Pro: nice staff and rooms, excellent welcome, and the view from the dining room is a must. Con: top of a hill again, but worth the walk :)

Incredible hotel with accomodating hosts. Their Covid practices are first class. Everything about our stay here was amazing and the views are spectacular, so good in fact we just spent an afternoon in the room watching the sunset over catbells. Can’t beat that!!
Highly recommend.

Not sure where to start other than to say everything was absolutely excellent. We were very kindly welcomed by Mark, I don't think we've ever had such a lovely welcome anywhere else we've stayed! Our room was wonderful, stunning views, excellent shower and very comfortable bed with some really nice amenities. The 2 course breakfast was sensational, and the breakfast host was such a lovely lady, she made everyone feel so welcome. It's only a short walk into Keswick which is a really lovely town with lots of restaurants, cafes and independent shops. Mark had sent an email when we booked to advise we make restaurant reservations in advance, which was very good advice as most places were fully booked so would definitely recommend doing this! The Grange absolutely deserves its 5* rating, I'd personally give it 6. Will definitely be back and it has set the bar very high for any future B&B we go to! Thank you for a truly brilliant holiday.

The owners and staff went above and beyond to ensure that the guests feel safe and comfortable, especially during the pandemic. The breakfast was delicious and all the tables were spaced out and all staff wore masks. Hand sanitizers were placed throughout the hotel.
The room was spacious and well looked after.
