Wonderful location, small rooms. Expected to pickup a pre-paid breakfast; was offered but never received coffee and croissants. Staff was highly variable: some were great while others would do well to take a class on behavioral ethics. I was told this was due to the hotel changing ownership, which occurred mid-stay.

The room was tastefully designed and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The view of the Brooklyn bridge from the 7th floor was amazing. The area around the hotel had a nice selection of restaurants as well. The only thing that was a negative for us was that it is a bit far from the nearest metro station.

We had a great weekend celebrating my birthday here. Everyone in the hotel & the restaurant were very friendly & provided great service, especially the gentleman at the desk overnight. Whenever I saw him throughout the weekend he remembered it was my birthday! Definitely will stay here again

My partner and I stayed here last week, and although the hotel is on the older side (refurbished), and the restaurant’s food was ok, I still give the experience a five star due to how kind they were. Specifically, Peter took care of us very well. We arrived at 10am in the morning as we had to check out from the other hotel. Although we didn’t get our room (as we’d expect being so early), Peter (I believe), did his very best to help us relax—trying to see if there was any upgrade available, opening the lounge to allow us to sit and get some coffee/tea, as well as telling us about the area. We ended up leaving our luggage there and exploring New York instead. Peter called us several times to let us know if a room was available and if it was to our liking or to wait for another one. What a service! I regret not being able to see him when we checked out. Overall, the service was great and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in while visiting New York City, Mr. C Seaport is easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. The staff is incredible, the hotel amenities are impressive, and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The location is great, too — views of the Brooklyn Bridge, just across the street from the new Tin Building development, and quick access to the FDR Drive makes getting around Manhattan very quick and easy. A special shout out to Dean and Michell from the hotel staff, for their friendliness and above-and-beyond service. Will absolutely be staying here again in the future!

We are having such a terrible experience at this hotel. First, we arrive at 4:30pm only to be told that our room isn’t ready because the previous customer had a 4 o’clock guaranteed checkout…….which I’ve never heard of. On our booking, it states check in at 3pm. The added resort fee or whatever they call it doesn’t include anything other than Wi-Fi. The room wasn’t properly clean. The toilet didn’t flush properly. For a $500+ a night, this hotel really under delivered. The pictures online look great but the hotel was small and was definitely not using high end furniture. The actual room was tiny, and had no counter space or storage space for any clothes or toiletries. It was comical. I couldn’t believe how much we were paying. The area in which the hotel was located was nice……but the hotel definitely wasn’t. I don’t typically write reviews but I couldn’t wait to warn others about this place. Trust me, there are far better hotels in NYC for less money than this place.

Então desci para pedir um novo quarto, mesmo problema no quarto ao lado. Fios elétricos colados e luzes piscando, coisas assustadoras. Joanne, a funcionária da mesa noturna, era atroz. Eram 2 da manhã e ela se recusou a entrar no meu quarto para ver o problema. Ela enviou um homem para vir ao meu quarto, o que honestamente me fez sentir desconfortável. Eu estava sozinho com minha filha e estressado com todos os problemas do quarto tão tarde da noite. Eu não posso acreditar como essa mulher é rude com os convidados. Este lugar não é seriamente barato. Eles também disseram que me dariam um desconto de US $ 150 na segunda noite e isso não aconteceu. Todos os outros que trabalham lá foram incrivelmente gentis, mas não posso acreditar que um hotel tão agradável tenha uma pessoa tão rude no gerenciamento de clientes. I stayed at Mr C over the weekend for 2 nights. First night was great, beautiful room and lovely area. Last minute I decided to book a second night, new room they put me and my toddler in had electrical issues, the wires were literally taped together and the lights were flickering. So I went downstairs to ask for a new room, same problem in the next room. Electrical wires taped together and lights flickering, scary stuff. Joanne the night desk worker was atrocious. It was 2 am and she refused to go into my room to look at the problem. She sent a man to come up to my room which honestly made me feel uncomfortable. I was alone with my daughter and stressed with all the room issues so late at night. I cannot believe how rude this woman is to guests. This place is seriously not cheap. They also said they would discount me $150 on the second night and that didn’t happen. Everyone else working there was incredibly kind but I cannot believe such a nice hotel would have such a rude person in customer management. Joanne had such an attitude with me like I was inconveniencing her, was so bothered and annoyed by my concerns. It was honestly so disturbing and uncomfortable to deal with. I’ve been on hold now for 20 minutes and I hope the billing can be resolved as they also held an extra $100 they said for incidentals that I’ve yet to receive back. The first night I was totally going to rebook again in the future but after the second night it was such a horrible disaster. I’m a single mom and I dropped over $1,000 there to have a nice weekend with myself and my daughter and the way I was spoken to by Joanne the front desk lady was so abhorrent I felt traumatized after the whole ordeal. To leave me alone with a man in my room at 2 am and have a wicked attitude with me when I genuinely just needed help was really bad. I would say this is absolutely not worth the money and I’m willing to bet the entire building has electrical problems. Wires were literally taped together. Scary stuff.

Elegante, lindo hotel com uma vista fantástica da ponte do Brooklyn. Grande área (porto marítimo) que fica perto de muitas lojas e restaurantes. A academia era grande o suficiente para apenas uma pessoa (e se você é alto, não se preocupe. O teto é muito baixo.). A equipe foi super gentil e atenciosa também. Muito animado para voltar!

