This is the place to stay in Carlsbad! Superbly managed and truly clean, we felt comfortable and welcome. King size platform bed with great mattress, freeway noise not an issue because of quality construction, bathroom amenities are the best! We will be back

The room is beautiful. The front desk person was helpful and very nice. Very roomy with microwave and fridge. Rate was excellent. The beds were ok. One had a broken spring or something and every movement made loud noises.

The staff was mixed, some people I talked too were pretty friendly, others not so much. The bed was pretty comfortable to be honest, our shower worked well and the sinks were fine. The main issue I had was one night, I came back to the room at about 10 pm and me and my girlfriend were changing to get ready for bed.. When a total stranger entered the room out of nowhere. I never got to see who this person was as they left after they were spotted. I went down to the front desk to ask who this could have been and how this could have happened and all the man at the desk told me was that it was likely my fault this happened because I must have left the door slightly open for someone to just walk in. I knew that I did not leave the door opened. He didn't bother to check security camera footage to see who this person was, but I spent the rest of that night paranoid that even though I had the dead bolt locked, someone else would still try to enter my room. I also heard a man scream in the halls at about 2:30 am with no explanation. I don't know if it was just an unfortunate circumstance for me, but I no longer felt safe staying here. This was just my experience.

We stayed here September 28th to September 30th, Room 203. The two gentlemen who checked us in were nice, they even said what area I could use to smoke. When we checked in, we were advised of an $100 hold on our card, I assume for incidentals. When we checked out on Friday, September 30th, we noticed they charged us the $100. When my wife called to check why since we left the room pretty much clean, the lady at the front counter responded "the housekeeper stated she smelled smoke in the room". My wife told the lady no one smoked in the room, my husband went outside to smoke. The lady was very rude and accusatory towards my wife and stated someone did smoke in the room. Our stay was a little over $200 to stay for two nights and to accuse us of something that we did not do just to charge us more money, is not okay. We have a lot of family and friends that travel to Oceanside and Carlsbad and we will certainly NEVER recommend staying here as it seems they try to find a way to get more money from you. The lady at the front counter was very unprofessional and rude.

Great Location. Awesome staff who politely answered every question asked.
I asked for the laundry,and the staff took me there himself( not just described) and showed me how to operate the machines.
Each time you pass by the reception,a warm smile met you.
The rooms were neat and tidy and the bathrooms were clean.
The swimming pool was a beauty.
I will recommend this cute hotel to anyone going to Carlsbad.
