We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in Barcelo Torre de Madrid at the beginning of May. From the moment we arrived and we were greeted by the concierge, the service was exemplary. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. A special mention to the very helpful reception lady who checked us in to our rooms and explained everything about the hotel to us.The room (402) was stunning, with a modern and light decor. The view of the city of Madrid from our balcony was phenomenal. The room was very clean & tidy and serviced to a high standard each day. The shower was amazing. Our only small criticism of the room was that one of the hooks in the bathroom for towels was coming lose, and the socket on the wall by the kettle was coming lose.The hotel is situated on Plaza Espana which also features a lovely green space, great for evening walks. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of most of Madrid's main attractions. We regularly availed of the beautiful refreshing swimming pool situated on the 8th floor. After a long day exploring Madrid it was a lovely way to refresh for the evening. Note: you must book a slot and wear a swimming hat. We also took the opportunity to indulge in a lovely massage provided by the hotel.We ate in the hotel restaurant, Somos, on more than one occasion, and each time we were served by the lovely waiter, whose name we believe was Anton. He was very friendly and exceptionally good at his job. The food we had was very tasty. The breakfast provided at the hotel was wonderful. There was a wide variety of choice from salads, to fresh fruit and cooked food to churros & bakery items. The juices available were refreshing too, particularly the peach juice. On our last morning at breakfast we met a lovely manageress who was very courteous & professional and made us feel valued as guests.Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel, and should we return to Madrid this hotel would be our number one choice.
Um hotel fantástico em uma localização maravilhosa, entre a Gran Via e a Escadaria Espanhola. Vista encantadora, funcionários muito gentis, simpáticos, acolhedores e disponíveis para todas as necessidades. Os quartos são fantásticos e equipados com todo o conforto. O café da manhã é maravilhoso e cheio de comida internacional da melhor qualidade com a adição de especialidades espanholas. Uma estadia verdadeiramente de sonho.
Ambiente muy agradable y un trato excelente por parte del personal del hotel. Cenamos en un reservado del restaurante Somos con unas vistas increíbles. La atención por parte del staff fue impecable y muy profesional. Los platos están elaborados con productos de primera calidad y presentados con mucho gusto. Todo un acierto, ¡Volveremos!
This was our home away from home for four days. BTM has an eclectic, modern feel where the interior design and lighting is oh so Spanish chic. Service was on-point: from the ever present doorman to the catering of requests (birthday breakfast in bed, taking courier delivery) was done with no hassles. The pool and sauna was spotless clean, although the need for appointment can be as seem gratuitous. Location of this hotel, at the door step of Plaza Espana train stop, and on Gran Via makes it perfect walking to everywhere, without it being too crazy with pedestrians. The lobby on 2nd floor makes great viewing for Madrilenos-watching, the populus doing their thing at the plaza, from dancing, chilling to protesting. Twas a warm, enjoyable stay. Gracias.
This hotel certainly does NOT deserve five stars. For such price better book some other place. The level of services they provide is not worth it: 1. Breakfast starts very late, at 7:30, usually you leave for work around this hour 2. Swimming pool opening hours are a joke - forget about morning/evening swim 3. Some fruit during breakfast stay there for long enough to start to get rotten 4. There was "additional passenger" in the room on the next day, a cockroach (pic attached). They were observed in other rooms also, so better look through your belongings carefully before you get back home. 5. There air-conditioning was not working and it was very hot during the day + I really liked the button-enabled water in the shower, that was really cool and comfortable. + there was a phone in the toilet, if you feel lonely ;) Considering the above, better book a stay in some other hotel, for sure you will get better price and better services.
Hotel increíble, y cuidado al detalle en cada uno de sus rincones. Desde la recepción hasta las habitaciones, todo es perfecto. Y si hay algo que destacar es la profesionalidad y amabilidad de todo su personal. La atención es exquisita. Si se pudiera poder una puntuación más alta, sin duda la pondría. Gracias en especial a Sergio, de recepción que nos trató estupendamente cuando llegamos. Desde luego siempre que vuelva a Madrid no tengo duda de dónde me voy a alojar. Millones de gracias a todo el equipo de Barceló Hotel Torre de Madrid, hasta la próxima!
subway line makes rooms shake and noisy unfortunately. Additionally meeting rooms we booked came with annoyed rude staff, no coffee and for 500 euro no less. Pool is tiny and gets reserved (booked out) which was not communicated. At check in had to wait around 10 minutes because theres only one member of staff to check people in. Bathroom light switch was broken so first night couldnt turn it off. Would expect better from 5 stars.
Amazing view of the city and great service all around, including housekeeping. Definitely recommend in terms of value per money. Minor nuisances of changing elevators.
Hotel incrível,Tem uma localização imbatível, as instalações são lindas e sempre impecáveis.Todo o staff é super simpático e profissional mas tenho que destacar o excelente trabalho do Jorge Blanco que, antes da nossa chegada, teve em conta todas as nossas necessidades e graças a ele tudo foi perfeito.O quarto é bem espaçoso e bonito e o melhor de tudo: silencioso.Belas vistas da Gran Vía, à noite é pura magia.O banheiro perfeito, boa luz, bom espelho e um chuveiro incrível.As camas são muito confortáveis, com lençóis macios e travesseiros à la carte.
Increíble Hotel,Cuenta con una ubicación inmejorable, las instalaciones son preciosas y siempre están impecables.Todo el personal Es súper amable y profesional pero he de resaltar la gran labor de Jorge Blanco que antes de nuestra llegada tuvo en en cuenta todas nuestras necesidades y gracias a el todo fue perfecto.La habitación es muy espaciosa y bonita y lo mejor de todo : silenciosa.Vistas preciosas a la gran vía , de noche es pura magia .El baño perfecto , buena luz , buen espejo y una ducha increíble .Las camas son muy cómodas y las sábanas suaves y agradables y almohada a la carta.
No es sólo excelente, es buena calidad, es buen servicio, buena atención....Todos, desde la recepción, a las camarer@s, y a las camareras de pisos, gracias a todos ellos por tan estupenda atención! El restaurante estaba todo exquisito, el desayuno de 10, y los cócteles de vicio!
Cada vez que voy me siento como en casa. En el sentido de confort, atención, cariño por parte de todo el personal. La cama es impresionante. Las habitaciones también. Y las vistas una maravilla. En el corazón de Madrid.