Elegante y hermoso hotel con una vista fantástica del puente de Brooklyn. Excelente área (Seaport) que está cerca de muchas tiendas y restaurantes. El gimnasio solo era lo suficientemente grande para una persona (y si eres alto, no te molestes. El techo es muy bajo). El personal fue muy amable y atento también. Muy emocionado de volver!

Classy, beautiful hotel with a fantastic view of the Brooklyn bridge. Great area (Seaport) that’s close to many shops and restaurants. The gym was only big enough for one person (and if you’re tall, don’t bother. The ceiling is very low.). The staff was super kind and attentive as well.

Tom, o concierge, foi além quando segurou nossas malas após o check-out, para que minha família e eu ainda pudéssemos explorar mais a cidade antes de nossa partida. Nesse momento, dei uma gorjeta ao Tom. Após a nossa chegada de volta ao hotel, ainda tivemos uma hora de espera antes do nosso passeio. Tom nos dirigiu para o lounge e nos trouxe 4 garrafas de água grátis. Quando estávamos saindo, Tom ajudou com nossas malas, momento em que tentei dar outra gorjeta a Tom, que ele recusou e disse Sr. Drayton, você já cuidou de mim.Adoramos onde o Sr. C. O hotel fica talvez a cinco minutos a pé do acesso ao metrô Fulton St. A área tinha uma sensação de bairro de classe alta. Em nenhum momento nos sentimos inseguros ao explorar o bairro. My family of 4 stayed at Mr. C. Seaport for 3 nights and our stay was excellent. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. One example of this is we needed ice after hours and the front desk attendant went out of his way to get us ice out of the closed kitchen. Tom the concierge went above and beyond when he held our bags after checkout so my family and I could still explore more of the city before our departure. At which time I gave Tom a tip. Upon our arrival back to the hotel we still had an hour wait before our ride. Tom directed us to the lounge and brought us 4 free bottles of water. When we were leaving Tom assisted with our bags at which time I attempted to give Tom another tip to which he refused and said Mr. Drayton you already took care of me.
We love where Mr. C. Seaport is located, we had a view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River. The hotel is maybe a five-minute walk to Fulton St subway access. The area had an upper-class neighborhood feel. At no time did we feel unsafe when exploring the neighborhood. We will definitely stay at this location again.

A vista era espetacular e eles ainda nos enviaram uma fatia de bolo como um serviço para nosso deleite junto com uma carta personalizada. As pequenas coisas como essa tornaram a nossa estadia tão especial e bem-vinda. Nós também comemos a comida no Bellini para o almoço e foi fantástico. Eu absolutamente recomendaria este hotel a ninguém e espero voltar em breve. Todos os trabalhadores foram muito simpáticos e acolhedores. O quarto tinha tudo o que precisávamos e ficamos muito satisfeitos. Não poderíamos pedir uma estadia melhor.

Fiquei uma noite, estacionei ao lado do hotel. Meu carro foi arrombado, quebrou a janela do meu carro. O mesmo quarteirão do hotel. Inseguro. Aparentemente não é seguro ao lado do hotel. E o hotel (não a equipe) não faz muito sobre o problema. Também fui “atualizado” o upgrade foi o mesmo quarto que aluguei. SMH.

I stay one night, I parked next to the hotel. My car got broken into, Cracked my window of my car. The same block the hotel is in. Unsafe. Apparently is not safe next to the hotel. And hotel (not staff) doesn’t do much about the problem. Also I was “upgraded” the upgrade was the same room I rented. SMH.

I stayed with my wife for her 30th birthday for a weekend. Our stay has been absolutely phenomenal. Peter, the Front Office Supervisor, upgraded us to a room with a terrace. We are extremely thankful for their hospitality and service. The view was spectacular and they even sent us a slice of cake as a service to our delight along with a personalized letter. The little things like that made our stay so special and welcome. We also ate the food at Bellini for lunch and it was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to be back soon. All the workers were so friendly and accommodating. The room had everything we needed and we were very pleased. We could not ask for a better stay.

Amazing boutique located located near all shops and restaurants. A close drive to the Brooklyn bridge. The rooms were spacious and new. By far the best customer service. Mohammed made sure our stay was nothing but the best. To be honest, I’ve never seen a better looking staff member. Will definitely come back, especially is Mohammed working there.

Os quartos são confortáveis, limpos e bem decorados. Toque agradável com o bolo de merengue de limão bem-vindo também! Não experimentamos Bellini mas o restaurante parecia muito bom. O serviço de quarto foi excelente. O único aspecto negativo está relacionado à segurança. Ficamos chocados quando o recepcionista disse a um entregador que fosse direto para o quarto. Isso não parece seguro. Basicamente, nenhuma segurança real no chão. Caso contrário, deveria ter dado 5 *

The Seaport area isn’t our go to spot but it was fun and an easy starting point for a great walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. From there you can explore the awesome park by the bridge, Dumbo, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill and Atlantic Ave.Yes we were beat after that walk but it was really fun. We splurged on a room with a terrace over looking the Bridge and it was worth it. Great place for breakfast as well (only serving in the room now). The rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed.Nice touch with the welcome lemon meringue cake too!We did not try Bellini but the restaurant looked really good.Room service was excellent.The one negative relates to security. We were shocked that the front desk person told a delivery person to head straight up to the room. That doesn’t seem safe.Basically, no real security on the floors.Otherwise should have given 5*
