This was a very wonderful property in an absolutely incredible location. Located right by the Piazza Novona, it is less than a 10 minute walk to the Trevi Fountains, Vatican City, and 20 minutes to the Roman Forum and Coliseum. The rooms were extremely clean, large, and modern. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze, airport transfers and communication was perfect. The only downside I would see for some folks would be that to get to the rooms, you have to walk up a very narrow spiral staircase. The history behind this building is incredible however if you have mobility issues, you might encounter some issues walking up to the rooms. There are tons of great restaurants in the area including an amazing Tuscan place right downstairs. Definitely check this place out when in Rome as it is ideal!
Stay here! The staff are extremely helpful, nice, and will bend over backwards for you! The rooms have a lot of personality. It's very central, it's. 15 minute walk to the Vatican and half a second to Piazza Navona! Loved staying here for my honeymoon!
Super great hotel well recommended super great location walking distance to the mayors attractions museums and Vatican, the owners of this great hotels 2 couples welcome you as a family Salvatore go beyond any speciation he make you feel like home the stairs from 1545 are originals and unique transporting you to the medieval times but as soon you open the door of the room is like Rome machine because you enter to a very modern room well equipped and with free mini bar
We had a very nice experience staying here. Our hosts Salvatore and Paula made us feel at home. Typical of the area the building is a low rise building and they are on the third floor. They came down to bring up or cases and same when we were leaving. They provided water and coffee. The room was clean and have everything we needed. The hot and cold water was good and we enjoyed the showers. No complaints. We will be back.
This is by far the best hotel my boyfriend Sheldon and I have ever stayed in, and we've traveled to over ten major cities. The room is phenomenal and immaculate; it has both character and class, and was the cleanest hotel room I've ever seen. But the room is nothing compared to the service! The owners are kind and genuine people. We misunderstood something about the receipt, and they were very patient with us and explained things despite our not knowing the language. They are warm and welcoming, and always offered espresso. We were treated with courtesy and respect, and it was very genuine. They also made travelling from the airport very easy. After we booked, I was contacted by the hotel and offered a car to pick us up from the airport for a reasonable price, which was a relief because we wouldn't have known how else to get there. The hotel staff was in constant communication with me for any questions I had or anything I needed, both before our arrival and throughout the duration of our stay. And the location was absolutely perfect. Right in the middle of countless restaurants and so close to things we wanted to see. I can't say enough good about this place; we will definitely go back the next time we're in Rome! Oh and Giorgio is super awesome :). Nicest guy ever. Best hotel stay ever. Go there.
