Estamos visitando fora da cidade. Parado no bar para bebidas, não havia lugar para sentar, então o barman nos disse que havia outro bar na parte de trás com outra área de estar. Fizemos o que sugerimos, fomos até o fundo e nos sentamos a uma mesa. Fomos abordados por uma anfitriã DESAGRADÁVEL que nos disse que não poderíamos sentar lá (ok, tudo bem), então ela nos mudou para outra mesa. Pouco depois, um anfitrião da NASTIER nos disse que precisávamos de uma reserva e só poderíamos ficar por 30 minutos. Meu filho tentou explicar o que tinha acontecido, ele o desconsiderou e disse: “Não importa o que aconteceu, você tem até as 19h” e aí você precisa ir embora. Mesmo? Sórdido desagradável! Saímos imediatamente! Tenho ficado e jantei em hotéis 5 estrelas em todo o mundo e nunca fui insultado desta forma! E na frente de um bar cheio de gente! Foi muito difícil explicar de maneira muito simpática e profissional que não podíamos sentar naquela área do bar. Somos de fora da cidade! Não sabia! Por favor, obtenha algum treinamento para aquelas hostess rudes desagradáveis !!!! Isso aconteceu esta noite por volta das 6:30.

We’re visiting out of town. Stopped by the bar for drinks, there was no place to seat, so the bartender told us there was another bar on the back with another seating area. We did as suggested, walked to the back, sat down at a table. We were approached by a NASTY hostess that told us we couldn’t seat there (ok fine) so she moved us to another table. Shortly afterwards a NASTIER man host told us we needed a reservation and we could only stay for 30 mns. My son tried to explain what had happened, he disregarded him, and told him “I don’t care what happened, you have until 7pm” and then you need to leave. Really? Nasty nasty! We left right away! I have stayed and dined at 5 star hotels all over the world and have never been insulted this way! And in front of an entire bar full of people! How hard was to explain very nicely and professionally that we could not seat in that area of the bar. We’re from out of town! Didn’t know!Please, get some training for those nasty rude hostesses!!!! This happened this evening around 6:30.

Estávamos viajando pela primeira vez para Nova York de fora da cidade, não ficamos neste hotel, mas certamente gostaríamos - paramos no concierge para pedir uma recomendação de brunch e, embora não fôssemos hóspedes, o atendente da portaria, Vinmoor, encontrou um lugar para nós e até ligou para fazer uma reserva para nós. Ele foi tão gentil e realmente foi acima e além de nós tanto que eu simplesmente tive que escrever uma crítica delirante sobre ele. Que cara legal!

This hotel is situated in a prime location of New York. Services are good. The only downside for me is the lifts takes too long to get to you at times. Don't be surprised to wait for more than 5 minutes to get into the lift

We were traveling for the first time to NYC from out of town, we didn’t stay at this hotel but sure wish we did — we stopped by the concierge desk to ask for a recommendation for brunch and even though we weren’t guests, the concierge attendant, Vinmoor, found us a spot and even called to book a reservation for us. He was so kind and really went above and beyond for us so much so that I just had to write a raving review about him. What a great guy!

This review is for the bar only, which charges a cool $25 for an unremarkable cocktail, served by indifferent wait staff, in surroundings that are reminiscent of a down-at-heel night club c.1985. We had to ask for cocktail napkins to soak up the moisture from our sweating glasses, remind the waitperson about a request for water, and when our request for cocktail nuts was declined -- they don't serve them -- we ordered a side of fries which were hot and crispy but undercooked. A forgettable experience and one that I will not be repeating. It is a dispiriting feature of some NYC venues that a hefty price tag is equated with quality and service, both of which are lacking here. When the Bar Pleiades at The Surrey re-opens (and let's hope it does), go there instead. Same neighborhood, but light years away.

Recentemente, fui convidado para um fim de semana discreto “Staycation” com meus 2 melhores amigos, em homenagem ao meu casamento que se aproximava. Fomos tratados com cuidado desde o momento em que nos registramos. A equipe deste hotel é de primeira linha - a melhor da classe, sem dúvida. A melhor parte? Eles aceitam cachorros (um eufemismo - eles trataram meu chihuahua como a rainha que ele é), incluindo um menu para cães do restaurante Jean-Georges no local. 10/10 vai ficar novamente. Amo este lugar e seu povo. Devo também referir que a equipe de arrumação foi adorável.

I was a recent guest for a low-key weekend “Staycation” with my 2 best friends, in honor of my upcoming wedding.
We were treated with care from the moment we checked in. The staff of this hotel is top top top notch — best in class, undoubtedly.
The best part? They’re dog friendly (an understatement — they treated my Chihuahua like the queen that she is) including a dog menu by their on-site Jean-Georges restaurant.
10/10 will stay again. Love this place and its people.
I should also mention that the housekeeping staff was lovely.

A fantastic meal at a reasonable price. We ate outside during the winter months during the pandemic. The tables were well spaced with individual heat lamps over each table. The entire service staff complied with wearing masks at all times. Menus were paperless, the food was delicious and came out quickly. The best part of the meal, however, was the exceptional service. Our waiter, Zach, was incredibly professional and attentive. Paul, the manager, ensured that we were having the best experience possible. Our favorite restaurant has continued its excellence during these difficult times. I will gladly return and utilize its indoor dining as things return to normal.

Bom, mas não vale o preço que cobra. Embora tenha uma ótima localização e uma gerente muito boa, o hotel é caro para o que oferece, e a hostes do café da manhã tem que fazer um curso se simpatia. Além disso, se você quiser ou precisar de um serviço de quarto, seja paciente para esperar de 5 a 10 minutos para que atendam sua ligação. Além disso, a comida do quarto não condiz com a fama do restaurante. Enfim, ainda não achei o hotel ideal de NYC.

Magnifico hotel con magnifico servicio. Todo da gusto en este hotel. Te ayudan a todo y estan encantados de resolver tus problemas. La habitacion de tamaño genial. Cama genial. Facilities genial. Solo dos peros....ruidosa - le hace falta otro aislamiento en la ventana y se oye todo el traqueteo de la calle que no es poco y el segundo es la nevera de la habitación; parece una locomotora a vapor. Por la noche la apagamos y listo.

Una gran desilusión. Esperaba mucho más!! Las instalaciones están muy bien, los cuartos súper completos pero le falta calidad y delicadeza para contener a los huéspedes del Hotel Mi experiencia es que están más atentos al funcionamiento del bar y el restaurante que los pasajeros que se hospedan allí. Como Hotel es un bar muy caro!!
