Fiquei depois que o bloqueio da Covid foi suspenso. O quarto não estava pronto a tempo, portanto, o check-in foi adiado. O quarto não estava bem limpo. Além disso, a chave do quarto que eles emitiram não funcionou, então tivemos que obter uma chave de substituição. É um hotel de orçamento, por isso não esperava muito de qualquer maneira.

I stayed after the Covid lockdown was lifted. Room was not ready in time therfore check in was delayed. The room was not well cleaned. Plus the room key they issued did not work so had to get a replacement key. It is a budget hotel so didn't expect much anyway.

Totalmente sacudido y quizás tuvo su mejor momento hace años. Habíamos reservado una habitación superior dos veces durante tres semanas. Lo que nos ofrecieron es una ruina total que necesita una renovación desde cero. Moho, muebles defectuosos, ventanas que no se pueden cerrar ni abrir, manchas en la alfombra, papel tapiz que se está despegando, ropa de cama sucia y un hedor indescriptible. Huimos del alojamiento y buscamos un nuevo hotel. La única estrella solo porque tiene que ser.

Totalmente abalado e talvez tenha tido seu auge anos atrás. Tínhamos reservado um quarto superior duas vezes durante três semanas. O que nos foi oferecido é uma ruína total que precisa de uma renovação a partir do zero. Mofo, móveis defeituosos, janelas que não podem ser fechadas nem abertas, manchas no carpete, papel de parede descascando, roupa de cama suja e um fedor indescritível. Tínhamos fugido do alojamento e procurado um novo hotel. A única estrela apenas porque tem que ser.

I managed to get booked in last minute on a friday. At around 9:45pm I returned to my hotel room and could hear the couple across the hall extremely loudly. As time went on and they got louder I eventually rang reception and asked to be moved rooms. The man at reception said not to worry and he would speak to the couple. I then could overhear the manager (very politely) asking the couple to keep the noise down. Once the manager had left the couple came out of their room, walked up & down the hallway trying to figure out who in what room had complained. This was very intimadating for a 25 year old female staying alone. They then continued to scream and shout in the next room. This was around 22:45.
I then rang reception again and asked to be moved rooms which the receptionist was happy to accommodate.
While exiting the room the couple I had complained about then followed me down the hallway and were making remarks over myself to eachother. I was genuinely shook up & physically shaking by the time I got to reception. I then explained what had happened & asked for a refund as I did not feel comfortable staying there any longer. The receptionist tried to explain that the couple were on a business trip to do with the NHS. I work closely with the NHS myself and would not dream of following a perfect stranger down a hallway with my other half after recieving a noise complaint. It was quite frankly thuggish.
The receptionist was very accommodating throughout however and refunded me as soon as I asked.
I'm assuming I just had a very unfortunate experience with the other guests but I was genuinely shook up after the experience & left at gone 11pm in the evening looking for alternative accommodation on a Friday evening.
Not a great experience although through no fault of the hotel staff. Hotel was clean & comfy, staff were very polite, hence the 2 stars.

Um lugar encantador do lado de fora, já esteve em seu apogeu, mas não agora. O interior é muito antigo, o serviço era bom durante o check-in. Disseram-nos o quarto 105, para subir as escadas pela porta - ok. Acabamos tendo que passar pela porta rotulada "200-215". O carpete do quarto era muito velho e havia uma camada de poeira espessa ao redor do tapete. Molduras de portas, peitoris de janelas e rodapés cheios de poeira. Não há sacos de chá no quarto, apenas 1 xícara e a mesa de cabeceira estava coberta com uma chaleira. O banheiro parecia não ter sido limpo com os cabelos de alguém ainda na pia - atrevo-me a olhar no vaso sanitário. Voltei lá embaixo e aconselhou a administração. Ele ofereceu outro quarto e disse que eles tinham os quartos "profundamente limpos". Não há como aquele quarto ter sido limpo profundamente! Recebemos um reembolso total e o gerente saiu furioso. Generosa revisão de 2 estrelas, mas recomendo fortemente contra ficar aqui.

Un lugar encantador desde el exterior, estuvo una vez en su apogeo, pero no ahora. El interior está muy anticuado, el servicio estuvo bien mientras nos registramos. Nos dijeron que la habitación 105, que subiéramos por la puerta, estaba bien. Terminamos teniendo que pasar por la puerta etiquetada "200-215". La alfombra de la habitación era muy vieja y había un borde de polvo espeso alrededor de la alfombra. Marcos de puertas, alféizares y rodapiés llenos de polvo. No había bolsitas de té en la habitación, solo 1 taza y la mesita de noche estaba vestida con una tetera. El baño parecía como si no lo hubieran limpiado con los pelos de alguien todavía en el lavabo; no me atrevo a mirar en el inodoro. Volví a bajar y asesoré a la gerencia. Ofreció otra habitación y dijo que habían "limpiado profundamente" las habitaciones. ¡No hay forma de que esa habitación haya sido limpiada profundamente! Recibimos un reembolso completo y el gerente se fue furioso. Generosa revisión de 2 estrellas, pero recomendaría encarecidamente no alojarse aquí.

Lovely looking place from the outside, was once in its heyday but not now. The inside is very dated, the service was okay whilst checking in. We were told room 105, to go upstairs through the door - okay. We ended up having to go through the door labelled "200-215". The carpet in the room was very old and there was a border of thick dust around the rug. Door frames, windowsills and skirting boards thick with dust. No tea bags in the room, only 1 cup and the bedside table was dressed with a kettle. The bathroom looked as though it hadn't been cleaned with someone's hairs still in the sink - I darent look in the toilet. Went back downstairs & advised management. He offered another room and said that they have the rooms "deep cleaned". There is no way that room was deep cleaned! We received a full refund and the manager stormed off. Generous 2 star review but would strongly recommend against staying here.

WIFI in room not working, shampoo containers empty, no coffee in tray, little room-room insulation but the worst aspect is the number of anti-social semi-permanent residents hanging about corridors smoking cannabis, drinking and being very antisocial. As a paying customer and key worker I would have expected the hotel management to at least designate rooms away from them rather than in the same corridor. It's a first for me to be woken up by the strong stench of cannabis up my nostrils and coming from the rooms next door. Best avoid at all costs.
