I'll be clear, this is not a 5 Star rated bed & breakfast establishment. I award it 5 Stars purely on the basis that it offers outstanding value for just £25 per night. Included in that, exceptionally low price is: Secure, off-road parking, a clean and tidy room, friendly and helpful staff a TV*, WiFi and a basic, do it yourself, breakfast.
Gateway is easy to find although the suggested U-Turn after the traffic lights wasn't possible because of the queuing traffic in the other lane and cars behind me not at all happy to wait. It is just a short (20 minute) walk to Broadgreen Hospital or the Livertpool University Hospital.
*I could only get BBC1 and ITV on my TV.

We needed to book somewhere for the uye festival. We did not think we would find a b&b so reasonable priced and so clean. Everyone we met both staff and visitors was very friendly. And it has secure parking. We are going back next year.
