Had a great stay at the laylow. We stayed for 5 nights and would definitely come back. Staff were helpful and very friendly and the room was modern and clean and very comfortable. We loved hanging by the pool and relaxing, the amenities and of course Hideout! The gift basket on arrival was a nice surprise and we enjoyed the daily free activities in reception. The hotel is in a great location and the concierge is super helpful if you need assistance or ideas for activities.
This boutique hotel made my family's trip with their amazing service, convenient location in the heart of Waikiki, but value price. Clean rooms, we had a decent view of the Friday night fireworks. Happy hour and live music were great! And who can't forget about the free shaved iced and poolside activities! Definitely will be staying here again.
A nice little boutique hotel that is still part of the Bonvoy group. Very friendly and accommodating staff. When you get to your room there is a nice amenity selection for you. I travel over half the month and the best part for me is that the rooms really are clean. Not like many hotels that only superficially clean. You can see they really do a good job. Even the glasses in the room are sealed in plastic wrapping. The furniture is well kept. The only unfortunate thing is that most rooms have a view of a parking lot.
We had a great time at the Laylow Autograph Hotel! Everything was clean, and comfortable each day when we returned back to the hotel! Love the 2 king size beds!! We never had that option before! Wished they were a bit more firm though. The reception workers were very welcoming and pleasant! Love their free icy at 1-2pm which we thought was a great and fun added experience for all ages! We love the gift basket they provided to welcome us! The slippers were super useful and a great added memorabilia! We felt relaxed and the rooms were quite soundproofed as we couldn’t hear our neighbour’s at all!😄 Best of all their air conditioners worked really well!! The hotel is at a very central location close to everything within walking distance! We didn’t get any views in our room unfortunately but, overall thanks for a great time!!😄
Such an amazing place! 6 of us travelled here 4 adults and 2 children and had 2 King size rooms. The hotel is clean and everyone is so friendly. The kids loved the pool (of course) and the shaved ice every day was amazing. Everything about our experience was fantastic. The food and coffee at the hideaway restaurant was phenomenal. Plus kids crafts every day and live music weekend evenings! I would absolutely travel here again and I am recommending this place to all of my friends. Thank you for a great stay!
The hotel and room was great - very comfortable and great location. The staff were very friendly and check in was seamless. The welcome gift basket was also a very nice touch. I am giving only 4 stars since we usually to get drinks at the hotel bar / lounge wherever we stay; however, we could not get a seat at the bar (Hideout) for the first two nights there, even when we tried to book a day ahead of time. We considered cancelling the rest of our reservation but didn't want the hassle of packing up.
We stayed here two years ago and had a good time. This time again, after a ton of research and comparison, we ended up booking Laylow for a week and enjoyed the time very much! The best location, in the central of everything. Really like the vibe here and the staff are really helpful and accommodating. Special Kudos to Ashley at front desk. We loved our vacation here very much!
Great stay! Design and decor of hotel very unique to Hawaii and worth staying here. Nice to sit outside at pool and restaurant. Rooms a very good size and comfortable. Near a ton of great restaurants, terrific location within Waikiki. Very friendly staff, forgot my cap at reception and they went out of their way to get it back and be kind to me. Only drawbacks which give it 4.5 stars rounded up to five: some of the rooms have views only of the buildings next to them; when parking lot occupied you have to drive to international marketplace lot which is a hassle, and despite being on award stay and lots of things closed still charged full resort fee. But overall this is a fun, cheerful and comfortable place to stay and I’m looking forward to spending my next time in Waikiki here.
Love this hotel. Always nice and clean and staff are wonderful. Also, sometimes they leve nice good baskets in your room... won’t say of what, I’ll let you all enjoy the surprise!
Nossa viagem desta vez foi de apenas duas noites de estadia. Oferece um bom serviço em uma localização privilegiada, sem grandes contas. Nós vamos ficar aqui novamente no futuro.
