Shocking
Booked a two bedroom over a month ago and on arrival informed had a covid outbreak a few days ago so room is not available and all others are fully booked.
Very poor customer service here as a whole trip was wasted which they couldn't be bothered to call me to inform me of this.
They gave us an alternative location but did not have a two bedroom , this was also below standard and very dirty throughout.
We have wrote a complaint in and awaiting full response 48hrs ago otherwise will take further action.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT A NICE DAY WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

I do not think I have had a more worse stay in a hotel so far. The experience at Marlin was so poor that I am never returning to them.
I stayed at Marlin with my husband and a toddler for 14 nights. When we landed at the reception, nobody helped us with the luggage, they are like stuck in their seats, so they don't even leave their seat to ask if it is ok. The room given to us was not even cleaned, it was in such a bad state that all our feet got black in a few hours. Half the appliances were not working. The only good thing was their kitchen was fully equipped to support a family. They do not service the rooms regularly, and it's again so bad when they do.
They give you no supplies of anything like washing pods, trash bags, or toiletries. We paid such a huge amount per night and yet they just deny to send us anything, despite calling the front desk so many times. Your parcels don't reach you unless you go down there and look for them. The staff is absolutely not trained to even say a basic hello. They should stop calling themselves a 4-star hotel. PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT ANY MARLIN APARTMENT

We were there for four nights. The location is the best very close by to sub-way and several bus stop. Walking distance to the central. However, there are no air conditioning which will be not suitable if you're renting it in summer. We were facing a lot of issues to cope up with the heat during summer. They provided only one fan which was hardly throwing any air. We requested additional fan which was not provided. We also requested late checkout approx. 12.00PM which was also not provided. Apart from the best location I didn't feel anything special.

I will be honest I was quite nervous about our visit to Marlin as I had seen quite a substantial amount of bad reviews. When we arrived the staff were lovely and looked after out bags until our check in at 3. The apartment was clean and very spacious! Kitchen was fully equipped, living room had a couch and a TV as well as a dining table with chairs (obviously). The bed sheets were clean and that also goes for the bathroom! The only downside which is nothing to do with the Marlin was the location as it was a little rough but other than that it was a fantastic visit.

If you need a place to stay in London, Marlin Apartments might be a nice place to keep on your radar. You get what you pay for, but the service is generally good and the rooms are nice. The location is convenient too. We had some problems in communication with them (we told them our flight had changed, they said on the phone it wouldn't be a problem, just email them for the record, we did, they never responded and charged us a fee for showing up early because they never checked for our email), but once there, the staff was understanding and helpful. Overall, it's a nice place. No high-end hotel, but the quality is the best that can be hoped for. Friendly, professional, understanding. 8/10 location.
