I was expecting more to be honest based on how expensive this hotel is. Linens, towels and pillowcases were not clean, all had stains on them. Even after the weekly service clean, the given towels and linen were not clean.
Had a bad experience with car parking. I was given a spot to park my car, after returning one day I found a car parked in my spot. After talking to the reception, they told me they have made a mistake and gave my spot to a different guest, as the whole car park reservation is manual on sheets of paper.
Dryer was too old and rusty and washing machine was leaking.
The location is good and the apartment is good space.

The front desk woman told us we could check in early no problem. We drove from Brisbane to the hotel arrived at 1pm and she said there was no room available. When I reminded her that she had said we could come early and check in early, she said that she didn't say that and basically that I am lying.
Then when we came back at 2:30 she had a huge attitude problem, can't even pretend to be professional and she said to me, the deposit was 100, then she said it was 200, (maybe I miss heard) that is not an issue, the issue is the way she chose to speak to us, she said "didn't you read your booking?" in front of everyone. Like she is doing us a favour.
The parking space we were assigned was not in the level she said it was so we spent 30 minutes going around in circles trying to find this spot, with a crying baby in the car, then we had to go up and she said to look in another level, so we finally found it but what a waste of time.
We pay good money to rent these apartments and just ask for friendly professional staff. We were promised a king size bed, got a queen size, and they refused to help us, they even refused to answer the front desk when we called the second time. I asked to speak to manager, they said there was no manager on duty but I know there was because I saw her there when we checked in. And to top it off, the rooms were extremely noisy. you could here dudes arguing or talking from surrounding rooms, and from the hallway
So:
-Extremely unhelpful, rude staff, I don't know where they get these people. ZERO f**ks given!
-Noisy rooms, you can hear people arguing on adjacent balcony. You can hear everything at the front door hallway.
- Room not as advertised, no king bed, no dish soap or dish sponge to wash dishes, and one tiny little rubbish bin for the whole stay.
Next time we will spend our money elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.

We thought we upgraded from another great hotel to the Mantra. What a mistake. And because they have a no refund policy, there was nothing we could do. Dry and unhelpful staff, no matter how polite we were. Requested and paid a lot of money for a better room, and they could not comply. So rude about it. Honey moon wasted on this place. Would not recommend. Have blogged and told many people. Really devastated to be stuck here during my stay. Not worth it, AT ALL.

Working in retail myself, I thought high staff helplessness would always be priority. I have never seen a more rude reception in my life. She did not give me a solution or called security, just because i had a room with a private owner. I loved the hotel to be honest, i was thinking of booking with them for next time. But after speaking with reception, I’m never coming back again.
I was with my family, and got disrespected in front of them. I wish she gave me a solution with the disrespect, but no.
Kindly fire the middle aged lady with her hair in a bun, if you want more service. Thank-you. I will happily help locate which one she is if you choose to contact me.

Great view from balcony, great location access to everything. Nice clean rooms in generous size. Reception staff are so friendly and helpful!

I have stayed at the Mantra Circle many times over the last 10 years and it was so sad to see how much the quality has declined on my recent stays. It was not clean, very outdated, furniture had chips, dints and stains. Both times the door locks weren’t working and the maintenance man had to be called (he said they haven’t updated a thing since covid started). When paying such a substantial amount you’d expect to get what you pay for. Unfortunately not for the Mantra Circle.

I've traveled pretty extensively, but this was one of the nicest places I've stayed. View was amazing, building has 10/10 amenities, it's a 15 second walk to a Woolworths.
Service when checking in was great, we arrived early but we were still accommodated.
We'll be back in a few months to stay as we're now considering purchasing an apartment in the same building.
