We love everything about this stay. (2 of us) We booked a deluxe room but upon arrival we're upgraded to a beachfront suit! It was beautiful and cozy. The bed is awesome, the shower and bathroom are huge! We ordered room service for every dinner b/c it was that nice to be in. The pool is amazing, beach front chairs of all types for lounging or sitting. Beach activities - pool bar and food. A beautiful boutique hotel. We rented a golf cart for four hours 2 of the days = $40USD and drove around and to town. The food was wonderful 👍 You'll love it here.

Eles foram muito simpáticos conosco, o serviço foi de primeira qualidade, e eles conheceram nosso filho de 3,5 anos tão bem. Eles eram ótimos para ele todos os dias! O resort tem atividades diárias nas quais você pode se inscrever, eles o ajudarão com a reserva de excursões, e a praia tem atividades divertidas como pufes, redes, vôlei e caiaques. O nosso quarto Quarto Deluxe era lindo com vista para o estabelecimento e eles fizeram um excelente trabalho de limpeza todos os dias. Eles tinham um pouco de construção acontecendo e precisavam acessar nosso quarto, então fomos atualizados para um Beach Loft nas últimas duas noites, o que foi uma surpresa maravilhosa. Eles nos pegaram no aeroporto e nos trouxeram de volta no final da estadia. Eu gostaria que pudéssemos ter ficado por mais de uma semana! Nadamos en la piscina todos los días, la comida del restaurante es deliciosa para todas las comidas y los bares (dentro y en la piscina) sirven bebidas increíbles. El personal fue increíble. Fueron muy amables con nosotros, el servicio fue de primera y llegaron a conocer muy bien a nuestro hijo de 3,5 años. ¡Eran geniales con él todos los días! Nuestra habitación Deluxe Room era hermosa con vista a la propiedad e hicieron un gran trabajo al limpiarla todos los días. The staff is phenomenal! They are so friendly and caring. They always have a smile on their face and are ready to help. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The food is fantastic!! Be sure to get the Itzana toast for breakfast, and if they are serving snook as the catch of the day be sure to get that, too. The ceviche & seafood fritters, too! The pool is wonderful, and we spent most of our time there. The beach is beautiful, but there was a lot of seaweed during our stay, and the sand fleas deterred me from getting out on the sand at night. If you are looking for a relaxing, laid back trip, itzana is a great choice!! Time seemed to slow down here, in a great way. Can’t say enough how wonderful and kind the staff was!!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our week stay at Itz'ana Resort!! The property is truly exceptional and very well maintained. We swam in the pool every single day, the restaurant food is delicious for all meals, and the bars (inside and at the pool) serve amazing drinks. The staff was incredible. They were so friendly to us, the service was top notch, and they got to know our 3.5 year old son so well. They were great to him everyday! The resort has daily activities that you can sign up for, they will help you with booking excursions, and the beach has fun activities like bean bags, hammocks, volleyball and kayaks. Our room Deluxe Room was gorgeous overlooking the property and they did a great job of cleaning it everyday. They had a little bit of construction going on and needed to access our room, so we were upgraded to a Beach Loft for the last two nights which was a wonderful surprise. They picked us us from the airport and brought us back at the end of the stay. I wish we could have stayed for longer than a week! I would recommend this resort to anyone coming to Placencia, including families with kids!

Se você estiver viajando para Placencia, Itz'ana é uma ótima escolha. O resort é absolutamente lindo e muito bem cuidado! A equipe e o atendimento são ótimos! A piscina é incrível! E eles estão localizados na praia, o que é muito bom! Eles também têm caiaques e pranchas de remo gratuitos que você pode usar.A comida do restaurante também é boa! Achamos a comida em Placencia muito boa. A comida do hotel é uma boa opção se você não quiser sair da propriedade, no entanto, você pode encontrar comida incrível por toda Placencia. If you are traveling to Placencia, Itz'ana is a great choice. The resort is absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained! The staff and service are great! The pool is incredible! And they are located on the beach, which is really nice! They also have free kayaks and paddle boards which you can use.The food at the restaurant is also good! We found the food in Placencia to be overall really good. The hotel food is a good option if you do not want to leave the property, however, you can find amazing food all over Placencia. I would definitely recommend the shrimp tostones with the spicy mayo - delicious!The location is good, but it does help to have a car or golf cart. Placencia is a very low key chill vibe, although, most of the action is near the town. Itz'ana is very low key and chill, so it is very nice place to book if you are trying to get away and relax for a few days. The beach is calm and nice, but the water is not as good as it is near the town of Placencia. Placencia town is about a 8 -10 min drive by car. The resort offers golf carts and bicycles, although, I do not know how much they charge since we had a car.We did have one small incident at the resort, where something of value was missing from our hotel room. Although it was not recovered, the resort management and staff dealt with this incident in a very professional and serious manner. I would recommend utilizing the safe for all valuables! Although this was to our disappointment, the overall stay and experience here was great and I would definitely book here again!
