Loved staying at Margaritaville. The location was great. The Hotel itself and the room was clean. Staff were very nice and always welcoming. My only complaint was the late checkout. We wanted to check out a bit after 11 am, and they wanted to charge us $100 for late checkout. I thought that was a little unreasonable.

From start to finish it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever encountered. We received a text that we could make our way to the hotel and that our room would be ready shortly or that they could hold our bags. We left a *beautiful* resort figuring we would be able to start our day and get checked in. The front desk staff, while trying to be accommodating, had no idea what was going on. One person told us our room would be ready "any minute" so we waited in the lobby versus going to pool. A hour later we inquired again and this person told us they had no idea when the room would be ready. I understand early check-in is offered based on availability but if we had been told we couldn't check in until X-time, we would have just not shown up until then. The pool service staff was obviously understaffed because when someone in my party asked for two drinks and a coffee the woman responded that she didn't have time for that. I'm a bartender, I get how it is when it's super busy and you're in the weeds but that's just rude. Once we finally checked in we headed out for the day when we returned that night to sleep, the suite we booked for 5 did not have ANY bedding for the pull-out couch. No sheets. No pillows. Okay we figure we'll call the front desk- nope the phone is broken. So in my pajamas I have to go find someone to get us sheets. Then the morning comes. Banging on the door at 9am. It's housekeeping asking us to check out. I asked what time check out was, she said she'll come back. 10am. More banging on the door. I ask "Did I miss check out or something, I thought it was 11am?" They respond that it is at 11am but that they have us marked as already checked out. How? No idea. I say we will be out by 11am please do not bother us again. Four of us headed out to the lobby to order an uber for breakfast at 10:45. One stayed behind to use the bathroom and the housekeeping staff walked in on her in the bathroom, MOMENTS after we left, so we still had NOT checked out. Check out was also a disaster and took forever. We had spent four nights at another resort and you could really tell the difference in service (even though the price was not that much different). Either save your money and go to the Blue Marlin Motel for the same service at a fraction of the price or spend a touch more and enjoy a beautiful stay at Parrot Key Resort.

Very nice place to stay. Beach right across the street. The hotel has a very nice rooms pool and bar area. Our waitress was Camille at the Tin cup chalice and she was a doll. Only complaint was finicky magnet door keys. Convenient wristband style but not reliable. Do try to bring beach chairs because the rental is 50 bucks for 2 chairs daily. It is a Key west city beach and the vendor just takes advantage of his spot.

Boyfriend and I loved our stay. Shuttle to/form the airport was prompt and drivers were friendly. Actually all staff we interacted with were beyond nice and helpful. Check in was quick and the receptionist had margaritas upon arrival. Our king room was clean. Only thing missing was a place to dry our bathing suits. We ordered room service or ordered food from the bar as we had a meal credit part of reservation. Food was always so yummy and quick. Loved the free coffee and tea in the morning. Easy walk across the street to the beach. Best beach on key west in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again and plan to return with my family.

Absolutely loved my stay. I just checked out after a wonderful vacation. The staff was top notch and fun. The resort was the cleanest and nicest I've been. They have really turned it around since my last stay 3 years ago. Bus drivers are fun. Bingo is a book a knowledge and jokes. Thank you for everything !

Since the moment i walked in, nothing but good experiences has happened. The food and drinks were delicious, the staff were very kind and respectful, and the bus driver, bob, always managed to make me laugh every bus ride. The pool was nice. The beach was pretty good. and the hotel was very organized and spacious. Everything about this hotel has been positive, it is well decorated and has very kind staff that make you feel welcomed as soon as you step foot in the building.
