Unfortunately, we only spent one night at The Editory Riverside Santa Apolónia Hotel. This is a spectacular hotel and was once the offices for the railroad company, the rooms are spacious, clean and very well appointed but the hallways to the room take you to a place of elegance.
We had drinks and breakfast in the hotel bar and the staff were exception as was the quality of the food. The front-desk and bell staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
We jumped on a train the next morning to Porto and it doesn't get more convenient than a five minute walk into the train station. We will stay longer on our next trip to Lisbon.

The rooms are newly renovated, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
The staff is great, Ribeiro from the front desk was kind, caring and gave me great recommendations. The kitchen staff prepared a special vegan pasta for me too:)
The location is good, next to the river, near restaurants and not too far from downtown.
My room had a lovely river view.
I do wish they had more vegan options that have some kind of protein in them (tofu, lentils).

Room is great. Very clean. Bathroom is modern and upscale. The only intolerable thing is that you can hear the train beneath the room. It shakes our entire room with a great rumble every half hour or so. We actually thought there was an earthquake the first time we heard it. I'm surprised no one in the comments mentioned it, or we would be avoiding the hotel. Maybe it's because they assigned us towards the end of the hallway, which made it an exceptionally noisy room?

We stayed here for 8 nights and loved it. The hotel is located 10-15 minutes outside the old town but we never felt unsafe walking in, even late at night. There are several lovely restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel is on a busy and noisy main road but with the double glazed windows it wasn't an issue. Also because of sound proofing you could hardly hear any of the noise from the train station underneath the hotel.
The breakfasts are amazing with so many options available including cooked food, pastries, cereals, fruits, cheeses & meats. They even make fried eggs and omlettes to order if you ask.
The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The only slight nitpick I would have is the fact that our room was made up every day and the towels replaced. It seems like a waste of energy when we could have reused our towels for a second day.
Overall we would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Lisbon.

¡Qué experiencia tan increíble en este hotel! El personal fue muy amable y acogedor, nos ofreció una bebida gratis en el bar y nos actualizó a una habitación doble con vista al río. El hotel en sí es uno de los más hermosos que he visto en mi vida, si te gusta tomar fotografías, tendrás muchas oportunidades para hacerlo, cada detalle fue pensado. La habitación también era genial, la cama súper cómoda y, de hecho, la vista era increíble. La televisión tenía muchos canales, aunque poder conectarse a Netflix hubiera sido una ventaja. Y el baño tenía un tamaño perfecto, pero la puerta era ligeramente transparente, lo que no brinda mucha intimidad, pero logramos que funcionara. Solo tomamos una copa en el bar, pero vale la pena una visita. Y la ubicación era perfecta, de hecho caminamos a todos lados desde allí.

Such an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, offering us a free drink at the bar and upgrading us to a river view double room. The hotel itself is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, if you like taking pictures you'll have plenty of opportunities to do so, every detail was thought out. The room was great too, the bed super comfy, and indeed the view was amazing. The TV had lots of channels, although being able to connect to Netflix would have been a plus. And the bathroom was perfectly sized, but the door was slightly transparent which doesn't give a lot of intimacy but we made it work. We only had a drink at the bar, but it's worth a visit. And the location was perfect, we actually walked everywhere from there.

Fui con mi familia a pasar tres noches y visitar Lisboa. El hotel en sí es impresionante, hay más de 2 personas en la recepción (trato muy agradable y te ayudan en todo). Tiene gym bastante completo, bar/restaurante muy bonito y las habitaciones bastante grandes.Un día fuimos a comer al restaurante y nos sirvieron platos de revista. Mientras comes puedes ver a los cocineros preparar los platos. Cada menú son 20/25€ contando entrantes, plato y postre.La ubicación deja que desear por la zona en la que se encuentra, ya que hay casas en muy mal estado a su alrededor. Por la noche aconsejo ir en metro o taxi. Esta a 10/15 minutos andando del centro en sí.Volvería otra vez al hotel ya que nos dieron una estancia inmejorable.

