It is difficult to recommend this hotel. There is no kettle/fridge in the rooms. The wireless internet disconnects every few hours. No Westin-heavenly beds here either. The thin pillows were lumpy and they only provide two miserable single duvets for a Grand Premium king size room. Worst of all, on a snowy Leipzig weekend, the "hot" water was lukewarm at best. You will have to pay an additional 10 euros per night to use their gym/spa.
The overworked staff are trying the best they can but we had to queue 10-20 mins just to check in and out during this holiday season.

Not a good experience. Very old and outdated hotel. Line to checkin was about 10 people and the staff apologized. They said they were short staffed. No room service and only one restaurant was open. I'm an elite loyalty member and there was no recognition of that. The room was supposed to be a king bed but it was two single put together. Marriott needs to evaluate this management company.

The worst Marriott property I’ve ever stayed at. Twin beds, not a king. Horrible pillows. No air conditioning, nothing in the room, no coffee, no tea. There aren’t even electrical outlets in the room. Would never stay here again.

What I assume is an old Soviet/DDR building. The room was spartan in the late DDR style. The sauna and pool a wonder on 80’s architecture full of multiple levels and a complex wooden ceiling. No towels or any ammenities in the room, but included a fridge. Friendly and happy staff. Was happy to stay.

The Good: Friendly, professional staff, good location and nice view. Bed was comfortable, plenty of closet space and an in-room safe. 5 min walk to the Brühl mall, and 10 to the market, and also 5 away from the train station.
The Bad: Only gave me one blanket, which was too small for both me and the bed. Had to ask for another. I also forgot my room card when visiting the gym and they charged 1/5 of what I spent for a night. Absurd and ridiculous fee. The gym is also just 6 cardio machines, one sad "does everything" machine (pulldowns, 'bench press' etc) that doesn't even measure the weight being used, and a couple dumbells. Literally it's just enough so they can say they have a fitness area and be eligible for the extra star, without actually having a suitable facility. The room's floor was covered in dust that the cleaners seemed to always miss and I'm not sure where it came from. Also killed 2 ants on my last night there. Also, the shower seemed to leak a lot no matter what.
