Location is perfect and close to everything but amenities are old and worn out. Doors do not close properly. Kitchen has everything for some food preparation. View from the roof is nice. Can be nosy but was ok during our stay. Should be good value for money considering location and spacious rooms.

We made the booking online and had only the posted photos to go by, so we knew we were in trouble when we drove down the street and saw that the building is pink! A pink building on the Gold Coast...
They must think that they are in Florida.
Then we started finding out the small print. No off-street parking, no wi-fi, no remote for the TV, no house-keeping - we were there for two nights and no cleaner came near the room - couldn't have the ceiling fan on at night because the buzzing noise even at the lowest setting kept us awake. Old microwave - we had to fiddle with it to make it work at all. Weird office hours - we never stayed in any motel before where the office closed at 2:30 in the afternoon.
It's an old, tired-looking motel and the the closer you get, the more the wrinkles show. I guess you get what you pay for, but we won't be going back there.
Upside? The room was clean and tidy, but we're still not going back.
Big downside? Our online booking required our credit card number to secure the reservation and the confirmation assured us that the motel would not take the payment out of the card and that we could pay them directly. When we we arrived, we found that the motel *had* taken the money straight from the credit card.

Have stayed here twice and it was a hit and miss. Top floor is definitely best as you can really hear people in the stairwell moving around as well as upstairs. Rates are some of the cheapest you'll find during high season but the place is pretty basic.
Be careful though as quoted rate is for a single person, despite getting a double room. They will charge extra for the 2nd person.
Location across Greenmount beach is amazing.
Would return again if on a strict budget - like eating canned soup for dinner strict.

I have stayed at this motel many times and always ask for a top 3rd floor unit as is much quieter. This is an old 1960`s style motel with aircon so is somewhat rundown but always clean and usually serviceable and if you have a problem ask for another room and if crockery missing tell staff and as it is an economy motel and you do get what you pay for and rooms have digital TV`s and separate toilet and shower, Sth East corner rooms with balcony, table & chairs and have a glorious beach and sunrise views with a BBQ area on roof but beds are comfortable and motel is close to clubs, movies, food centres and beach and public 15 minute busses to airport and Gold Coast & NSW coastal areas, so be happy and enjoy this beautiful holiday area.

Theres was a power outage here for 4-5 hours here during my stay which was inconvenient.
DO not stay here if you want to get some sleep. This motel is NOISY at night with people coming in and out of the rooms. Doors to the room are noisy when you open and close it. You can easily hear movement in the next room which is really annoying.
I had to kill 2 big cockroaches in my room on my 3 day stay here. The person servicing the room just knocks so LOUD like they are going to break the door down. The staff should have some sense and provide each room with a 'DO NOT DISTURB' tag you can hang on the outside of the door to allow people to sleep in the morning in peace.
The only good thing I found about this motel is it has air con, its just across the beach and near a lot of fast food, shop outlets.
I dont think Ill be back here as there are better quality hotels in the new high rise buildings next door
