O lugar é excepcional, paradisíaco. Nós tivemos uma estadia inesquecível lá. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos, menção especial a Alex e Sandrine que durante esta estadia foram dois raios de sol.O único ponto negativo 👎 é que neste período sanitário complexo (cobiçado), não há pessoal suficiente para este estabelecimento, o que por vezes trouxe decepções para a nossa estadia, na espera demasiado longa e falta de organização em certos pontos. Tivemos uma explicação com o Alfred, o gerente e de fato o pessoal foi reduzido para respeitar as condições sanitárias da bitola de pessoas impostas pelo governo.Tivemos o prazer de desfrutar de uma 💆♂️ massagem profunda no Gazebo, embalados pelas ondas 🌊 e pelo vento 🌬.Para as refeições, o restaurante Azul é uma visita obrigatória, mesmo que o horário de atendimento seja bastante limitado. À noite, aproveite o pôr do sol 🌅 no Sunset Bar.
Swim out butler sunset room was gorgeous...all the workers were kind and went above and beyond....food was very good and the grounds were beautiful a little walk to the beach but the best all inclusive hotel in st martin
Indescribable, Ultra Friendly, Covid Safe, 10 STARS! First and foremost, this resort is SO CONSCIOUS about practicing COVID safety; temp checks, hand sanitizers EVERYWHERE and mandatory masks for guests and employees. Actually, all of this is practiced throughout the entire island. This island and resort are gems of the Caribbean. Upon arrival we were greeted by smiling faces and RUM punch! As we checked in, we requested an upgrade to a swim out pool suite and received a complimentary upgrade. Although the resort has only one restaurant open at a time, they rotate the menu so you get something different each day. And the FOOD, Azul's, The Pointe or room service, everything was OUTSTANDING. Given a chance, go for the steaks or beef tacos, they melt in your mouth. The server, bartenders and managers became like family! Special shoutout to Lorna and Anthony (managers), Vedette, Yovany, Nicole, Sashana, Angel, Diana (servers) and my favorite bartenders, Keric, Akeem and Romaine!! We even had a chance to personally meet the chef and thank him for his masterful work. Our room was kept spotless by a fabulous housekeeping staff. We never needed anything, all of these folks made sure our vacation was truly a 10 star experience. Oh yeah, I won't ruin it, but the minibar was.... INCREDIBLE. In the lobby was a NexusTour desk. They had something for us to do as often as we wanted. The catamaran tour and Rum tours are a must!!! The swimout suite was so much fun, water on the footsteps of our balcony! For shopping, jewelry for blue diamonds is OUTSTANDING. Only 2 jewelers were open near the resort. We ended up purchasing a couple of rings from Island Treasure Jewelers. The entire staff was friendly, with Sanket and Nash providing exceptional service and wonderful pricing. They even tossed in a pizza and drinks with our purchase (they own the pizzeria next door). This was our first and certainly not our last trip to this resort. Love and already miss everyone, Susan and Bob (the guy with the cigar mask)
Esta é realmente uma experiência cinco estrelas do início ao fim. Existem tantos rostos amigáveis (mesmo por trás da máscara) que eles levam a segurança a sério e há muitas estações de higienização de mãos por todo o resort. De alex, giovanni, camille no bar da piscina a Lorna, Diana, Simone no restaurante azul e Beatrix na recepção e akeem no bar do lobby, cigana a instrutora de ioga, Sinatra minha massagista, me senti um vip o tempo todo. Se eu deixei alguém de fora, sinto muito. Todos vocês são a razão de eu continuar voltando !!!!! Experiência fantástica a cada vez
Resort incrível! Desde a toalha aromática quente e um ponche de rum de boas-vindas à cozinha impecável do Azul ao serviço de quarto rápido, este resort é perfeito! A equipe é lindamente simpática e acolhedora. À procura de um tudo incluído em Sint Maarten, não procure mais!
This is truly a five star experience from start to finish. There are so many friendly faces (even behind the mask) they're serious about safety and there are plenty of hand sanitizing stations all over the resort. Due to covid, there are limited number of restaurants and activities available. But i actually love it. Feels like i have the resort to myself.. From alex, giovanni, camille at the pool bar to Lorna, Diana, Simone at azul restaurant and Beatrix at the front desk and akeem at the lobby bar, gypsy the yoga instructor, Sinatra my masseuse, i felt like a vip the whole time. If i left anyone out, I'm soo sorry. You all are the reason i keep coming back!!!!! Fantastic experience each time
Amazing resort! From the warm aromatic towel and a welcome rum punch to the impeccable cuisine at Azul to the prompt room service, this resort is perfect! The staff is beautifully friendly and accommodating. Looking for an all inclusive in Sint Maarten, look no further!

