Marathon

Cet hôtel en bord de mer est situé à proximité de la ville historique de Marathon, en Attique. L'hôtel se trouve à seulement 7 km du centre-ville de Marathon. C'est le point de départ idéal pour partir à la découverte de la riche culture et des traditions de la région. L'hôtel est situé à quelques minutes en voiture de la ville de Nea Makri, du centre d'Athènes et de l'aéroport Eleftherios Venizelos. De style grec traditionnel, cet hôtel est établi au milieu d'un vaste terrain. Il comprend un bâtiment principal et de magnifiques bungalows, ce qui rappelle un village grec traditionnel. Les chambres sont magnifiquement décorées avec grâce et style. Ce magnifique hôtel dispose de toute une série d'équipements et de services de restauration pour satisfaire les demandes des clients.

Passamos 1 semana em julho passado em Golden Coast, uma opção de pensão completa. O lugar é muito bom, perto de Atenas. Muitas atividades para crianças e adolescentes. A equipe de animação foi incrivelmente boa, todos falam francês também. Os shows noturnos foram fantásticos. Adoramos nossa estadia lá. A comida era boa, não a melhor, mas estava ok.

Pasamos 1 semana en julio pasado en Golden Coast, una opción de pensión completa. El lugar es muy agradable, cerca de Atenas. Un montón de actividades para niños y adolescentes. El equipo de animación fue increíblemente bueno, todos hablan francés también. Los espectáculos nocturnos fueron fantásticos. Nos encantó nuestra estancia allí. La comida estaba bien, no la mejor pero estaba bien.

We spent 1 week last July in Golden Coast, a full board option. The place is very nice, near to Athens. Plenty of activities for kids ans teenagers. The animation team were amazingly good, they all speak French as well. The night shows were fantastic. We loved our stay there. The food was fine, not the best but it was Ok.

Serviço muito bom de todos os funcionários nas reservas da recepção e no restaurante. A comida abaixo da média voa para todos os lados e dentro da própria comida (as panelas). O período espasmódico é em meados de setembro, que não foi uma alta temporada para o hotel desde muito cedo até que a piscina fecha e está chovendo. O que acontece em agosto eles dizem nos comentários. mas não é justo ter espreguiçadeiras exclusivas !!!

Bons quartos limpos e espaçosos, razoavelmente cuidados, próximo à praia. Esteja preparado para este hotel ter uma lista de hóspedes de várias nacionalidades. Alimentos do monótono ao muito bom. Os vinhos da casa são muito bebíveis. Este hotel está em um local bastante desolado, porém o ônibus diário para Atenas e os táxis locais são baratos. Boa Viagem.

Resort realmente agradável. Ótimas pessoas e serviço. Ótimo infra. Minha única recomendação é melhorar a comida do restaurante com sucos naturais e mais frutas frescas. Melhor reservar antes de outubro, pois é quando há programas. Realmente gostei de qualquer maneira!

Uma estrela para a comida - que era realmente excelente - e as bebidas.E uma estrela para a localização - o que é bom por si só, mas absolutamente descuidado.Fora isso, este é um dos hotéis mais rudes e malcuidados em que já me hospedei. As pessoas obviamente não queriam mais trabalhar, mais da metade dos bares e restaurantes estavam fechados, a equipe de limpeza deixou os quartos em condições desastrosas, incluindo cabelo e mascando doces nas gavetas, você era forçado a perguntar se poderia conseguir outro quarto. Porém, mesmo nas melhores salas, a higiene é questionável. E para piorar as coisas, o único elevador do saguão está quebrado. Em vez de consertá-lo, eles apenas colocaram uma placa.Mas agora a melhor parte. No lobby, se é que se pode chamar assim, e no bar principal, há mais gatos do que pessoas. Um no-go absoluto, não apenas um desastre para quem sofre de alergias, mas também uma grande fonte de doenças. Mesmo quando abordado pela equipe, nada foi feito e a equipe do bar até alimentou os animais. Todo o hotel é mais como um zoológico.

Buenas habitaciones limpias y espaciosas, jardines razonablemente cuidados, al lado de la playa. Esté preparado para este hotel que tiene una lista de huéspedes de varias nacionalidades. Comida de lo monótono a lo muy bueno. Los vinos de la casa muy bebibles. Este hotel está en una ubicación bastante desolada, sin embargo, el autobús diario a Atenas y los taxis locales son baratos. Buen viaje.

One star for the food - which was really excellent - and the drinks. And one star for the location - which is nice in itself but absolutely unkempt. Otherwise, this is one of the rudest and most unkempt hotels I have ever stayed in. The people obviously didn't want to work anymore over half of the bars and restaurants were closed the cleaning staff left the rooms in a disastrous condition including hair and chewing sweets in the drawers so you were forced to ask if you could get another room. However, even in the better rooms, the hygiene is questionable. And to make matters worse, the lobby's only lift is broken. Instead of repairing it, they just put up a sign. But now for the best part. In the lobby, if you can call it that, and at the main bar, there are more cats than people. An absolute no-go, not only a disaster for allergy sufferers but also a great source of disease. Even when approached by the staff, nothing was done and the bar staff even fed the animals. The whole hotel is more like a petting zoo.

