We went to Varu on year end. Boy! what an experience.. We had 2 water villas with Pool in the Dolphin bay. The villas are artfully decorated with a big bathroom and attached pool. Our booking was all inclusive and it really was that. we enjoyed unlimited cocktails. The food is also amazing. The new year gala dinner was beyond description. My video covering the food stall is whopping 3 mins long. New year entertainment was kind of OK. The staff is friendly and courteous. They even arranged screen as my son needed it for his work. Only negative I can think of is their water sports. Non mechanical sports were not many and staff was not very keen on helping with it too. But overall an amazing experience!!! We are keen to revisit again and again..

Where to start. This is my 2nd trip to the Maldives and I can confidently say that Varu is truly amazing. We had very high expectations for this holiday and it exceeded all of them. The staff treated us like rock stars and could not do though for us. Jay our housekeeper was fantastic and really looked after us. The food, staff, facilities are all 5*. We would love to go again and we have no hesitation in recommending this resort.
One of the best vacations I ever had. All staff without exception are very friendly. Congratulations for the management to have such engaged employees.
Service took most of the credit, excellent service from every staff member, delicious food( specially for vegetarian also there are lot of options available. The water villas are fabulous, you can see beautiful marine life in the lagoon..
The resort and the facilities are really good . The water villa was really well setup and nice to stay in . However the hospitality is a mixed bag . Most of the staff are really pleasant and some like Shubh at lime and chili restaurant go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Sadly we faced couple of instances where the housekeeping staff were simply rude. This is not acceptable for a resort that says to be providing 5 star service . This kind of behavior destroys the overall experience.
The Resort has awesome amenties and services are best. The whole vibe is different.... Kudos yo each and every staff of Varu.. A must visit place
Absolutely incredible!! It's one of the best resorts I've ever been to. Very organized from the moment you reach the airport and they pick you up in their luxurious speed boat to the last moment of saying goodbye. A great thing that they offer to take a PCR swab for you, if the country you're going to requesting that but you just need to inform the reception and they will manage it. I recommend to take all inclusive reservation so you can enjoy your stay to the max. All and all, it was a great time and a really good stay at VARU, if you're looking for an unforgettable time definitely choose Varu.
Fomos de lua de mel e ficamos super satisfeitos. Desde o dia que chegamos ficamos muito bem impressionados. O cuidado com os quartos (limpeza 2x ao dia), qualidade e variedade das refeições, simpatia dos colaboradores, atividades incluídas e TI Premium fizeram com que os dias fossem mágicos! Super recomendo este resort, ideal também para famílias com crianças.
Las instalaciones están cuidadas, el personal es muy amable, gran actividades incluidas además de una gran oferta de restauración. De lo mejor Saamy, el instructor de las excursiones de snorkel.
Es la primera vez que veníamos a Maldivas, pero este resort nos ha parecido una maravilla, las playas, qué piscinas... Es todo incluido, y hay noches temáticas, así como tres restaurantes especiales, el bar también es muy agradable. La gente es muy amable, todos tienen una sonrisa, y da gusto ir a cualquier lado porque siempre te ayudan. Hemos quedado encantados con las excursiones que nos hicieron, una para contemplar las estrellas en medio del mar, otra para pescar al atardecer, y el snorkel donde pudimos ver una tortuga y manta raya. No tuvimos tanta suerte con el tiempo, pues hacía mucho viento y no pudimos hacer más excursiones de snorkel, pero estoy segura de que hubiesen sido geniales. Hemos pasado la mejor luna de miel de la historia. ¡Gracias por todo!
Espectacular. Todos los detalles están pensados. El huésped/cliente solo tiene que preocuparse disfrutar.
The room allocation took almost 3 hours after our arrival. They will have lounge for waiting, but they will not tell us and make us to wait in hot sun after long journey. Water villa are cleaned daily but water villa with pool are not at all cleaned and nobody cares about it. Need to walk in hot sun everytime, they will not provide buggy at all even after requesting multiple times. Very bad hospitality
Excellent vacation. Kaage is the Maldive restaurant and a must try when visiting. Food is excellent. The staff is courteous. 5 star service.
Paisagens exuberantes combinando com as ótimas acomodações, o que fazem do local o melhor lugar do mundo para se curtir em casal, comidas, doces e bebidas ótimas, para não dizer q é 100% falta só atividades em conjunto para animar os hóspedes, o lounge bar é uma negação como entretenimento e da um certo trabalho para achar o drink certo.

Llevamos 3 meses esperando que devuelvan el dinero de una cancelación gratuita, cada semana nos dicen que esta semana esta solucionado y nada de nada... es una pena que un hotel de estas características tenga este servicio de atención tan pésimo.
Sin duda un lugar espectacular. La atención al cliente es extremadamente cuidada y te hacen sentir muy especial. Son muy atentos. El buffet tiene variada y rica comida. Las vistas son espectaculares y disponen de muchos rincones para hacer fotos para recordar. La habitación en el agua con piscina te convierte la estancia en el siguiente nivel. Solo algo a destacar negativo: que no te puedes quedar a vivir aquí....
Realizamos una reserva en el hotel pagando el 100% por avanzado con cancelación gratuita los 7 días previos.15 días antes de nuestro viaje mi pareja y yo estuvimos con Covid y por precaución tomamos la decisión de anular el viaje 10 días antes del víaje y tal y como especifica su normativa tomamos la decisión de cancelar la reserva en Varu. Aquí empezarón los problemas...Desde entonces cada día recibimos una respuesta dando largas... primero que las devoluciones tardan entre 15 y 20 días, pasados los 20 días nos dicen que el banco solo abre un par de días a la semana debido al Covid 19... y que van a tardar entre 25 y 30 días en realizar la devolución.Ya han pasado 50 días y a fecha de hoy ya no responden los mensajes ni recibimos la devolución de los 2700€ pagados.Es una pena que un hotel de 5 estrellas ofrezca tan mal servicio... planteabamos reorganizar el viaje en octubre pero obviamente descartamos Varu por su mala gestión...MUCHO CUIDADO!!
Ótimas instalações, ótimo o serviço, atendimento exemplar, localização perfeita.
Nos alojamos en una water villa y nos ha encantado. La ubicación es ideal, igual que la intimidad. Repetiriamos sin duda! El personal es muy atento y hay gran variedad de comidas en el restaurante Lime&chilli. La única pega, es que el ambiente por las noches es demasiado tranquilo.
Es un paraíso. Hemos estado una semana increíble en la que nos han cuidado hasta el último detalle. El hotel tiene lo que puedas necesitar para tener tu momento de desconexión. La comida, tanto el buffet libre como los restaurantes especializados, son un espectáculo. La atención al cliente una maravilla. Muy recomendable

An amazing place, you will feel like you have come to heaven. Food, villa amenities, interiors, island, staff and view all were awesome. Mostly Indian staff who are well versed with the gratitude and displaying Indian culture garnished with supreme hospitality. 5/5 stars. ❤️❤️
Great all inclusive resort 40 minute boat ride from the Male airport. Non motorized equipment complimentary. Nice size island with everything about 10-15 walk. Bikes available as an option for getting around as well as golf cart rides.
Brilliant experience so far. Great food, great hospitality, beautiful island. And amazing villas, both beach and water villas. (We stayed in both). Both are luxurious, big, and very hospitable. Would I go again? Yes 10/10.
You can experience various activities at a reasonable price. Staff are helpful upon request. The paid excursions are worthwhile.
I went on a honeymoon and it was my first time to Maldives. It was an amazing experience. The food, the staff, the scenery, everything was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better experience