Staff are honest which is always 5 stars in my book. My husband had forgotten his expensive prescription glasses and iPhone which was returned to us by staff. Integrity is hard to find and much appreciated. We felt safe on the island and used taxis to explore different sites . Everyone was very welcoming

O lado do oceano do resort é incrível em comparação com o edifício da praia de Sonesta Maho. Tudo foi ótimo. A comida. O serviço. Os quartos. No entanto, fiquei para trabalhar e não voltaria com o meu próprio dinheiro. Porque este lado é apenas para adultos. O que é bom. Mas o outro prédio onde você pode ter filhos está cheio de pessoas barulhentas e as opções de comida são simplesmente terríveis. Assim como os quartos e o serviço !!! Já escrevi uma crítica para esse lado.Meu problema é quando viajo com meu filho bem comportado e minha esposa, ainda quero dormir em um quarto silencioso e desfrutar da melhor comida. Que você não tem permissão para ter neste resort. E o outro lado é tão terrível que eu não ficaria lá com minha família nunca. Eu prefiro ir para o antigo hotel de Simpson Bay!Sonesta, por favor, analise as opções de férias em família para as pessoas !!! Eu também gostaria de comer um bom jantar e curtir a noite em um pátio com música ao vivo com minha família !!!!
Firstly I must say that the hotel staff were very accommodating.. They messed up my room preference, but Alfred at the front desk did everything in his power to fix it, and he accomplished my request. (I booked a ocean view room) all of the staff were friendly and made my stay enjoyable. My room was perfect, as seen on the photos. I've been to many resorts before so I'm able to compare. Some places were well kept, others were unkept. They said they serve premium drinks, and they didn't have my simple rum (Malibu coconut)Also, they claim that the Resort is adults only,that's a lie.. Because they're close to the Mayo beach resort, they share some facilities, so there were definitely kids around, yelling playing and screaming..No offense for the little ones, but I want what I paid for.If I wanted to be in a family resort I would expect to hear children. So this is very misleading..In addition they also need to fix their ice machines at the Point bar, we couldn't get any drinks that required ice because they were out of ice for over two hours. Some of the guests had to go get ice in an ice machine on the floor that they were staying. The guests offered to do it because a lot of us needed drinks. The ice machine made like 30 cubes every two hours. A bar running out of ice is like running out of oxygen. I had access to go to other bars, but a lot of people who were there at the time didn't. The traffic that comes through the point bar and Palms Tree bar, they definitely need to hire more than one bartender! We stood there at least 45 minutes before we got our drinks . Those HARD WORKING guys will eventually get overwhelmed and the quality of service will start to decrease.. They also need to hire more staff at the Mayo resort check-in . They're larger groups of people, so more staff should be there to help the process go smoothly.. I was waiting there by accident, because I was directed there by a staff member. I stayed at the Ocean point , but wasat the Mayo resort check-in at least an hour, and the line didn't move.. So be prepared to wait .. The Ocean pointcheck-in was faster .The staff at the resort works extremely HARD!! I would be back because I truly appreciated them! From the front desk Alfred helped me get the room I wanted, Frank the bartender ( inside the Ocean point lobby bar) made my drinks perfectly. See you again!Overall a good Resort, just not five star quality..
First question would be are they recovered from the hurricane.On the surface, yes, but if you look closely you will see that there is still work going on and some of the work that was done was obviously slapped together very quickly to get them into operation.Good points: the view is fantastic.The facilities are nice.Housekeeping was really on their game.The rooms were clean, minibar was checked often, turn-down service checked on towels and minibar too.OK points: If you like plane spotting, this is a great location.If you don't like plane noise, not a great location.Food is average, and they seem to struggle to keep up at peak times.Only two restaurants in the adults only portion, and I thought the restaurants on the Maho Beach side were slightly lower quality.We had the butler service in our room, and I did not find that I was able to take advantage of this service enough to provide me with value - for the extra price I can do without it.Bad points: I felt at times as though people weren't really listening to me.They would let me speak but not really hear what I was saying.It felt a little like they knew better than I what I wanted.Information is available but a little hard to find.All in all, I could see myself staying here again, but making a few different choices on the next trip.
The ocean point side of the resort is amazing comparing to Sonesta Maho beach building. Everything was great. The food. The service. The rooms. However I stayed for work and wouldn't return on my own money. Because this side is adults only. Which is all good. But the other building where you can have kids is filled with loud noisy people and the food options are just terrible. So are the rooms and service!!! I already wrote a review for that side.My issue is when I travel with my well behaved child and wife is I still want to sleep in a quiet room and enjoy the better food. Which you are not allowed to have in this resort. And the other side is just so terrible I would not stay there with my family ever. I would rather go to the old hotel by Simpson Bay!Please Sonesta look into your family vacation options for people!!! I too would like to eat a good dinner and enjoy the evening on a patio with live music with my family!!!!
