Bar Harbor is a great tourist town that is absolutely beautiful. I stopped here as a stop during my cruise. I noticed that there aren't many franchises here and they're all privately owned. Walk around town and take some cool pictures. Talk to the locals and try their famous seafood.

This is a great place to go. The only bad thing now is you have to pay to park anywhere in Bar Harbor and the way it's set up is a little backwards to say the least.
