Served and seated straight away. Came here for Sunday Lunch. Really nice! I liked the fact that staff were always floating around Incase you needed anything. The place itself is beautiful. Plenty of seating areas! We sat in the outside area, in the tent area. It had beautiful lights all around, stunning! Will be back hopefully soon

Can't recommend this place enough. The room was beyond our expectations, especially for the price. It's dog friendly too and unlike some dog friendly places they were more than happy for the dog to be off the lead and have a good sniff about, also the dog was allowed in the restaurant/bar area.
The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, very helpful and nothing was too much to ask for.
The location is just on the outskirts of Whitby, with a park and ride literally across the road, so it's perfect to park up, drop your stuff off and head for a bus to the town.
The hotel is part of a chain with Inn Collections and we will be using them again, and will 100% be staying at the Stables again.
They are due to close for a refurb at the end of the month so the food menu wasn't on fully, but the food we got was delicious and the potions were enormous.
Highly recommended!

Ate here because it was nearby, but wouldn't go back I'm sorry to say. The food was ok - nothing special. My steak pie was frankly tiny and came with a lot of crust and not much filling. Being truthful, the menu is sparse and the prices are on the top side of adequate. Sorry, but for me, you've got to do better than this if you want good reviews and repeat custom.

We didn’t stay at The Stables but we were nearby and decided to go there for a meal. On arrival we loved the decor of the restaurant and that it was dog friendly although we didn’t have our dog with us.
Unfortunately the food did not match up the goats cheese starter was lovely but over priced for two small balls of cheese. The mains were greasy and the chips tasted funny! I did mention this to the staff and asked them to check with the kitchen and was advised it was just vegetable oil.
We were disappointed to go away having spent £65 and not having been able to eat our main meals.

The Stables is so comfortable, from the rooms to the atmosphere we has a great few days.
All the staff are a credit to the managers nothing is too much trouble, it’s hard to find hotels that are so hands on and willing to make your stay all about you.
We stayed bed and breakfast, the breakfast which is cooked fresh for you and tasted amazing, compliments to the chef as they went above and beyond for a very fussy customer ( Eggs Benedict, I know I’ve left a lasting impression 😂) . We had dinner 1 of the nights and again plenty of choice.
Would definitely recommend this hotel, not far from Whitby for sight seeing.
