum outro hotel no mundo, com essa suposta classe/nível, que não dê um simples ÚNICO cobertor ou água quente! Na manhã seguinte, pedimos 2 garrafas de água no telhado e perguntamos primeiro se era grátis (em inglês e em espanhol, pois eles não entendem inglês corretamente) e a senhora disse que sim, é grátis. No dia de nossa partida, dissemos à recepção que ainda não tínhamos água quente / morna e a senhora apenas pediu desculpas e no topo ela nos pediu para pagar aquelas 2 garrafas de água que deveriam ser grátis! Nós realmente não nos importamos de pagar isso, mas se soubéssemos que tínhamos que pagar, mas já tínhamos mais de 10 litros de água no quarto quando pedimos e mesmo quando fizemos o check-out, então realmente não precisávamos . Finalmente, ficamos bravos porque eles não estavam se sentindo mal em nos cobrar por água quando não tínhamos água quente no quarto! Pedimos para falar com o gerente e fomos informados de que precisávamos marcar uma consulta por telefone! Conseguimos e ele nos ligou e disse que tinha que investigar. Ele me disse que me ligaria no WhatsApp após a investigação. No entanto, não recebemos um telefonema depois de alguns dias, então enviamos uma mensagem para ele (ele estava online e recebeu nossa mensagem), mas ele nunca respondeu! Tentamos ligar para ele desde que vimos que ele estava online, mas ele nos ignorou. Também estou na gestão hoteleira e esse é um dos piores atendimentos que já tive. Sem cobertor, sem água quente no chuveiro, sem resposta ao cliente, sério?
At first we were happy about the good price and the look of the lobby, but the room looked older and smaller than the pictures. We were quickly disappointed about a lot of other details that showed one by one until the end of our 3 nights stay. Isn’t a big deal but the wall tapestry was all peeling off and to me it’s an evident sign of negligence (it’s easy to fix!) and a sign that the hotel manager isn’t paying attention to details… Also, there was no space to put our luggage (no table, no bench, not even a simple foldable support, nothing, so we leaves it in the floor and with covid, isn’t the best idea… It got worst when we realized that there was no blanket at ALL (only a thin flat sheet) and no hot water at ALL neither (like no water was running out when it was on hot or warm water). So we immediately asked the reception early the first evening and they just said that there’s NO possibility to have a blanket and that the hot water should be fixed soon… For the blanket, with the hot temperature outside (40 degrees) we had to open the air conditioning at least on like 24 and low fan to be able to sleep but since it was blowing directly on the bed, it was really uncomfortable and cold during night and a blanket was definitely necessary! Me and my wife are traveling a lot and I don’t know any other hotel in the world, with that supposed class/level, that not giving a simple SINGLE blanket or hot water! The next morning, we asked 2 bottles of water on the roof top and asked first if it was free (in English and in Spanish since they don’t understand properly English) and the lady said yes it’s gratis. The day of our departure we told the front desk that we were still having no hot/warmth water and the lady just said sorry and in the top she asked us to pay those 2 bottles of water that were supposed to be free! We don’t really mind paying that but if we had knew that we had to pay, but we already had more than 10 liters of water in the room when we asked and even when we checked out, so we didn’t really need it. Finally, we were mad because they weren’t feeling bad to charge us for water when we didn’t have hot water in the room! We asked to speak with the manager and were told that we had to make a phone appointment! We made it and he called us and said that he had to investigate. He told me that he would call me on WhatsApp after the investigation. However, we didn’t receive a phone call after a couple days, so we texted him (he was online and got our message) but he never answered! We tried calling him since we saw that he was online, but he ignored us. I’m also in hotel management and that’s one of the worst costumer service I ever had. No blanket, no hot water in shower, no response to the client, seriously?
Everything! The rooms, staff, food, vibe, decor, check-in... we keep coming back!
Esta foi uma das minhas melhores estadias em hotéis. É muito limpo e a atenção é fenomenal. A Recepcionista Kelly é um amor e muito prestativa. Definitivamente, toda vez que eu voltar a Cartagena, vou ficar lá.
Eu fiquei muito impressionado!! Pelo preço, era fenomenal. A vista do terraço não é das melhores, mas a piscina e as cadeiras são ótimas. O café da manhã na cobertura é perfeito. Serviço excelente
Os quartos são muito espaçosos, o banheiro é espetacular, me apaixonei completamente, pois é muito espaçoso e concordei com o ambiente desejado. O pequeno-almoço é variado e muito rico. A única coisa é que à noite há muito barulho e isso não permite que você repouse bem.
Muy cuidadosos con cada detalle del hotel y la habitación, se nota que están muy bien organizados, y se esmeran mucho por cada detalle y el mantenimiento de las instalaciones
Este ha sido una de mis mejores estadías en un hotel. Es muy limpio y la atención fenomenal. La Recepcionista kelly es un amor de persona, y muy colaboradora. Definitivamente cada vez que vuelva a Cartagena me quedare ahi.
Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas, el baño es espectacular, me enamoré por completo, ya que es muy espacioso y acordé al ambiente que se desea. El desayuno es variado, y muy rico. Lo único es que alrededor hay mucho ruido en la noche y no deja descansar bien.
