Our stay was totally dissatisfying, we reserved 2 nights in JW Mariott because we love this hotel and it is our regular place to go inside Cairo and we chose it this time because our son "3 years" is having a medical case and can't be exposed to sun, we went two times & used the indoor pool and i called the reservations from days ago to check if the indoor pool is open as most of the indoor pools are still closed because of corona virus but they told me it is open.
However this time we were surprised that the indoor pool is for 18+, we knew this information by coincednce when we were having a tour with our baby, the reservations didn't tell us this information and even the front desk as well!
I went to the guy in the reception and told him and the surprise is "sorry we can't help you"; no one helped us and even the word "speedy recovery" didn't happen.
I explained to them my son's case "Vitiligo" and that we planned our vacation based on the indoor pool availability.
The way of handling the problem was totally shocking, from the staff to the manager.
I requested to talk to the manager and they left us from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm and I went to the guy in the reception named "Peter" he was carrying his mobile and chatting/texting and didn't even look at me and kept using his mobile for 10 mins "you can check the cameras"! And I told him we will cancel our stay as no one told us this information he said okay!
When the manager came i was also surprised of his way of handling, he didn't say anything except sorry we can't give you an exception, I tried with him even to specify timing during the day so we can use the indoor pool for 3 or 4 hrs or even during Sunday as it is a weekday but nothing happend!
Finally, we know someone who is working in Nile Ritz and he informed us before we go that he will do for us a favor of free parking and late check out.
During the check out they kept us for 1 hr to do the parking issue (EGP 250) and after this long time they gave us parking card and wrote it is free, on the gate the security informed us no you must pay.
We paid and left with sadness because of our whole stay!
Nothing to tell you that this vacation was because of our anniversary (Sunday 27/9/2020) and nothing happend from the hotel as a compliment as we used to have in any hotel in Egypt!
This was unacceptable, totally unprofessional & disrespectful!
Note: we paid for 1 night EGP4900

From the moment my family and I entered the Marriott we felt a sense of relaxation hit us. The calm energy of the hotel is a delightful reprieve from the chaos of Cairo. The desk staff was fantastic in making check in seamless and fast (we were able to check in early which was lovely!) we stayed in a double garden room. The decor is tasteful and classic and It was wonderful to have our little outdoor area to enjoy the sunset and drink coffee. One of the best features of the hotel are the pools. The kids area was a hit with our daughter. I love the Luxor pool as I call it, the wave pool was so much fun and the main pool has a great atmosphere. The lunch we had poolside was soooooo good! The taste and portions were awesome and honestly unexpected! The staff as the pool were so attentive to our needs and never too far away while still respecting privacy. Breakfast the next morning was great and the staff was super accommodating to our mix and match choices. We were able to check out late (again thank you reception) and we enjoyed the pools once more as well as a great nap (you guys have fantastic down feather pillows) 😍 I have only wonderful things to say and would recommend this hotel to anyone who values relaxation, luxury and world class service.

Although I stayed in a standard room but it was was so good, spacious with a pretty nice bathroom and a good view, the whole sleeping experience was good, I highly recommend. Over there you get that feeling that you’re completely out of Cairo, which is needed sometimes.
However, the breakfast experience was a total mess (it took too long to serve and at the end I didn’t get what I asked for), yet on these days I give an excuse for the staff due to the Covid-19 regulations.

Location is out of Cairo so everywhere you go is a trip but the hotel has all that you need and is very well set up. There are many different eating areas to choose from and outdoor areas are also very good. quality of food and service. its a little expensive.

The pool areas are dirty, I know Cairo has a lot of pollution, sand, etc. But, a garden house and a bit of swiping will go a long way. Staff, are bending backwards to help, but they all expect a tip for doing nothing. But this was Cairo. Over all this was a great Hotel, very modern and safe. Thank you. Security was great, near the Airport, plenty of room. Pool decks dirty, they have lots of staff, but a lot are doing nothing.

I think they have got the pulse of the customer right. They displayed professionalism and integrity a rare experience for tourists in Egypt. The airport drop to was delayed by 25 minutes. The co-ordination between the concierge's desk and the hotel taxi could have been better.

The hotel was great and the shuttle services made it easy to visit sites around Cairo on our own. We had a great visit and did not have to take any organized tours. Security measures made you feel safe from random acts of terror. Great shuttle service, plus airport shuttle.
