Loved the hotel and will definitely stay here again. The staff was excellent, absolutely no complaints.

The service is excellent, and if you are looking for a family experience this is the one. They charge extras for everything... like internet $10 for 24 hours for just one device... if u need money from the atm (and it wasn't working) they will charge u an extra fee, we needed to make a local call, also a fee

Friendly, helpful staff without exception Wifi US$10.00/day per device - way too expensive. Plus it was slow. The food in the restaurants was mediocre. The hotel only gave sparse information about El Cid hotels, nothing about what else existed in Mazatlan.

We had two rooms, one suite and one junior suite for the adult children and were there for a wedding for our friends from Monterrey and Durango. Maid service was great. We ate breakfast at the restaurant every day and it was delicious, served with warmth and charm by the staff. The pool with the hot tub and cave features was very much enjoyed. Seemingly small things, like the hotel setting up an outdoor movie and serving popcorn were very special and is the kind of thing that will have us coming back. The doormen were also really, really terrific. The staff service was exemplary. Our 4th floor, marina-view rooms were perfect for us, loved the balconies.
