We booked a bungalow with a sea view and it was modern and very comfortable! Beautiful view from the balcony, really tidy, and the hotel area is well-maintained and looked after. The breakfast was quite good with traditional Greek coffee and delights. The massage was also a great addition to a relaxing holiday - the room is so nicely designed.A private beach is really beautiful with crystal clear water and the mountain view on the other side. The beach itself is quite small and gets sun only in the afternoon but upstairs there are really comfy sunbeds and a beach bar. The location is 12km from Kalamata and it is a village, so there is nothing else to do. If you rent a car, there are nice surroundings to visit, there is rare public transport too or taxis that are not expensive. Reservamos um bangalô com vista para o mar e era moderno e muito confortável! Linda vista da varanda, muito arrumada, e a área do hotel é bem conservada e cuidada. O café da manhã era muito bom com café grego tradicional e delícias. A massagem também foi um ótimo complemento para umas férias relaxantes - o quarto é tão bem projetado. Uma praia particular é realmente linda com água cristalina e vista para a montanha do outro lado. A praia em si é bastante pequena e recebe sol apenas à tarde, mas no andar de cima há espreguiçadeiras muito confortáveis e um bar de praia. A localização fica a 12 km de Kalamata e é uma vila, então não há mais nada a fazer. Se você alugar um carro, há arredores agradáveis para visitar, há raros transportes públicos também ou táxis que não são caros.

O quarto era muito bom e confortável, as áreas externas muito boas. Mas mesmo que estivéssemos lá para trabalhar e eles soubessem disso, eles nos deram o quarto mais remoto com subidas e degraus e tivemos que caminhar "quilômetros". Além disso, o ar condicionado na área de recepção e restaurante nunca funcionou, embora fosse bastante quente dia e noite. Nós literalmente fervemos no restaurante. O destaque foi quando, após o jantar, queríamos sentar nas mesas do lado de fora do restaurante, não havia tomada externa em nenhum lugar para os laptops etc. Então, depois de encontrar nossa própria tomada, usamos a tomada de dentro do restaurante. Quando era hora de fechar, dissemos ao garçom para deixar o plugue (não era um problema) e iríamos buscá-lo na manhã em que o restaurante reabrisse. De fato, o homem disse ok, depois de um tempo ele veio e nos disse que a pessoa responsável na recepção lhe disse que isso não pode ser feito. Quando pedimos a ela para usar outra tomada, não foi possível. Em suma, a equipe da recepção não tinha atitude de serviço. Pelo contrário, a equipe do restaurante estava bem. Os preços, cerveja, café excessivo. A praia abaixo do hotel simplesmente não é uma praia, é uma bagunça.

Increíble resort con increíbles jardines e instalaciones modernas. Piscina muy bonita... La comida en el restaurante simplemente perfecta... El personal del hotel era amable y muy educado. La habitación fue renovada con una hermosa vista. Por último, el chiringuito del hotel es ideal para relajarse.

La habitación estaba muy bien y cómoda, las zonas exteriores bastante bien. Pero a pesar de que estábamos allí por trabajo y ellos lo sabían, nos dieron la habitación más remota con subidas y escalones y teníamos que caminar "millas". Además, el aire acondicionado en el área de recepción y el restaurante nunca funcionó a pesar de que hacía bastante calor día y noche. Literalmente hervimos en el restaurante. Lo más destacado fue cuando después de la cena queríamos sentarnos en las mesas fuera del restaurante, no había ningún enchufe externo en ninguna parte para las computadoras portátiles, etc. Entonces, después de encontrar nuestro propio enchufe, usamos el enchufe del interior del restaurante. Cuando llegó la hora de cerrar le dijimos al camarero que dejara el enchufe puesto (no fue un problema) y lo recogeríamos la mañana que reabriera el restaurante. Efectivamente el hombre dijo ok, después de un rato vino y nos dijo que el encargado de la recepción le dijo que eso no se puede hacer. Cuando le pedimos que usara otro enchufe, no fue posible. En resumen, el personal de la recepción no tenía actitud de servicio. Por el contrario, el personal del restaurante estaba bien. Los precios, cerveza, café excesivo. La playa debajo del hotel simplemente no es una playa, es un desastre.

Hermosa vista desde el balcón, muy ordenada, y el área del hotel está bien mantenida y cuidada. El desayuno era bastante bueno con café griego tradicional y delicias. El masaje también fue una gran adición a unas vacaciones relajantes: la habitación está muy bien diseñada. Una playa privada es realmente hermosa con aguas cristalinas y la vista de la montaña al otro lado. La playa en sí es bastante pequeña y solo recibe sol por la tarde, pero arriba hay tumbonas muy cómodas y un chiringuito. La ubicación está a 12 km de Kalamata y es un pueblo, por lo que no hay nada más que hacer. Si alquila un automóvil, hay un entorno agradable para visitar, también hay transporte público raro o taxis que no son caros.

Stayed at Akti Taygetos twice in the last two years. It's an excellent hotel located just outside Kalamata, on the coastline of Mikri Matineia.Modern and spacious rooms. Pool, or its own seside access and restaurant-bar. Professional staff, courteous and always at your attention.If you are looking for an accomodation in Kalamata I definitely recommend. Will visit again next year.

A beautiful setting for this hotel and the hotel itself is lovely. We had a bungalow room which was nice but the bed was rock hard i had pain all week the bathroom was dated and tatty but serviceable. The staff were all lovely breakfast was good but the cooked food was stone cold . And the evening meal was often stone cold and we had a buffet 4 nights which looked and was awful it had been left out for ages all cold i think it was 2 star food at best. Please improve next year keeping the food hot !!

We stayed for a week and had a wonderful experience. We have a 1 year old son and the staff were super accommodating in preparing food especially for him (that was not on the menu) access to the beach is veru convenient.
Overall we had a very good time and a special mention to each and everyone part of the staff - they are extremely helpful and were quick with all our requests. There's even an in house masseuse if one wants to unwind after a long day at the beach or the pool !
Will definitely recommend staying here.

We spent two nights at this hotel. Although the hotel is quite beautiful, and it is priced as a five start hotel, our room ( regular rooms NOT “suites”) was quite dated. We would not mind being “dated”, but what was horrible was the beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable - felt like sleeping on a plank of wood. Not to mention the TV set in the room was the size of a computer screen. Yes the breakfast was very good, the wait staff is very attentive, and the private beach is beautiful - but for the price you pay we feel the rooms should be upgraded as are the suites or at the very least change the mattresses to something that the clients are not in pain every morning.
We will not be returning as we went to another boutique hotel which gave us more for less money. Thank you

I was mesmerized from the Akti Taygetos as the location and the services were great. The room was very comfy and well decorated. All the food was delightful acompined with a great wine. I have to mentioned the progressive attidute for the services as I had an electic car and was nessecery to be charged. Congratulations!!

Nice and quiet place near Kalamata. The pool has a good temperature. With an elevator and a tunnel you can go to the private beach without crossing the street. There a two bars with nice snacks and fair prices. The coffee is € 3,- and a club sandwich (really big portion) is € 7,50. The rooms are clean but I would recommend to book the suits and not the rooms in the main building. The main building is older and so are the rooms. If you don‘t want to stay at the hotelcomplex all the time I would recommend to rent a car. There a fantastic restaurants next to this place but a bit too far and also too dangerous to walk on the street.
