What I ordered didn’t taste as great as I thought it would, however the company I was with said their food was yummy and to be fair it looked good. The toffee pudding was also a generous size. I will say however the staff did not come across happy. Not a smile or warm greeting in sight. Maybe it was a tough night??

We booked a table for 8 for our silver wedding anniversary we would be celebrating in November back in August and were told we would be in the conservatory with views over the Dales. Three days before our anniversary we were phoned and told we had been dumped out of there and put into the bar area because a party of 18 were having the conservatory instead. We were most unhappy with this but accepted it. We got to the pub for our meal and ordered some drinks at the bar which was ok, then the waitress came over and hurried us for our order. We hadn't really had any time to look at the menu. The food came and it was fine except one of us asked for mayonnaise and got sour cream, when we had finished they came over quickly to ask if anyone wanted dessert, some of us did and got what we asked for. All good so far, as soon as we had finished it seemed that we were being rushed off our table. We were moved really quickly into the bar area and then someone heard that our table had only been booked for 2 hours and we had to vacate for someone else. We were not told this on the phone when they rang to bump us out of the conservatory and this ruined our anniversary dinner. The staff were very rude to some of our party and the attitude of them stunk.We will never return here and urge others to think twice about visiting for a special occasion. The only reason we gave 2 stars was for the food. Not impressed at all and you don't have a silver anniversary every day.

Called in the Wellington Inn passing through the village and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The food was lovely and despite being busy the service was very prompt. Lovely dining experience and would definitely return.

Pousada tradicional e intacta. Boa comida com excelente escolha de menu, cama confortável, quarto espaçoso. A área do bar parecia um retrocesso no tempo, com pisos de azulejos antiquados e uma enorme lareira, era muito confortável e nostálgica. A refeição noturna foi excelente e café da manhã tão bom. Darley é uma vila bonita e este pub é um ótimo lugar para ficar.

Tivemos um tempo maravilhoso ficar aqui todos os funcionários muito simpáticos e prestativos. Quarto muito agradável com chá e café. Boa e variada escolha de café da manhã. Bela vista se você se sentar no jardim das colinas ao longe. O Wellington pode ficar muito ocupado, então é necessário reservar, mas isso é uma coisa boa, pois você sabe que terá um ótimo tempo e comida.

Posada tradicional virgen. Buena comida con una excelente selección de menú, cama cómoda, dormitorio espacioso. El área del bar se sintió como un paso atrás en el tiempo con pisos de baldosas antiguas y una enorme chimenea, se sintió muy reconfortante y nostálgico. La cena fue excelente y el desayuno tan bueno. Darley es un bonito pueblo y este pub es un gran lugar para alojarse.

Lo pasamos de maravilla alojándome aquí todo el personal muy amable y servicial. Habitación muy bonita con té y café. Buena y variada selección de desayuno. Hermosa vista si te sientas en el jardín de las colinas en la distancia. El Wellington puede estar muy ocupado, por lo que es necesario reservar, pero eso es algo bueno, ya que sabe que lo pasará en grande y disfrutará de la comida.

Had a lovely time staying here all the staff very friendly and helpful. Room very nice with tea and coffee. Good and varied choice of breakfast. Lovely view if you sit in the garden of the hills in the distance. The Wellington can get very busy so need to book but that is a good thing as you know you will have a great time and food.

Traditional, unspoilt Inn. Good food with excellent choice of menu, comfy bed, spacious bedroom. Bar area felt like a step back in time with real old fashioned tiled floors and huge fireplace, felt very comforting and nostalgic. Evening meal was superb and the breakfast just as good. Darley is a pretty village and this pub is a great place to stay.