Went with my best friend for a girls trip and it was so much fun ! The property is gorgeous ,the rooms were nice and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also very delicious ... definately going back !

Excelente Boutique Hotel com muitos detalhes e atendimento personalizado. Os quartos são espaçosos, confortáveis, limpos, ambiente muito tranquilo. As áreas externas mostram muito cuidado e limpeza, com uma piscina grande e bonita. As refeições no jardim exterior proporcionam uma experiência muito agradável. Claro, bela praia com ondas calmas. A equipe é muito cordial, altamente recomendado se você procura relaxamento e conforto.
O resort é lindo, limpo, tem belas vistas, boa comida e boas bebidas. No entanto, o serviço não está a par com o resto: 1. Serviço de transporte. O resort oferece serviço de translado gratuito ao redor da ilha. Mesmo tendo informado a eles o horário de pouso e sido avisado para esperar pelo ônibus no aeroporto, após 20 minutos de espera ligamos apenas para saber que o carro nem havia saído do hotel. No nosso último dia, tivemos um teste rápido de covid no aeroporto às 11 e voo de saída às 1. Pedimos para sermos levados ao aeroporto para fazermos o teste rapidamente e retornarmos por uma hora e meia no resort para relaxar antes do nosso voo. O ônibus acabou deixando-nos apenas no aeroporto e nunca mais voltando para nós. Tentamos enviar mensagens de texto para eles no WhatsApp, mas ninguém respondeu. 2. Completa falta de comunicação sobre os eventos. Passamos o Ano Novo no resort e o fato de eles terem muitas atividades planejadas foi um dos principais motivadores na escolha deste alojamento em particular. Havia vários lugares em todo o resort anunciando eventos diferentes. Tivemos que nos inscrever em um deles 3 vezes ... só para saber no dia que não estava acontecendo. Entendemos que alguns itens podem ser cancelados, mas gostaríamos de ser notificados, em vez de perder tempo conversando com diferentes membros da equipe. Além disso, não é tão difícil atualizar um quadro branco removendo um evento. Ninguém sabia se para o NYE haveria fogos de artifício (não eram), nem serviam champanhe ou espumante à meia-noite e não havia como conseguir. 3. Ou eles não estariam familiarizados com o menu e não saberiam o que havia nos tacos.O serviço e a comunicação não eram de todo ruins, apenas inconsistentes. Do lado positivo, eles conseguiram nos colocar em um vôo no mesmo dia da cidade de Belize para Placencia, embora todos os vôos estivessem lotados. E Miguel foi INCRÍVEL em fazer coquetéis e nos ensinar sobre rum.Se o serviço fosse melhorar, eu recomendaria este resort 100% a todos. Mas agora, eu diria que é uma aposta (especialmente em torno de grandes feriados).
Bela piscina e vista para o mar. Nós ficamos em um loft de praia e era muito espaçoso e tinha tudo o que você precisava ou queria. Todos os funcionários foram extremamente simpáticos e prestativos. As comodidades eram excelentes e a comida também era muito boa.
