This place is the meaning of "home away from home". I enjoyed every bit of the experience. It is one of the few places where you get more than you paid for. The staff and customer service was excellent, it seemed like they received their training directly from the angles in heaven. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the place. If they keep up this pace no other resort or water park will be in business. I look forward to going there again. The hospitality was flawless.

Usually me and the family drive all the way to the Poconos for Great wolf or Kalahari, but little did we know that 1 hour from our house was this great location. All the familiar amenities the other places have, but a lot closer and just as good. The day we went it was virtually empty but eventually throughout the day filled up. The family had fun and that's all that mattered. Will definitely go again in the near future

I booked the birthday party package. It was not worth the extra money. The directions to the party room was not smooth. The water park is designed beautifully and the kids had a blast. The temperature was really humid and waiting in line with no air was rough. Besides that I recommend staying here.

I had booked an event here with Danielle Schwartz who was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I and everyone in my group found the resort and facilities to be exceptional. Check-in was seamless and most of us were even able to get into our rooms early. The event we had was great and the staff was super attentive throughout our stay. I highly recommend The Kartrite for both family fun and any event needs.

This review is long overdue. My family and I have been visiting the Kartrite since it first opened in 2019.
Our most recent visit was in March 2022, for our son’s birthday. I normally don’t write reviews, but feel the manager Mr. McLeod deserves recognition for his outstanding customer service, accommodating our family during our last stay. It is good to know that there are still individuals who are compassionate and made our family stay and son’s birthday extra special.

First off, the resort is very clean. The place itself is very new, the rooms are spacious and very well designed. Comfortable beds. The heating/AC unit is very noisy, that would be my only complaint about the room. The water park is amazing. The crew is very well trained to make sure guests dont get hurt in the water park. My other complaint is about quality and price of food. The breakfast buffet was very bad. We paid 80$ for 3 persons and the only thing we found that tasted good were the pancakes. There shouldbe more than one option for food be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. The quality of the food is very poor. The waiters were great and very friendly, but quality of food needs to change.Otherwise we will definitely come back as my son loved the water park, just next time we will bring our own food for breakfast as each room comes with a fridge. For dinner we will find something outside of the resort.We are looking forward for our future stays at the park.

Staff are super nice.The water park area is wonderful and the perfect size for my 5yo.The hotel area looks nice and clean. A little attention to detail could be used.Little things like the bath soap and shampoo bottles being empty when we walked in.

We love the Kartrite and have visited 3 times. Everything is clean, food is good, and our kids love the water park and arcade. However, we were disappointed with our stay this week. The place is short-staffed and parts of the water park are closed like the lazy river, which is our daughter’s favorite attraction. The restaurant and bar in the lobby area are also closed, making the one restaurant serving people overwhelmed and they are struggling to accommodate the amount of people. On top of this, they jacked up the prices for the week of winter break. I don’t see how they can charge $550/night for a room with half the water park closed? Our room was big enough to sleep 6 people and it only came with 2 bath towels and no sheets or quilts on the bunk beds. When you call the front desk, no one answers. They ran out of things too like ice cream? The staff that does work there is very friendly and helpful. I just wish they could hire more people to keep the place afloat. When I asked why parts of the water park were closed, I was told they don’t have enough lifeguards. Maybe paying them more would help a little? Either way, if major parts of the water park can’t operate, they should not charge extra for the week of winter break, it’s not right! I’d really like to see this place succeed because it has great potential.

My stay at Kartrite was definitely fun and enjoyable! The rooms were very clean and well decorated. The staff were very nice, and helpful during our stay; always treated the kids nice. The park was very clean and well maintained as well. The kids enjoyed all the rides, including the arcade!The only thing I might suggest is buying some snacks for the room as we did. The food on site at the Hotel is good but very expensive and most places close outside of town earlier than you might want.

The resort is nice, especially for kids. The water park is fun, clean and well maintained. We got there Thursday evening so we could spend all day on Friday at the water park, only to find out that half of the activity pools were closed, so the little kids pool and the heated pool were way overcrowded. Also some of the arcade machines were not working, some out of tickets. It was very disappointing. On Saturday they opened all the pools, at least we got to experience one full day of activities. They did offer us a free day at the water park, but it’s not worth it for us to drive all the way from Brooklyn just for a few hours at the water park and then drive back. The rooms are very nice, spacious and clean. But we had to follow the cleaning people around to get fresh towels and toilet paper. The room was never cleaned or replenished until we left on Sunday. Also there’s not much food choices. The food is way overpriced for the quality, I’ve never eaten that much fried food in my life.

We spent some time planning on a place to go with the family, and The Kartrite and it's staff delivered an excellent experience.The modern aesthetics, attention to detail, and care in customer service, helped to elevate our visit.Offering daily activities for families, shows they know their guest and want them to enjoy their visit.Definitely well worth the time and money.The staff was incredibly friendly, from the Front Desk, Water Park, Arcade, Housekeeping, and to the Concierge.There is a clear focus:To make their guests visit as enjoyable as possible.

Overall this is a decent place especially for families. The water park is fairly small but they are building more rides. Best time to visit was on Thursday and Friday as those had the smallest crowds. The rides they have are fun and the heated pool is very nice in the winter. The negative: in many ways this place is not up to my standards of a nice resort. The showers in the water park only have a body wash no shampoo or conditioner and the towels then give you are very small and thin. There were multiple issues with my room. The fitted sheet had a hole in it, bed was comfy but the quilt was thin and sandwiched between two sheets instead of in a duvet. Room was not properly restocked, tissue box was almost empty and the body wash in the room was completely empty. Worst of all the toilet paper was some of the worst I have ever experienced. I was also charged two long distance calls just trying to call down to room service/concierge. No one was at the desk and they forwarded the call to a person off-site. There are plenty of restaurants a short drive away so you can avoid the overpriced food in the resort.