I was very impressed!! For the price, it was phenomenal. The view from the terrace isn’t the best, but the pool and chairs are great. Breakfast on the roof is perfect. Excellent service
Lindo hotel ubicado en getsemani barrio antiguo de la ciudad amurallada, habitaciones lindas, cómodas, buen aseo, la piscina cuenta con una vista panorámica de la ciudad
Es muy limpio, me gustó mucho la habitación, tiene muy buenos acabados y el desayuno fue fantástico, también el recepcionista fue muy amable y ágil
O lugar é lindo, tudo muito limpo e confortável. Tomamos café da manhã no hotel por dois dias e achamos que era um valor muito bom para o dinheiro, em comparação com outras opções na área. O melhor da estadia é que sempre tivemos respostas atempadas de todos os funcionários do hotel, (terraço, recepção, limpeza) são muito simpáticos, sempre nos ajudaram em tudo o que precisávamos. O serviço de Yeifer no terraço é o melhor, é um local muito agradável para passar o dia, é tranquilo e está tudo muito limpo. Recomendamos este local 100%.
El lugar es hermoso, todo es muy limpio y cómodo. Tomamos el desayuno en el hotel dos días y nos pareció bastante bueno en relación calidad-precio, si se compara a otras opciones de la zona. Lo mejor de la estadía es que siempre tuvimos respuestas oportunas por parte de todo el personal del hotel, (terraza, recepción, limpieza) son muy amables, siempre nos ayudaron con todo lo que necesitamos. El servicio de Yeifer en la terraza es de lo mejor, es un lugar muy agradable para pasar el día, es tranquilo y todo muy limpio. Recomendamos este lugar 100%.
Pésimo desayuno servido en envase para llevar café incluido y habitaciones sin ventana aunque con AC. El rooftop no está mal pero está muy descuidado.

Espetacular
Llegamos cuando acababan de abrir este nuevo hotel. Las calidades son geniales, con muchos detalles en las habitaciones y un buen desayuno. Aunque no es muy barato, nos encantó el sitio. Eso sí, dos cosas negativas importantes: era imposible dormir porque está al lado de una discoteca con la música a todo volumen en plena madrugada. El agua caliente no funcionaba tampoco.
The hotel is nice and the front desk guy was nice and very accommodating.So why 1 star?I’ll you why.Upon arriving a man greeted me before I could even get out of my cab and offered me help w the local area etc.I was nice as a pushed past him into the hotel.The front desk clerk was nice enough to warn me aboutpeople etc.After showering and getting ready to explore I was very excited.Upon leaving the Hotel the guy came up to me immediately and began pestering me.. following the desk clerk advice I said no thank you no thank you.As soon as I turned the corner from the hotel a different man came up behind us and the tone changed too “we know where you are staying go to the ATM and pay us and there will be no problem”. I was in shock. I refused to go to the ATM but offered to pay them some of the money I had on me.When I returned to the hotel and informed the desk clerk what happened his concern became more about having to call the manager than for my safety whatsoever.I can see why now.The manager is a stingy man who could not careless about his guests.I knew I was no longer safe at this hotel and advise anyone traveling alone to AVOID THIS HOTEL at all costs.I had to book a new airbnb inside the walled city where I was much safer and encountered no more issues for the rest of my trip.Again keep in mind I maybe spent 1 hour of the week I paid for ahead of time in this hotel.I contact the manager and tried to be civil about it and he refused to refund me + told me to take it up with Airbnb, blocked my ability to review them on the Airbnb app to warn other solo travelers of what happened to me.I am writing my story here first and going to write it on every other travel app now.Book somewhere inside the walled city as the owner of this place is just as much a crook as the people he allows to hang outside his place and pester his guests.Cartagena is a beautiful city but stay far away from this hotel.
Well it looks very stylish and it is clean and hascomfortable beds. And it has a nice rooftop and pool. It is also located close to major attractions and restaurants.BUT: it is not anything near a 4* experience. The water and toilets did not work for 8h during the day in the entire hotel (not a very nice experience with the heat and the urge to shower), the staff was totally overwhelmed and unfriendly at times (the receptionist who checked us in was great, her colleagues less so) and the breakfast was sub-par. The rooms are kind of small and there are no closets or room to put things in the bathroom (just why?!). And speaking of the bathroom, there was no hot water during our entire stay (maybe they just don't have hot water).And for that it is just too expensive. Not just the room rate but also drinks, laundry, etc. And considering the breakfast was a joke, I would only recommend it if the price is less than $40 a night.
For a 4 star hotel, we were expecting a WAY better experience! During our whole stay, there was no warm water in our room (they kept on saying that they would fix it but all 3 nights we showered cold - not acceptable for a 4 star pricey hotel). The toilet also wasn’t flushing properly and we had to call for maintenance several times.The rooms are not big but the bed was comfy and in general everything was clean. We didn’t get toiletries refills (shower gel and shampoo) and always had to ask for an extra fresh towel as they only placed one in the room (even though we were two guests).The rooftop area were the pool is is quite nice, you have a nice view of the fortress. The music that is playing in the rooftop area is too loud and not adequate for creating a nice atmosphere.The breakfast was poor - 2 choices of fruits, some small pastries and 8 different salty egg dishes (what about pancakes or waffles?) - generally a very poor buffet, as we ended up grabbing breakfast elsewhere the rest of our stay.Regarding the staff, the manager and other staff were very friendly and tried to help us with our problems but there isn’t much you can do if the facilities just aren’t working properly...Overall, not a 4 star hotel like it might appear from the exterior (more like a 2.5 star hotel). We were very disappointed...
