Lindo local com serviço de primeira. Único hotel da Ocean Dr que não é estilo art deco, mas é estilo vitoriano. Sem duvida 5 estrelas. Tem um quarto gratuito para escritores que se disponham a dar palestras no final da tarde no restaurante. Os quartos são pequenos, mas charmosos. O Hotel é de antes de 1950 e mantém a estrutura original.

EVERYTHING was on point at the Betsy. Perfect location just on the outer edge of the Ocean Drive craziness, and a very short walk to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas included in the resort fee were super useful. The coffee shop on the Collins Ave side of the building was great for a morning pick-me-up. Wonderful drinks and live music in the evenings make the lobby feel so elegant. The two pools were nice and peaceful. Fritzner and Antonio at the front desk were always willing to help with whatever we needed each day. My only wish was that the prices direct through Betsy's website were more competitive, since I prefer to book direct and I know that it's financially advantageous for the owners as well. Great work, Betsy team. We WILL be back!

We loved everything about this hotel. So unique and well done in every aspect. There were so many little nooks and crannies to explore- a library, pool, cafe, many little places to sit down and read. Very dog friendly, our chihuahua was in heaven. Also the staff was so friendly - thanks Juan for great care. We will for sure be back next time we are in south beach.

I booked this hotel completely by random and couldn't have been more excited and impressed upon my arrival. Travel Lesson 1: Whenever you enter the lobby of a hotel and are immediately handed a glass of Prosecco, you probably made a good choice! The room was amazing. The lobby was so relaxing and inviting. The location and view are premier. The service can be rated well over 5 stars by all of the staff. Special mention to Val, Alex, and Hector. You guys made us feel like we were old acquaintances . Friendliness goes a long way in the service industry, and this hotel know how to make you feel extremely welcomed! Thanks, Jonathan, for creating a wonderful escape!

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Great bar with live music and has outside seating which is great for people watching. perfect location and easy access to beach with chairs/towels available at the beach from the hotel. Nice terrace pool as well. We were upgraded to a suite facing ocean drive and it was wonderful experience all around. Would definitely come back.

The Betsy has areally good location,both for the beach and all of the activity of Ocean Drive. The lobby,the bar,and the restaurant have a really good vibe/ cool atmosphere/ live music.Service was also really good.Unfortunately, the rooms are very small.The bathroom is simply too small.The shower is just tiny. You will be touching the side walls while you are dancing around to get a drop of water to hit you.Very weak pressure and mild, never hot water.The water took nearly five minutes to reach warm. The bathroom floor is then soaked since the European style shower has no door because if you had a door it would hit the toilet.The rooftop pool is nice and does have a bar. The hotel restaurant is recognized as one of the best in the area.They do have a beach area for hotel guests, but it is intermingled into the fully public/ very busy beach with no services on the beach.

The customer service has went completely downhill. This was my favorite hotel pre pandemic.On a positive note; the hotel grounds are lovely. The food was good. The rooms lovely. However; there customer service is not up to par.1.When I was leaving the hotel. I was mistreated by management and majority of the front desk staff. They called security to wait outside the bathroom for me as I was changing to leave to the airport. It was very catty and uncalled for. I had no prior conflicts. possibly envy)2.Caucasian doorman(forgot his name) almost slammed a door in my face, refused to carry my luggage to my taxi. I honestly do believe him and some of the front desk have trouble tending to people of color.3.I would not stay here again as a solo female traveler. I would try other establishments in the area.

Hopefully not to work as much!Hotel has so many spaces to enjoy. You’re welcome everywhere throughout. Any minor blips were always taken care of with concern and respect. We stayed here in January 2022 for 8 days.We had two rooms -- a king suite and a double, and both were excellent, clean, and well-appointed.The rooms were clean and quiet.Our king suite had a balcony onto an atrium and it was lovely, despite not being an ocean-view room.We didn't have much interaction with the staff, though that's because everything was really as it should be, and didn't require any intervention.The rooftop pool was relatively small, but in perfect condition, with excellent bar service.Other rooftop lounge nooks provided opportunities to hang out without being crowded by other guests.The hotel restaurant is good, if expensive; I recommend looking at other options for food, including The Front Porch Cafe (half a block away), FL Cafe (about a block away), and Maxine's Bistro & Bar (a well-worth-it 4-block walk from the Betsy).Only one concern to flag for prospective visitors -- finding your room is not as easy as you might hope; be *sure* to pay attention to what the front desk staff says about how to get to your room -- there are multiple elevators and multiple "buildings" (though all connected) that make getting to your room the first time (and maybe second and third, if you're like me) a little confusing.Definitely just listen carefully as the staff directs you -- and be sure to look at the map that they give you.And enjoy your stay -- we certainly did!

Nuestra estadía fue ¡maravillosa! Todo el personal del hotel fue muy amable y atento. Desde el primer momento nos ayudaron con el equipaje, a conseguir taxis, lugares donde comer etc. Especialmente Fritz, quien hizo de nuestra estadía una muy buena experiencia con su amabilidad. Así también Daphney quien nos ayudo con todas nuestras dudas y check out. Las instalaciones cómodas y el desayuno increíble, muy buena ubicación. Pero sin lugar a dudas la calidad humana del personal impagable. Volvería mil veces.

Roby y and Art es de personas atentas y con mucho ❤️. Además que el Hotel ofrece mucha calidad . Es en centro de south beach .

La atencion, el servicio y la comido del hotel fue excelente. Disfrutamos del air show por el memorial day weekend, en la terraza del hotel. Un exquisito BBQ. La atencion y el tratodel general manager Steven, del manager Matt, del concierge Paul Drecg y de la mesera Marisella, nos hicieron sentir como VIP, a pesar que no estamos hospedados en el hotel.Muchisimas gracias a todos. Se pasa una velada inolvidable sobre todo en la noche cenando en los portales del hotel mientras se siente la brisa del mar. No sé si elegimos bien la mesa porque luego dentro había música y nos la estábamos perdiendo. De todas formas para la próxima nos sentaremos dentro, sin dudas. Bello todo en el lobby. Da la sensación de viajar en el tiempo. Fue un encuentro con la elegancia.

Genial. Muy bien atendidos, excelente cocina, decoración a la altura. Ojo! No es barato, tampoco es caro para estar donde está. 2 personas, sin excesos 180 dólares. Es lo q hay en Miami si quieres calidad. Volveré y lo recomendaré.