Good clean spacious rooms, reasonably cared for grounds, next to the beach. Be prepared for this hotel having a multi-nationality guest list. Food from the drab to the very good. The house wines very drinkable. This hotel is in a rather desolate location, however daily bus to Athens and local taxis are cheap. Bon voyage.

Really nice resort. Great people and service. Great infra. My only recommendation is to improve the restaurant food with natural juices and more fresh fruits. Better to book before October as it's when there are programs. Really enjoyed anyway!

Complexo espaçoso com excelentes piscinas e quartos bons e renovados. O all inclusive não é tão bom, pois o restaurante e a comida estão mais na melhor categoria de cantina e a seleção de bebidas alcoólicas, além da cerveja, é simplesmente a mais barata. A propósito, cappuccino, etc. não está incluído e deve ser pago. A animação me incomodava muito por causa do volume até as 23h, mas provavelmente é uma questão de gosto. Pessoalmente, eu sei e espero mais de um hotel quatro estrelas.

Amplio complejo con excelentes piscinas y buenas habitaciones renovadas. Todo incluido no es tan bueno, ya que el restaurante y la comida están más en la mejor categoría de cantina y la selección de bebidas alcohólicas, aparte de la cerveza, es simplemente la más barata. Por cierto, el capuchino, etc. no está incluido y debe pagarse. La animación me resultaba muy molesta por el volumen hasta las 11 de la noche, pero probablemente sea cuestión de gustos. Personalmente, sé y espero más de un hotel de cuatro estrellas.

Summary:- Flies perch all over your food and face everyday at the restaurant. - Poorly maintained grounds and old looking. - Drinks in the all-inclusive package are carbonated - you need to pay for actual orange juice for example. - Staff are abrasive. - Cold food and very tasteless. - Lift is wobbly feels like it's about to collapse any day now. - The Marathonas area is very shabby - uncompleted buildings litter the area, unkept bushes everywhere.Pros: The only positive thing was the beach nearby and the cafe outside the hotel.We booked the all-inclusive package for 7 nights expecting to get a "4-star" experience in a beach resort, in fact the grounds of the hotel are reminiscent of a forgotten era with poorly maintained grounds.We arrived just in time for lunch and quickly realized that this would not be a pleasant stay. The food was cold and bland, but the most unpleasant aspect was the uncountable flies which began circling around our table (perching on our food, face, hands everywhere!!) You can imagine taking a 4 hour flight and 1 hour trip from the airport only to be met with the most disgusting and unpalatable dining. We couldn't even finish the food and most importantly we were afraid for the health of our 8 month old child.We brought this to the attention of the reception team and requested that they charge us for the first two nights and give us a refund so we could book an alternative accommodation which they refused even after we pleaded with them to consider the health of our infant who started vomiting the day after we arrived approximately half an hour after breakfast.We stayed for another 3 days just to get some notion of our money's "worth" before moving to a much nicer hotel which was actually 4 star and during this time not a single member of the reception team/director bothered to inquire as to her health. For the remainder of our stay we had to make do with lunch at the nearby cafe.Don't stay at this hotel !!!

Family vacay resort. All inclusive is relatively fine (but you have to pay for icecream or even for frappe - alco dtinks can understand, but frappe not). Food is okay, capacity of restaurant is sufficient. Beach is okay, bars superb, main pool and pool near a beach are great.

Very nice place with clean and comfortable rooms and nice staff. The restaurant is nice but it has very limited food choices. The bar is nice with clean drinks. The french-driven environment since many of the visitors come from France it is not to the point that I will not recommend the place to other nationalities. Let me add that there is no respect for guests that not in the French groups!

O hotel fica mesmo à beira-mar, com espreguiçadeiras à beira-mar e à beira da piscina. No restaurante de terror, principalmente no fim de semana. Filas longas, sem sobremesas 5 minutos antes do final do almoço ou jantar. Bebidas dramáticas, café também. Praticamente não há lanches, então não há nada para comer do almoço ao jantar. Pizza deliciosa, espere cerca de 10-15 minutos. Nos bangalôs gregos, quartos minimalistas são limpos diariamente. As formigas nos terraços entram na sala. Hotel a cerca de 25 km de Atenas, mas o traslado para o hotel demorou cerca de 1,5 horas, chegamos depois das 22h. A viagem da agência de viagens para Atenas custou 50 euros, custou aproximadamente 8 euros (o preço do ônibus e bilhete de metrô). A entrada na acrópole ainda tem um custo separado.

I gave this hotel 1 star, just for the room we got and the lady at the kids club. This all inclusive resort is the worst we experience so far, the food is terrible, during lunch and dinner, the eating area is super crowded, utensils is very dirty, the snack is usually bread from breakfast. Alcohol drink is terrible and they put the drink on paper cup 😒. We stay for 6 nights and for those day were not happy at all. Dont come over to this hotel.

Excelente hotel, la atención fue muy buena por parte del personal, si deseas ir a la playa solo tienes que salir del hotel por la parte de atrás, allí podrás encontrar restaurantes, cafés, sillas de playa con sus sombrillas, una excelente vista y un sabroso mar.

Podría ser mucho mejor. La atención es regular. El dpto que nos correspondía era anticuado y no muy bien mantenido. La ubicación es buena si uno no quiere estar en Atenas que es muy concurrido. En auto es fácil llegar al aeropuerto y Atenas.
