Nice staff, good location in town, parking was not an issue. For me, the hotel feels like it is stuck in the 1980s. Our room was a little worn, slightly yellow bath water, cheap bedding. I do recommend the hotel however - just don't expect a modern hotel experience.

Decent hotel, really old school, same hotel you could find in any ski resort of any mountain in Europe since the '80. I had a pretty room, small though and on the street, which is busy and smells exhaust gas. Poor wi-fi bit good cleanliness. Terrific location, right in front of the cabin lift station.
The restaurant is disappointing. Meals are, well, nothing special and on the low quantity side. The style is wannabe elegant, and the menu expensive. No wi-fi signal.
Breakfast disappointing too, with ok variety of bakery but poor protein choice. Messy and rushy service, Covid is among us since March and by August I expect that a restaurant learnt how to work well while respecting the necessary restrictions.
Some waiters are kind, some others not.

I have never been one to write reviews, but our experience at Hotel Rutllan has ignited a fire in me. We are a professional cycling team and travelled to Andorra for a competition, which has been on for many, many years.
Without going into too much detail, the owner/ manager and the staff were rude and unfriendly, and treated us like children. One incident included insinuating that a college was in the wrong when they had misplaced her laundry for 2 days.
The manager of the restaurant was just as condescending when we asked for gluten free options for an athlete, insisting that we had to pay over and above what was already paid for, for any special requests. The only friendly face happened to be a waitress who was able to assist us, and make us feel like patrons instead of unwelcome visitors. I did not get her name, but a big thank you to her, or else the whole week would have been a complete write off.
A few packages were delivered late to the hotel after we had checked out, and they also seem to have been misplaced by the hotel. I have spoken to one of the receptionists to which he flatly denied any involvement without first listening to the situation, and they have yet to respond to my emails with the proof of delivery to try resolve the issue. The management philosophy seems to be "Ignorance is Bliss"
In closing, there are by far better hotels in La Massana, please don't make the same mistake we did.

Very cute rural hotel. I have no complaints: clean rooms, good renovation, hot water, internet, heating- all without fails. Breakfast is nice too. Did not go to the spa, so cant review it. Location is perfect for skiing and if you are traveling by car its also close to the capital and shopping

Great staff at the restaurant! Tirasimu is absolutely fantastic! Francesco and Samuel were really helpful and paying close attention to us.
Spa is also great for apres-ski period, but be aware it is not included on the standard room cost! Same thing for cheese at the restaurant. Hotel needs to improve communication/transparency of these costs for customers.
Anyway, great location, good food, relaxing Spa facilities and nice staff.
