A bit expensive for a Hampton Inn, but comfortable and convenient halfway between Bangor and Bar Harbor. We stay exclusively at Hampton hotels and we've stayed at others that were much nicer for one third the price. This is the first Hampton we've stayed at that is attempting to avoid all the wasteful plastic bottles for lotion and shampoo buy installing large bottles mounted to the wall. However, they do not offer daily room service, which is a BIG negative considering how expensive this hotel is. Breakfast was good and plentiful and is included with your room.

Hotel was clean. Good size rooms. About 30-40 minutes drive to Acadia. Lots of restaurant options on the way. Long breakfast hours which was nice after we got up super early to do sunrise at Cadillac Mountain.

Queríamos explorar a ilha e pensamos que este era um bom lugar para ficar para visitar os dois lados a um preço mais barato. Very nice place to stay. The 30 min drive to Acadia National Park was a bummer but not terrible. Room was serviced well when we asked. Used hot tub and laundry. Breakfast had a good selection and was tasty. Workers were nice all around

We wanted to explore the Island and we thought this was a nice place to stay to visit both sides at a cheaper price. Some nice restaurants for dinner when you’re on your way back from exploring and a lot cheaper than the touristic area and probably more tasty. The Receptionist was awesome, he even gave out daughter a small stuffed owl that she didn’t let go all trip.
They have a nice little pool with warm water and a hot tub! So you can relax after a long hike.
There is a grocery store in front of the hotel, which is nice for getting snacks for the hikes.

Fiquei neste hotel por anos para trabalhar com boas experiências em geral. No entanto, fiquei de 17 a 22 de fevereiro e fui picado por percevejos. No fim de semana eles mudaram meu quarto para mim e foram prestativos e tentaram trabalhar comigo. Mas quando desci para discutir com a gerência após o fim de semana, eles ficaram chocados quando eu disse que tinha picadas de percevejos e francamente desdenhoso e incrédulo. Depois de voltar para casa com várias discussões, consegui convencê-los de que precisavam de mais controle de pragas para esta sala. Eu pensei que eles tinham feito isso, mas lendo comentários do mês passado, aparentemente eles continuam a ter uma infestação de percevejos e ainda parecem estar em completa negação de que existem percevejos no hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel off and on for years for work with good experiences overall. However, I stayed from February 17-22 and was bitten by bed bugs. Over the weekend they did change my room for me and were helpful and tried to work with me. But when I came down to discuss with management after the weekend they were shocked when I said I had bed bug bites and frankly dismissive and disbelieving. After coming home with multiple discussions I was able to convince them that they needed more pest control for this room. I thought they had done this, but reading reviews from last month, apparently they continue to have a bed bug infestation and still appear to be in complete denial that there are bedbugs at the hotel.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast options were acceptable for us even if not wonderful, typical continental breakfast type. Egg disk available, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, waffle, etc.
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Would stay here again if out this way.