The best hotel in Lisbon. It deserves every single penny. From where I should start, the smiling from the Mr.Pedro vale when he saw me for the first time and welcome me. Mr. Pedro has a very nice attitude to everyone around him. He was making sure that I am happy. He was treating me like I am in his house. I love everything in this hotel. It was near from everything. Not to mention their breakfast and dinner 🥘. The hotel 🏨 is exceeded my expectations. The furniture is antique and classic. This hotel makes exploring around easy for me.

Este es un hotel súper agradable. Nos quedamos más de una semana, al principio teníamos una habitación interior (no en la calle). La cama, el baño y el espacio eran más grandes que la habitación con balcón al exterior. Cuando cambiamos a tener una vista y un balcón, se podía escuchar el tren pasar debajo de ti. No es muy ruidoso, pero hace vibrar un poco la habitación. - el interior es mejor.El personal es joven y dinámico, pero a las chicas del restaurante les vendría bien un poco más de formación. Mucha confusión y percances. Asegúrese de ser súper claro en sus órdenes.Al final lo disfrutamos <3

We spent several nights at the Editory Riverside recently, due to a last-minute vacation rental snafu (part of the adventures of travel!). The Editory is a wonderful boutique style hotel in a fabulous location in/near the Alfama neighborhood. The rooms are extremely comfortable and nicely sized, and they are equipped with pod coffee makers, hot pots, a refrigerator, complimentary beverages, and ample outlets and USB charge ports. We had a beautiful river view room that was much quieter than I expected. The metro and a train station are right below the hotel, which is also walkable to many cafes and city sights (some might be consider them longish walks, but it was truly delightful to wander the Lisbon streets). The hotel cafe was nice, and it was open for a delicious late night snack and cocktail upon our arrival. The hotel staff were warm, inviting, friendly, and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay at the Editory again, and I highly recommend it for your Lisbon stay.

This is a super nice hotel.
We stayed for over a week - we had a room interior (not on the street) at first. The bed, bathroom and space were bigger than the room with the balcony on the exterior.
When we switched to have a view and balcony - you could hear the train come under you.. It is not super loud but it vibrates the room a bit. - the interior is better.
The staff are young and vibrant but the restaurant girls could use a bit more training. Lots of confusion and mishaps. Be sure to be super clear on your orders.

Beautiful modern and comfortable hotel, on the major transportation lines for Lisbon. Not in easy walking distance from many of the downtown sites we wanted to visit, but with trains, trolleys and taxis, it's a very easy city to get around. Great breakfast, great restaurant and wonderful staff.

Desde os detalhes arquitetônicos ao atendimento ao cliente a prestação do hotel é sublime. Por ser 5 estrelas, esperava-se que tivesse alguns destes de bem estar serviços sauna, jacuzzi, piscina e etc. Mas, a ausência não retira o mérito ao hotel e a história sobre estações que se afirmou contar!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The building has so much charm and character being converted from an historic Lisbon Train Station. The rooms were very art deco / minimal design and the services provided were to a very high standard.
If you’re exploring Lisbon on foot, this is the perfect place to stay as the current Santa Apollonia train and metro station is virtually downstairs which mean you can leave the hotel and depart for your destination within seconds. I’d also like to point out that although the trains are blow the hotel, we could barely feel or hear them moving so they won’t disturb your sleep.
The bar and restaurant are chilled out and stylish. A nice place to relax and plan your day. The food was very top notch.
The staff were so friendly + helpful and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all of our friends.

Incrível a adaptação de parte da estação de Santa Apolonia num Hotel 5 estrelas. Sem perder a história do edifício, pelo contrário valorizando-a, conseguiu-se um ambiente com o conforto que hoje exigimos. Vale a pena passar por lá, nem que seja para apenas experimentar o restaurante/bar. A voltar e desfrutar.