Excelente Boutique Hotel con muchos detalles y atención personalizada. Las habitaciones son amplias, comodas, limpias, ambiente muy tranquilo. Las areas exteriores muestran mucho cuidado y limpieza, con una amplia y bonita piscina. Las comidas en el area exterior jardinizada ofrecen una muy agradable experiencia. Por supuesto, bonita playa con oleaje tranquilo. El staff es muy cordial.Muy recomendable si se esta en busqueda de relajamiento y confort
The resort is beautiful, clean, has nice views, good food and good drinks. However the service is not on par with the rest: 1. Shuttle service. The resort offers complimentary shuttle service around the island. Even though we informed them what time we land and were told to wait for the shuttle at the airport, after waiting for 20 minutes we called them just to find out the car didn't even leave the hotel. On our last day, we had rapid covid testing at the airport at 11 and flight out at 1. We asked to be taken to the airport to be quickly tested and return for 1.5h at the resort to relax before our flight. The shuttle ended up just leaving us at the airport and never coming back for us. We tried texting them on WhatsApp, but nobody replied. 2. Complete lack of communication about events. We spent New Years at the resort and the fact that they had many activities planned was one of the main motivators in chosing this particular accommodation. There were multiple places across the resort advertising different events. We had to sign up for one of them 3 times... just to find out on the day that it is not happening. We understand that things can get cancelled, but we would have liked to be notified, instead of wasting time talking to different staff members. Also it's not that hard to update a whiteboard removing an event. Nobody knew if for NYE there will be fireworks (they weren't), they didn't even serve champagne or sparkling wine at midnight and there was no way of getting it. 3. Confusion: staff members were usually helpful and nice, but sometimes they would completely forget your order and you would have to reorder after 1h. Or they would be unfamiliar with the menu and not know what is in the tacos.The service and communication were not all bad, it was just inconsistent. On the plus side, they managed to get us on a same day flight from Belize City to Placencia, even though all flights were full. And Miguel was AMAZING at making cocktails and teaching us about rum.If the service would improve, I would 100% recommend this resort to everyone. But right now, I would say it's a gamble (especially around big holidays).
Beautiful pool and ocean views. We stayed in a beach loft and it was very spacious and had everything you needed or wanted. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The amenities were great and the food was also very good.

Uma bela joia na adorável Placencia! Cenário deslumbrante, jantar íntimo, bela piscina, ótima praia para nadar e todos os funcionários são muito graciosos e acolhedores. A Grande Casa é uma maravilha arquitetônica. Nós ficamos em um loft de praia privado, espaçoso e muito confortável no andar superior. Gostei da cama confortável, nadando na piscina do deck com vista para o oceano, e amei o chuveiro e a banheira ao ar livre. A decoração em todos os lugares é incrível. Amo nadar no oceano e passei muito tempo vadeando e mergulhando na frente e ao sul das vilas na praia - avistei um lindo peixe papagaio. A praia é limpa e imaculada, e eles trabalham duro para mantê-la assim. As vistas são mágicas e, no geral, uau! Altamente recomendado!
¡Una hermosa joya en la encantadora Placencia! Un paisaje impresionante, una cena íntima, una hermosa piscina, una gran playa para nadar y todo el personal es muy amable y servicial. La Gran Casa es una maravilla arquitectónica. Nos alojamos en un loft de playa privado, espacioso y muy cómodo. Disfruté de la cómoda cama, chapoteando en la piscina de la terraza con vistas al océano, y me encantó la ducha y la bañera al aire libre. La decoración en todas partes es increíble. Me encanta nadar en el océano y pasé mucho tiempo vadeando y buceando con esnórquel en el frente y al sur de las villas de la playa; vi un hermoso pez loro. La playa está limpia y prístina, y se esfuerzan por mantenerla así. Las vistas son mágicas y, en general, ¡guau! ¡Altamente recomendado!
A beautiful gem in lovely Placencia! Stunning scenery, intimate dining, beautiful pool, great swimming beach, and all the staff are very gracious and accommodating. The Great House is an architectural marvel. We stayed in a private, spacious, and very comfortable upstairs beach loft. Enjoyed the comfy bed, wading in the deck pool with views of the ocean, and loved the outdoor shower and tub. The decor everywhere is incredible. I love to swim in the ocean and spent a lot of time wading and snorkeling out front and to the south of the beach villas—spotted a gorgeous parrot fish. Beach is clean and pristine, and they work hard to keep it that way. Views are magical and overall, wow! Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful place to stay in Placencia. The service is great and everyone is nice and respectful. The atmosphere is light and laid back, but can be highly energetic at any given moment. The food was delicious! I will definitely stay and eat here in the future.