Best location besides all interesting spots, bars and restaurants, theaters were all the big shows are performing in Madrid, shops etc. Friendly staff, yummy and very complete breakfast and cozy rooms with nice views. What else? Totally recommended.

Hotel con ubicación excelente. Nos quedamos en una suite por lo que la habitación era inmensa con salón independiente y en el baño ducha y bañera. Servicio muy atento. Desayuno muy variado, de gran calidad. Bonita decoración. Con piscina aunque no la usamos.
Localización 10 en plena Plaza de España , parada de metro en la puertaHabitaciones amplias y cómodas Baño idem, no he conseguido agua más q templada , no descarto q por torpeza mía.Desayuno espectacular .Hace frío en todo el hotel . Sensación térmica no muy agradable. .
Muy recomendable, muy céntrico, una panorámica de la Fran Vía y la Plaza de España estupenda. El servicio muy profesional. El baño perfecto y la limpieza fenomenal. El hotel es un encanto. Volveré sin duda.

Estuve este fin de semana en el hotel. El trato excelente desde que entramos hasta que nos fuimos, Inès la chica que nos atendió fenomenal, muy amable y atenta en todo momento, muy agradecidos con su trato. Las vistas de la habitación también nos encantaron y recomendamos a Noelia la chica de los masajes también de 10!
Um dos melhores hotéis da cidade e é sério! Estive em vários hotéis em Madrid ao longo dos anos e desta vez escolhemos este para ficar antes e depois do nosso casamento. A qualidade, o conforto, o pessoal ... Sentimo-nos em casa, adorei tudo neste hotel. Definitivamente vou voltar.

One of the best hotels in the city and I mean it! I have been in several hotels in Madrid throughout the years and this time we picked this one to stay before and after our wedding. The quality, comfort, the staff... We felt like home, loved every single thing about this hotel. Will definitely come back.

O hotel central, serviço muito bom em geral. Os quartos são espaçosos e bem cuidados, assim como os banheiros. Tem uma academia pequena mas aberta 24 horas, a verdade é que não encontrei ninguém às 8h, tudo muito limpo e arrumado. O Spa é pequeno mas bom para passar uma hora e desligar-se do mundo, tem um terraço por cima do spa para banhos de sol. O café da manhã é ótimo, é de graça e servem na mesa tudo o que você precisa e quantas vezes você precisar. O pessoal do hotel, um dez. Nós voltaremos!
El hotel céntrico, muy buen servicio en general. Las habitaciones son amplías y cuidadas al detalle al igual que los WC. Dispone de un gimnasio pequeño pero abierto 24h, la verdad que no he encontrado nadie a las 8am, todo muy limpio y ordenado. El Spa es pequeño pero bien para estar una horita y desconectar del mundo, tiene una terraza arriba del spa para tomar el sol. El desayuno es genial, es libre y te sirven en la mesa todo lo que necesites y las veces que necesites. El personal del hotel, un diez. Volveremos!

Very nice hotel and rooms. I like the layout of the toilet / bathroom area. Room clean. Hotel staff are polite and friendly. Breakfast was good with a nice spread. Hotel is located at the edge of the city area. Easy to walk around for food and shopping.
Very comfortable, close to everything! Nice staff and a very good breakfast. Two different sets of elevators will connect the Lobby to the Rooms, so be ready to exchange elevators every time.
Great stay. Very friendly staff. Upgraded my room and had good view across Plaza España. Breakfast varied though more vegetarian options would be good. Pool and sauna nice though hours relatively limited at 11am to 9pm wanted a morning swim. On the whole very good.
We booked a junior suite which had a living room separated by the bedroom via a hallway, which also had the bathroom. They were able to convert the sofa into a bed for us as well. The thing I liked the most about this hotel was the breakfast. I have to say the selection is really good and it’s definitely worth adding it to your stay. The location is a bit far from the heart of the shops on the Gran Via. While it is close to the Gran Via, it still is about a 10 min walk to some of the shops. The hotel is surrounded by office buildings so the view we had wasn’t great. The pool is nice to have especially in the winter seasons. Nonetheless, I still give this hotel 5 stars.
Very amazing hotel. Very helpful staff.But I just felt there was something missing to give it 5 stars. Maybe a follow up visit it required. Love the shower set up. TV in the rooms is high tech. You get a personal iron, slippers and robe. There's a restaurantand a very good bar within the hotel. Location is very good. I would recommend
