Rooms are big but very dated. Ceiling is so low that you feel a bit repressed. The staff is awesome, very polite and attentive -the only good thing about this hotel.
The location is the worst part of my stay, far from everything. The nearest cafe shop or grocery store is 15-20 walk away. Unless you want to eat and drink only at the hotel. Very limited options. Slough city mall and Winsor are reachable by bus, but it's not frequent and paying for Reading bus 703/704 is such a hassle. No airport shuttle service and the taxi can be very costly.

I hesitated a moment before I picked a 4-star rating. The hotel is quite old, feels slightly rundown with long old-fashioned hallways and the surrounding area is less than pretty (I walked about half a mile in each direction and found nothing). The room was unspectacular, but of acceptable size and had the necessary amenities. The bathroom could be modernized.
But the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff were outstanding (when my colleagues arrived, they even called me to remind me to order breakfast on the room as my colleagues had done, which would save me 5 pounds per breakfast). The breakfast was excellent with a nice buffet and even omelets and eggs made to order. We had dinner at the hotel once and I had good old Fish ‘n Chips with beer which was quite good. The gym is of impressive size although a somewhat high proportion of equipment appeared to be out of order.
Overall a very reasonable stay.

Totally over priced for what you get, but best of a bad bunch. The rooms are decent, clean and comfortable however getting to and from the airport is tricky... Cabs don't want the short fare and there is no shuttle service offering. So much for an "airport hotel" - bit crazy but anyway that's how the cookie crumbles... One-day terminal 6 will house a glorious new airport hotel... We can only but dream...

We had a good deal to stay for 2 nights. Hotel lobby is spacious and pleasant, with some seating. The bar is nicely decorated, with nice choice of beers etc, shame there were no staff behind the bar, that would have been nice.
The reception staff were very polite and keen to help.
The rooms are standard mattresses are a little firm for my liking, but that will be a plus for some. The TV is huge for an hotel room and we had a sofa and table with chairs, so easy to relax there.
You get a working fridge, iron, hair dryer and a safe. Shower/bath room is fine, clean with no signs of anything unpleasant, as it should be.
We did have a slight issue with a sticking door lock, but that self-resolved before the maintenance team could get to it.
One slightly negative point to make, the lifts are not the smoothest ride, if I had to guess, I'd suggest the cables may have stretched and need adjustment. Inside the lift cars is spacious, clean and not unpleasant wood lined decor, with mirrors, slightly old fashioned, in a nice way.
Car parking is plentiful and ridiculously overpriced at £15 for 24hrs, as it is run by 'Parking Eye', the hotel have a much better rate, although at £9.50/24hrs, it still seems a little too much, especially as residents are already paying a substantial fee for the rooms, food and drinks.

Clean rooms. I travelled with family and we booked a suite. Sofa beds are comfy and the showers are clean.
Room service were kind enough not to charge for milk for my youngest child.
The breakfast is really great and the bespoke omelette service also went down very well.