Comida era ok, adoro o design de interiores do espaço, o serviço de bar foi ótimo, mas o anfitrião foi muito pouco profissional. Isso meio que arruinou toda a experiência. Fiz uma reserva e foi claro onde gostaríamos de sentar. Quando chegamos quando o restaurante abriu às 5, o anfitrião ainda nos sentou ao lado do bar porque as mesas que eu queria eram para grupos maiores que ela designou, o que foi bom. Mas eu vi que ela sentou dois caras na mesa que eu queria um momento depois. Quando perguntei sobre isso, ela disse que era porque os dois rapazes concordaram em ir embora antes da chegada da festa. Ela nunca nos ofereceu essa opção sabendo que eu realmente não queria sentar-me no bar. De qualquer forma, pedimos para ir para uma mesa e concordamos em sair quando a festa chegar. Quando ela mudou nossas coisas, ela ainda caminhou para outra mesa diferente das que eu queria inicialmente. Não sei qual era o problema dela em não deixar ninguém sentar-se às mesas quando a festa que ela designou para a mesa claramente nunca apareceu nas primeiras duas horas quando eu estava lá, ou até o momento em que saí. Uma vez trabalhei como anfitrião e entendo que às vezes você precise deixar as mesas para grandes festas, mas você ainda pode deixar as pessoas sentarem lá primeiro quando a reserva foi feita muito mais tarde, especialmente quando eles concordam em sair. O host é muito ruim no gerenciamento das atribuições de mesa. Havia muitas mesas abertas e ainda muitas pessoas estavam esperando ou não puderam entrar porque “não havia mesa”.
La comida estaba bien, me encanta el diseño interior del espacio, el servicio del bar fue excelente, pero el anfitrión fue muy poco profesional. Arruinó un poco toda la experiencia. Hice una reserva y tuve claro dónde nos gustaría sentarnos. Cuando llegamos cuando el restaurante abrió por primera vez a las 5, el anfitrión todavía nos sentó junto a la barra porque las mesas que quería eran para grupos más grandes que ella asignó, lo cual estaba bien. Pero vi que sentaba a dos tipos junto a la mesa que quería un momento después. Cuando le pregunté sobre eso, dijo que era porque esos dos chicos acordaron irse antes de que llegara la fiesta. Ella nunca nos ofreció esa opción sabiendo que realmente no quería estar sentada en la barra. De todos modos, pedimos que nos cambiaran a una mesa y acordamos irnos cuando llegara la fiesta. Cuando movió nuestras cosas, todavía caminó hacia otra mesa de las que yo quería inicialmente. No sé cuál fue su problema al no dejar que nadie se sentara junto a esas mesas cuando la fiesta que asignó a la mesa claramente nunca apareció en las primeras dos horas cuando estuve allí, o hasta el momento en que me fui. Una vez trabajé como anfitrión y entiendo que a veces tienes que dejar las mesas para las grandes fiestas, pero aún puedes dejar que las personas se sienten allí primero cuando la reserva se hizo mucho más tarde, especialmente cuando aceptan irse. El anfitrión es muy malo en la gestión de las asignaciones de la mesa. Había muchas mesas abiertas y todavía había toneladas de personas esperando o no las dejaban entrar porque “no había mesa”.
Our trip this time was only two night stay. It provides good service in a prime location without big bills. We will stay here again in the future.
Food was okay, love the interior design of the space, bar service was great but the host was very unprofessional. It kinda ruined the whole experience. I made a reservation and was clear about where we would like to be seated. When we arrived when the restaurant first opened at 5, the host still sat us by the bar because the tables I wanted were for larger groups she assigned which was fine. But I saw she seated two guys by the table I wanted a moment later. When I asked about that she said it was because those two guys agreed to leave before the party arrives. She never offered that option to us knowing I really did not want to be seated by the bar. Anyways, we asked to move to a table and agreed to leave when the party arrives. When she moved our stuff over, she still walked to another table than the ones I wanted initially. I don’t know what was her problem not letting anyone to sit by those tables when the party she assigned to the table clearly never showed up in the first two hours when I was there, or til the moment I left. I once worked as a host and I understand that sometime you need to leave tables for big parties, but you can still let people sit there first when the reservation was made a lot later especially when they agree to leave. The host is very bad at managing the table assignments. There were lots of open tables and still tons of people were waiting or not being let in because there were “no table”.

