Stayed here for a special birthday trip to Rome and it is perfect! The room was so comfortable, with air conditioning, the most comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom with rain shower.
This isn't a hotel or traditional bed and breakfast, but that's its charm. It's a collection of Roman style apartments. Breakfast is collected from the kitchen and proper Italian coffee is made by the lovely hostesses. There were sandwiches, croissants, cake, fruit, yoghurt and juices as well as biscuits and tea. Was plenty of good for a hearty breakfast.
The hosts were lovely and booked is taxis, gave us directions and advice and we're so friendly.
Location wise you're 2 minutes from the Vatican and approximately 5 seconds from the bus stop and a bus that takes you to all the main attractions.
If you're looking for somewhere comfortable, with an excellent location and a bit different I cannot recommend Pope's Window highly enough. We had a fantastic stay!

Beautiful, well located b&b 2 minutes walk from Vatican City. Best hostess we've encountered, went out of her way to make us feel welcome. When we arrived before check-in, she allowed us to drop our bags in the hall and she even moved then into the room for us. It was the most comfortable bed we had during our entire week and a half we were in Europe, and best sleep I had! There's an elevator, which use nice. Just a great experience, I wish we had had more time! Only minor concern, which is due to the older building, but the drainage was pretty weird. Even after just washing hands, it took several minutes for the water to drain. Really it was a lovely stay and we would absolutely go back!

Cheapest place to stay in Rome. You get what you pay for with this place. Whilst the place felt clean, as we had our rooms cleaned daily..there were ants in our bathroom and in the kitchen. There was no dining area to sit so had to eat in our rooms, which was nice but a communal space would've been nice for us to talk to other travellers.
The staff were lovely! They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. They were very helpful, they came in early to serve breakfast when we had early starts, they were very friendly and booked the tours for us.
The facilities were limited but you get what you pay for here. We had a hairdryer, safe and a kettle in our room. Teas were refilled daily. The breakfast was nice but limited and the same everyday. Served were croissants, toast, jams, Nutella, yoghurts, ham/cheese rolls, and cakes. We were disappointed there was no fruit, but you get what you pay for.
Despite this, we had a lovely stay, and would stay here again for the price if we return to Roma.
