Absolutely love this hotel. The staff is so friendly and thoughtful. Carlos from the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. We came to celebrate a birthday and he brought up a hand written card and a gift bag that included a cupcake. Very clean hotel with excellent service. I will definitely be staying here again.

The location was great and the staff were very friendly - would 100% stay again based on my visit September 2022.
Location was ideal; close to the Subway and walking distance to everything Downtown (wall Street, waterfront, freedom tower, etc). My room was clean, felt new, well looked after.

I wanted to start off by stating I don’t typically leave reviews for people that I feel are just sign there job. With that being said I had a most wonderful experience with a front desk woman named Brenda. She not only helped me with difficulties I had during process of checking in but was patient and understanding . Helped with finding me a place to eat as well , difficult it being 2 am but super courteous spoke with an energy that was a nice change of pace from the norm. Hope to run into more workers like her during my travels . Hotel was clean and easy to get to highly recommend .

Stay was from 7/2/22 - 7/6/22 in room 1410.
This hotel lacks basic security and I would recommend that people reconsider bringing valuables or traveling alone if they will be staying here. On the first day over $4,000 in personal items were stolen from our hotel room. When we brought this to the GMs attention she very quickly attempted to defer all responsibility when it comes to her guests general security. She tried to explain that the doors automatically shut and lock, but when I called her to do a lock scan I showed her that you could simply push the door open if it was not slammed prior. Sure the door locks but it does not shut behind you and you have to forcefully pull the door shut in order to have it locked. This situation would have never arrived if the hotel staff adequately informed us of the door issue that they knew of via reviews left prior to our stay (I wish I would have payed better attention to those prior to arriving). Later in the trip after showing the GM the issues with the door on a phone call the GM tried to state that the doors shut and lock behind guests which was a blatant lie after my demonstration to her. Now getting in contact with the insurance company has been a major concern as it has been a week since the incident occurred we have heard nothing from them. If only the GM could provide me with the contact information of the insurance company they go through after asking multiple times things might be smoother.
In short don’t stay here… If you look at the last two months of reviews there is hardly anything good said about this place and there have been multiple times security issues were brought up.

One of the particular reasons my room was booked here was for the rooftop bar.
I always dress well. Upon My arrival, I was denied entry. I was told I needed a reservation. I was only there to sit at the bar and still denied entry.
Although I saw other guests there that I know did not have a reservation sitting at the bar.
After 22 years in the hotel and restaurant business I know this is definitely how you DO NOT treat a guest.
I am currently in the entertainment industry and will definitely put this word out for places NOT TO STAY!!.
Looks like it was a great place at 1 time but it's turning totally ghetto.