Mãos para baixo a melhor experiência de comida que tivemos em Honolulu e a música ao vivo e ambiente geral foi simplesmente estelar! Altamente recomendado!!!
Cama espaçosa e confortável; limpo e parece novo ... embora seja mais caro do que por exemplo, pátio Marriott .. mas acho que vale o preço. Se não estiver no pico, é apenas 230-300 usd

Spacious and comfortable bed; clean and looks new... though it is more expensive than eg courtyard Marriott .. but I think worth the price. If not at peak, it is just 230-300 usd
This place is a GEM!!! Amazing vibe and super trendy retro decor. Very comfortable and welcoming also. Now to their restaurant, the Hideout...AMAZING!!! Hands down the best food experience we had in Honolulu and the live music and overall ambiance was just stellar! Highly recommend!!!
Fui para o Esconderijo para um jantar tardio, gosto que a cozinha deles esteja aberta um pouco mais tarde do que a maioria, mas naquela noite eles estavam deixando os clientes vagarem sem máscaras, uma vez que estavam sentados. Depois de sentados, os clientes subiam ao bar, aos banheiros, trocavam de mesa, tudo sem máscaras e eu via os funcionários verem e não falarem nada. Mas a tigela de arroz estava boa.
Estadia fantástica no laylow! Se você está cansado da experiência de resort em Oahu, mas não confia na vibração do Airbnb, este lugar é isso. A apenas alguns quarteirões da praia, mas a varanda e as comodidades mais do que compensam. Excelente e calorosa equipe e o bar são excelentes mytais!
Fantastic stay at the laylow! If you’re tired of the resort experience in Oahu, yet don’t trust the Airbnb vibe, this place is it. Just a few blocks away from the beach, but the balcony and amenities more than make up for it. Great and warm staff and the bar makes excellent mytais!
Went to the Hideout for a late dinner, I like that their kitchen is open a little later than most, but that night they were letting the customers roam without masks once they were seated. After being seated, customers were going up to the bar, to the restrooms, changing tables, all without wearing masks and I watched employees see this and say nothing. But the rice bowl was good.
Este foi um hotel Marriott bastante bem cotado, categoria 6, então eu esperava que o hotel fosse bastante bom. Os quartos foram refeitos e estavam bem, mas as áreas comuns em geral um pouco desatualizadas. Eles não tinham estacionamento, então tinham que estacionar no shopping próximo todos os dias. Devido à Covid, eles não estavam fazendo manutenção nos quartos, a menos que fosse programado, razoável, então agendei um meio da minha estadia quando fiz o check-in. Eles nunca apareceram Quando liguei, eles se desculparam e disseram que viriam no dia seguinte, eles apareceram, mas apenas para receber a gorjeta de $ 10 que eu os deixei. Eles não tocaram em mais nada, apenas pegaram o dinheiro e a nota de agradecimento. Eu estava sem toalhas e papel higiênico naquele momento, então liguei para a recepção novamente. Tenho outra resposta, oops, desculpe. Eu gosto de sacadas, então reservei um quarto com uma para que eu pudesse sentar e aproveitar o início da manhã nela. Os aparelhos de ar-condicionado que ficavam em frente à minha vista da cidade, que na verdade eram uma estrutura de estacionamento com vista ao nível dos olhos, eram incrivelmente barulhentos, sentar na varanda era mais irritante do que relaxante. Também tive que ligar para a manutenção para que o chuveiro escoasse. Também poderia usar uma mini aula sobre a diferença entre um tapete de banho e uma toalha de banho. Quando você pede uma toalha de banho, pode acabar usando um tapete de banho.
This was a fairly highly rated Marriott hotel, category 6, so I expected the hotel to be fairly nice. The rooms had been redone and were okay but the common areas overall a bit outdated. They had no parking so had to park at the nearby mall everyday. It rained a lot which left me walking in the rain to the hotel and back whenever I went anywhere in the car. Due to Covid they weren’t servicing rooms unless scheduled, reasonable, so I scheduled one half way through my stay when I first checked in.They never showed up. When I called they apologized and said they’d come the next day, they did show up, but only to take the $10 tip I left them. They touched nothing else, just took the money and the thank you note. I was out of towels and toilet paper at that point so I called the front desk again. Got another oops sorry answer. I enjoy balconies so I made sure I booked a room with one so I could sit and enjoy the early morning on it. The air conditioning units that were directly across from my city view, which as actually a parking structure eye level view, was so incredibly loud, sitting on the balcony was more annoying than relaxing. Also had to call maintenance to get the shower to drain. Also could use a mini lesson in the difference between a bath mat and bath towel. When you call for a bath towel you might find yourself with a bath mat instead.

A cesta de boas-vindas foi incrível e o café no andar térreo tinha um menu incrível e super conveniente. É um pouco acima do barulho, mas não espere uma bela vista (o meu era de um estacionamento). Recomende! Cada detalhe é fofo e festivo.

Super cute hotel in the heart of Waikiki. Welcome basket was amazing and the cafe downstairs had an amazing menu and super convenient. It’s a bit above the noise but don’t expect a great view (mine was of a parking garage). Recommend! Every detail is cute and festive.

El hotel boutique está bien, la ubicación muy buena, pero esta fatal que a la salida de la estancia te hagan cargos por uso de alberca, por uso de gimnasio, por uso de wifi, etcétera...no importa si los ocupaste o no.
